오늘날의 경영환경에서 많은 조직들은 조직구성원들 간의 공적 또는 사적인 정보, 의견, 지식등에 대한 공유 능력을 조직 경쟁력의 원천으로 인식하고 있으며, 이러한 능력을 강화하기 위한 방안으로 실행공동체(CoP)를 주목하고 있으며, 많은 투자와 노력을 기울이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CoP의 활성화를 위해 조직지원, 신뢰, 정보시스템이 주요한 영향요인이 될 수 있는지와 조직의 CoP와 조직의 지식교환 및 지식창출 간의 관계를 실증적으로 규명하였다. 본 연구는 웹서베이를 통한 166개의 기업데이터를 바탕으로, PLS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 수행되었다. 분석 결과, 조직지원, 신뢰, 정보시스템 모두는 실행공동체 참여에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 실행공동체의 참여 정도가 지식교환에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 실행공동체의 참여와 지식교환 정도가 새로운 지식창출에 영향을 미친다는 점도 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 조직이 실행공동체를 활성화시키고 지식창출 성과를 향상시키기 위한 전략 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

최근 조직 내 정보시스템이 제공하는 지식과 정보에 대한 공유와 교환이 더 이상 성공적이라고 판단되지 않음에 따라 그 대안으로써 가상공동체(Virtual Community)가 주목받고 있다. 그러나, 가상공동체에서 살아있는 지식과 정보의 공유를 위해서는 공동체 안의 구성원인 리더와 구성원(팔로워) 들의 상호작용을 통한 몰입이 매우 중요하다는 인식이 확산되었다. 그러나, 이러한 몰입에 영향을 주는 리더-구성원 간의 영향관계는 충분히 연구된 바 없다. 이에 본 연구는 가상공동체에서 리더의 리더십 스타일과 팔로워의 특성 그리고 이들 간의 동기와 신뢰가 가상공동체의 몰입에 미치는 인과관계에 대해 분석하고자 하였다. '지각된 리더의 배려'로 측정된 '서번트 리더십'과 '지각된 리더의 조직지향'을 통해 측정된 '변혁적 리더십'이 구성원의 팔로워십과 동기, 리더와 조직에 대한 신뢰에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 460명의 가상공동체 구성원을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 서번트 리더십과 구성원의 팔로워십 특성이 구성원의 몰입에 있어서 중요한 역할을 수행함을 알 수 있었다.

This study examined the activities of Community of Practice (CoP) of research data curators, including their community building and maintenance activities, by using activity theory as its main theoretical framework. The study used an embedded multiple-case study design for exploring the activities of three CoP of research data curators. The case study design used document analysis and semi-structured interviews to collect data. Besides the community building and maintenance activities, other activities were performed in the CoP of research data curators, which could be largely divided into curation activities, education activities, and communication activities. Membership was largely divided into institutional membership and individual membership, and the motives for members to join and contribute to the CoP vary from extrinsic to intrinsic motivations. Finally, we identified and categorized challenges and success indicators for CoP of research data curators as perceived by participants. In particular, we identified three types of challenges or contradictions the communities faced and 14 perceived indicators of success. This study informs the practice of research data curation by providing a knowledge base for building and maintaining a CoP of research data curators.

The study is to prove the necessity of librarian as the coordinator for the building and sustenance of "Community of Practice" in public libraries. Therefore, The study reviews literatures and conducts a survey how librarians think of their work from the perspective of CoP. The results of this study are as follows: "Community of Practice(CoP)" is the kind of community composed of "Domain", "Community" and "Practice" for knowledge circulation; The coordinator neither leader in CoP nor manager outside of CoP is necessary to sustain CoP by supporting management of CoP and promoting knowledge sharing; The programs and clubs designed by public librarians are potential CoPs; The potential CoPs turn into the sustainable CoPs when the participants of programs turn into the directors of programs; It means the coordinator of CoP is librarian in case of public libraries.

The study is to establish the role of libraries in governance. Governance is valid when private actors participate in it. Because it emphasizes the cooperation with actors in diverse sectors for solving complex problems in society. Communities as private actors with publicness help governance actualize direct democracy by participating in governance. Libraries are institutes that foster communities, but in some cases libraries are communities themselves. Therefore, the study reviews literature to prove the relationship between communities and governance and the relationship between libraries and communities. On the basis of literature reviews, the study conducts the survey to proves the relationship between libraries and governance.

This study, by proposing a case study of community radio, attempts to expand the horizon of academic and social discussion on the medium that has been disproportionately skewed towards discourses on alternative media, technology, and programming content. As residents of local community actively participate in the production process, they reconstruct their cultural identities. In that sense, community radio is a medium that makes it possible the re-negotiation and reconfiguration of cultural identities of local residents. That is to say, a case study on the specific ways in which community residents appropriate community radio in reconstructing their identities offers us some entry points where we may come up with a new perspective on the identity of community radio. The results of fieldwork show that community radio, as it is closely intertwined with the residents' participatory cultural practices, is a medium of 'lived culture' -i.e., a medium that contributes to the making of civility, communitarianism, and social network. Community radio, then, may be redefined as an interactive medium that contributes to the formation of social rapport and solidarity.

본 연구는 대학생의 독서활성화를 위한 방안으로 독서에 대한 대학생의 자발적 참여와 흥미를 유도할 수 있는 실천공동체의 한 유형인 독서토론클럽을 제안한다. 그러기 위해서 혁신적인 실천공동체 프로그램을 운영하고 있는 네덜란드 공공도서관의 실천공동체의 성공사례를 살펴보고, 국내 대학도서관에 실천공동체 성공사례를 적용하는 방안을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 대학도서관에서 실천공동체가 성공적으로 적용되기 위해서는 연결자(connector), 가이드(guide), 선생님(teacher), 대화상대(conversation partner)로서의 사서의 역할이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This study analyzed domestic and foreign literature and examined cases of foreign Community of Practice(CoP) of experts to find out what benefits researchers can gain from participating in their CoP, how the CoP was established, and how data is shared within the CoP. In addition, this study discussed on how to establish a CoP of experts in Korea for sharing and using research data. By participating in the CoP of experts, members can be provided with the opportunity to build an experts' network and have a chance to meet with various experts, to acquire and share their expertise and information, to receive help from other experts, to learn about their expertise, and to have opportunities for professional experiences. In addition, this study discussed 4 factors such as operation method and management system, memberships and number of members, activities, and management of data and repository for establishing a CoP of experts for sharing and using research data. This study provides a knowledge base for building a CoP of experts in Korea.

Drawn upon the analysis of Seoul community media, this study make six points. The generation of community is not essentially determined but has singularity and differences. Historical context, social conditionality, cultural orientation, and the subjects' will and anticipation bring out certain forms of community. Various power relations and desires are engaged in the formation of community. The process of the construction of community is necessarily and simultaneously mediated with collective acts of communication and sharing. Community is not so much cultivated within society as articulated with precariousness, negativity and limit. Community is able to create its own cultural sensibility and language to express it. Thereby community is a dynamics between articulation and disarticulation, convergency and divergency, similitude and difference living in our actual society.
