Elementary School Computer Education with the Focus on Case Study Using LOGO Programming Language and Fractal Geometry Theory (로고 프로그래밍 언어와 프랙탈 기하이론을 이용한 초등학교 컴퓨터교육 활용 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 초등학교 교육과정에서 교육목표로 다루고 있는 창의성이라는 주제와 학교현장에서 초등학생들에게 쉽게 접목시킬 수 있는 교육용 프로그래밍 언어인 LOGO 프로그래밍과 프랙탈 기하이론을 초등학교 컴퓨터교육에 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 향후 컴퓨터교육과정은 알고리즘과 프로그래밍 영역이 포함될 예정이며, 이러한 알고리즘과 프로그래밍 교육에는 교육용 프로그래밍 언어 사용이 필수적이며 이의 활용에 대한 연구가 시급한 상황이다. LOGO 프로그래밍과 프랙탈을 함께 지도함으로서 규칙성, 반복성, 유사성, 닮음 등 수학적 개념을 쉽게 이해하는 것이 가능하므로, 이를 활용하여 초등학교 수학과 교육과정에서 반드시 학습해야 할 도형, 측정, 규칙성과 문제 해결 영역과 연계하여 지도하면 좋은 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper describes an experiment of concrete and specific group work learning system based on the traditional Jigsaw group work learning model. Jigsaw model has two groups of students such as random group and expert group so that a course can make progress on explaining and lecturing all members of class after each student can be a member of expert group of course topic. We design and implement Web-based training system to support collaboration and Interaction among students of a course based on Jigsaw model The Web- based learning system makes each group going up to the expert level of a course subject by supporting various study menu and provides equal opportunity of improving social abilities such as leadership, communication skill, trust, and trouble-settling by taking part in collaboration activities.

  • Many e-learning systems adopts SCORM as an e-learning standard. E-learning systems evaluate and apply the learning difficulty in order to improve the studying efficiency. But, it is hard to change the learning difficulty and provide the customized learning contents during studying in SCORM. Because it is difficult to provide the customized contents to learners by changing the learners' level at runtime and to control optional learning. In this paper, we designed and implemented SCORM-based Contents Organization System on learners' level(SCOS) for complementing the SCORM's weakness. SCOS re-evaluates a learner's level whenever the learner's level is changed during learning, and provides customized contents on the learner's level.

  • Recently, the importance of self-directed learning has emerged in the fields of public education, private education, lifelong education, and vocational training education, in which learners can actively cope with knowledge in an infusion-oriented way. However, there are various theoretical knowledge such as concepts and strategies for self-directed learning, but the situation is insufficient for a system where learners can easily receive content in the academic field they want, depending on the actual self-directed learning operation plan or learning area. Therefore, since it is important to provide various learning content in this paper, we utilize text mining techniques to obtain appropriate information and refine and categorize the meaning. On-line, they want to study a system that provides a variety of content in the academic field that learners are trying to acquire.

  • 본 논문에서는 스프레드쉬트 프로그램 중에서 가장 활용도가 높은 Excel을 이용하여 만든 여러 가지 모의실험이 확률 통계학습에 어떻게 활용되는 지를 제시함으로써 개념의 지도 및 문제풀이 능력 향상의 효율성을 높이는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 즉 이는 단순한 이론적 수치계산이 아닌 구체적 경험을 제시하여 학생들에게 확률적 상황에 내재된 확률적 정보의 의미를 파악하게 함으로써 확률의 개념에 대한 이해를 돕고 확률 통계단원에 대한 흥미를 유발케 하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the phenomenon presented the process of problem solving activities of students with the mathematical context information accompanied problem based on Freudenthal's mathematizing theory and Realistic Mathematics Educations about cognitive and emotional aspects. In conclusion, taking a look at the results of study, open-ended contextual problem was had to offer in order to pull out various solutions. Teachers should help students develop their own methods, discuss their methods with others' and reinvent formal mathematics and its constructive process under the guidance of the teachers.

  • FCM 알고리즘은 입력 벡터와 각 클러스터의 유클리드 거리를 이용하여 구해진 소속도만를 비교하여 데이터를 분류하기 때문에 클러스터링 된 공간에서의 데이터들의 분포에 따라 바람직하지 못한 클러스터링 결과를 보일 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 대칭적 성질을 이용하는 대칭성 측도에 퍼지 이론을 적용하여 군집간의 거리에 따른 변화와 군집 중심의 위치, 그리고 군집 형태에 따라 영향을 덜 받는 개선된 FCM이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 효과적으로 패턴을 분류하기 위해 개선된 FCM 알고리즘을 적용한 개선된 하이브리드 네트워크를 제안한다. 제안된 하이브리드 네트워크는 개선된 FCM 알고리즘을 입력층과 중간층의 학습구조 적용하고 중간층과 출력층의 학습구조는 일반화된 델타학습법을 적용한다. 제안된 방법의 인식성능을 평가하기 위해 2차원 좌표평면 상의 데이터를 기존의 Max_Min 신경망을 이용한 FCM 기반 RBF 네트워크와 FCM 기반 RBF 네트워크, HCM 기반 네트워크와 제안된 방법 간의 학습 및 인식 성능을 비교 및 분석하였다.

  • Machine learning is an algorithm which learns a computer based on the data so that the computer can identify the trend of the data and predict the output of new input data. Machine learning can be classified into supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning. Supervised learning is a way of learning a machine with given label of data. In other words, a method of inferring a function of the system through a pair of data and a label is used to predict a result using a function inferred about new input data. If the predicted value is continuous, regression analysis is used. If the predicted value is discrete, it is used as a classification. A result of analysis, no. 8 (5, 3.4, setosa), 27 (5, 3.4, setosa), 41 (5, 3.5, setosa), 44 (5, 3.5, setosa) and 40 (5.1, 3.4, setosa) in Table 3 were classified as the most similar Iris flower. Therefore, theoretical practical are suggested.

A Study on the Web Based Collaborative Learning Systems (웹기반 협동학습시스템의 활용에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand students' use intentions of Web Based Collaborative Learning (WBCL) system. To meet this purpose, we developed a research model based on the Decomposed TPB. This model contains 5 influencing factors: Explicit social influence(EXSI) and Implicit social influence(IMSI), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived easy of use(PEOU), Perceived Playfulness(PP). Data was collected 254 university students from two different institutions. Also, the analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing by using PLS 3.0. The result shows that influence factors except PEOU have a important and significant impact on user Behavior Intention(BI). Using WBCL system and learning tool, team leader(that is referent) and members can be a good interaction. For these same reasons, We found that especialy Explicit social influence(EXSI) and Implicit social influence(IMSI) are special influence factors in reference group.

  • Although the e-learning system is being introduced in elementary and secondary education, incorporating it into the regular curriculum is difficult. Other problems include the lack of sessions and connection to regular courses in realistically applying project-based learning in the regular school curriculum. Therefore. this study established, applied, and analyzed the blended learning strategy to resolve such issues. Specifically, a theoretical investigation on the concept of blended learning and IT-oriented, project-based learning was conducted. The theme for learning based on integrated courses was also selected, and the 5-stage project-based teaching and learning strategy, concretized. The concretization strategy involved discussion, role division, and alternative evaluation strategy. The class progressed in formats of on-class online, on-class offline and off-class online. As a result, students experienced inconvenience since the project only lasted for a short period of time. Nonetheless, they responded positively to the effect of project-based learning in general. This study was able to suggest the possibility of applying e learning in regular school curriculum and propose the direction for digital and learner oriented teaching.
