  • Artificial intelligence is at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Education must change in order to develop the capabilities necessary for future AI-based societies. This study developed and applied artificial intelligence experience classes using Teachable machine to elementary school students, and analyzed changes in artificial intelligence understanding and interest among students. Among the 10 artificial intelligence classes, 4 classes used various artificial intelligence education platforms, and 6 classes focused on Teachable machines. Before and after the application of the program, students' interest and understanding in artificial intelligence were examined. Quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted together. Studies have shown that both students' interest and understanding of artificial intelligence has improved since the application of the program. Furthermore, based on the findings, we propose a follow-up study for the development of artificial intelligence training programs.

  • The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum encourages students to use graphs in newspapers and the Internet as materials when teaching graphs, and to experience a series of statistical problem-solving processes that collect, classify, organize, graph and interpret data. The graphs that the students learn through traditional textbooks were a single type of graphs. In particular, the graphs of the 5th and 6th grade groups were only increased in numbers, but the basic concepts were repeated in the 3rd and 4th grades. Fortunately, from the 2009 revision curriculum, it is possible to select the graph suitable for the situation while comparing the characteristics of some graphs. In most cases, the graphs used in the real world are presented in the form of a compounded infographics. The purpose of this study is to analyze and analyze the manifestations of information processing competence elements emphasized in the 2015 revised curriculum through the statistical project class using the informal graphic in the fifth grade of elementary school. And we suggested a concrete class plan.

  • The aim of this research is to examine demand of disaster nursing education and core competencies of clinical nurses, and identify elements affecting their core competencies. The data analysis found that there was difference in demand of disaster nursing education(p=.036) depending on disaster experiences, and that there were differences in core competencies depending on age(p=.013), department(p=.007), experiences of disaster nursing education(p<.001), and consciousness of disaster preparedness(p<.001). In addition, it was identified that consciousness of disaster preparedness(p=.003) and experiences of disaster nursing education(p<.001) are the elements affecting core competencies in disaster nursing. It is expected that the findings of this research will be used as basic resources to improve the ability to quickly respond to disaster, and to explore development of education programs on clinical practices.

  • SW education has been incorporated into the regular curriculum since the 2015 curriculum due to the social changes caused by the 4th industrial revolution. The most important thing in SW education is the improvement of Computational Thinking. The study on the underprivileged who have little opportunity for education was relatively inadequate. In this study, CT competency of 135 underprivileged students were measured who were suffering from educational underprivileged. The underprivileged students were recruited from 15 local children's centers in Namyangju city and recruited 210 general students from B elementary schools in Namyangju city by setting up a selection criterion. As a result of comparing the CT competence between the two groups, it was found that the CT competence of the underprivileged students was lower than that of the general students, and suggested several implications with this result.

  • Level-Based Education is necessary for the multi-cultural learners because they tend to have the academic underachievement and learning deficiency that cause the huge educational gap. However, it is very hard to make the best of competence for the multi-cultural learners in the classroom. So, it is needed to suggest how we can use the educational contents that are appropriate for the Level-Based Learning and Individual Learning to make good use of teaching the learners from multi-cultural families. However, developing the new educational contents takes much time and cost, we have to improve existing contents for the student from multi-cultural families to use it. Hence, the purpose of this thesis is to develop the educational appropriateness evaluation scale to verify the educational contents that are for the multi-cultural students based on the educational content's evaluation tool, so by developing the scale, I intend to evaluate the 4~6 grades' Korean contents of the E-learning service and provide the ways of improvement.

  • Humanities are as crucial as the technology itself in the intelligent information society. Human-centered convergence information technology (IT), which reflects emotional and human nature, can be considered a unique technology with an optimistic outlook in the unpredictable future. Based on this research background, this paper proposed an education model that can improve the IT humanities capabilities of various learners, including elementary and secondary students, prospective teachers, incumbent teachers, school managers, and the general public, through analysis of previous studies on convergence education models. Furthermore, the practical aspects of the proposed model were closely examined so that the proposed education model could be stably incorporated and utilized in the educational field. There are seven strategies for implementing the education model proposed in this paper, including research on textbooks, teaching and learning materials, activation of research results, maker space creation, global joint research, online education operation, developing living lab governance, and diversification of self-sustaining platforms for sustainable and practical education. In the future, validity verification through expert Delphi is required as a follow-up study.

  • As the development of the information society, our lives enriched and became more convenient. However it leads to the dysfunction. These dysfunctions appear especially to teenagers. Information Ethics education should be strengthened in order to solve these problems. However experts in the subject of Information Ethics are lacking. The goal of this study is to find some factors of professionalism of teachers responsible for Information Ethics education and to develop an assessment tool. In this study, we find some factors of professionalism of Information Ethics teachers, make some preliminary questions and select some of them by discussing with experts. Through a preliminary and main inspection we analyze the reliability and validity of the questions and develop the final questions. To practically use the assessment tool, we consisted the standards table. This assessment tool can be used for evaluation an Information Ethics teacher's ability, used as the basic materials for improving it and suggested making some systematic curriculums for teacher's training.

  • This study examined the effects of STEAM program on preservice science teachers' communication competency and further explored their experiences of and reflection on STEAM program. The study design is one group pretest-posttest with mixed methodology using both quantitative and qualitative data. The STEAM program consists of three stages: introduction of STEAM, participation in STEAM activities, and reflection on the STEAM program. The preservice science teachers improved their communication competency after the STEAM program (p < .01). The preservice science teachers represented statistically higher scores on the three subscales of communication competency: Interpretation ability, self-presenting ability, and understanding others' viewpoints. In addition, the preservice science teachers reflected on their STEAM experiences. During the first stage of 'Presentation of the Problem Situation,' the preservice science teachers mentioned that they roused their curiosity due to everyday experience-related, social issues or present issues. In the stage of 'Creative Design,' the preservice science teachers mentioned that they selected the final idea through mutual consent of the members, the practical possibility of everyday life, the previous experience-based decisions, or persuasive power. Further, about 87.5% of preservice science teachers mentioned that they were fully engaged in the 'Emotional Learning' stages due to the application of integrated thinking, everyday related issues, and communication among group members. About 85% of the preservice science teachers mentioned that they could challenge new problems in future situations.

Therefore, in this study, the roles of individuals, companies, and the government to achieve results in responding to infectious diseases disaster management A comprehensive study was conducted on this issue, and it was attempted to understand the impact of workers' perceptions of infectious disease disaster management and government and corporate capabil]ities on disaster response performance. Method: The survey was conducted for workers in the automobile manufacturing industry in Ulsan, Gyeongju, and Yangsan, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed. Result: It was found that worker perception had a positive effect on both government and corporate capabilities as well as disaster management performance. In addition, government capacity and corporate capacity had a positive effect on disaster management performance. Conclusion: The results of this study are meaningful in that they reveal that not only workers' perceptions but also the capabilities of the government and companies are important to achieve disaster response performance. In addition, workers should make good use of opportunities for education and participation provided by the government and corporations, and make the most social efforts that workers can make.
