  • Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) is a facility that deposits an atomic layer on a wafer by causing a chemical reaction after decomposition using heat or plasma by inputting two or more gases during the semiconductor process. The main gas used at this time is NH3 (Ammonia). NH3 has a relatively narrow explosive range with an upper limit (UFL) of 33.6% and a lower limit (LEL) of 15%, but it can explode if a large amount suddenly gathers in one place. It is Velocity and fatal if inhaled or in contact with the skin. NH3 (Ammonia) of ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) facility is supplied to the chamber through the gas inlet and discharged after the reaction.

  • Existing edge discovery techniques only found edges of defined shapes based on precise definitions of edges. Therefore, there are many limitations in finding edges for images of complex and diverse shapes that exist in the real world. A method for solving these problems and discovering various types of edges is a cost minimization method. In this method, the cost function and cost factor are defined and used. This cost function calculates the cost of the candidate edge model generated according to the candidate edge generation strategy. If a satisfactory result is obtained, the corresponding candidate edge model becomes the edge for the image. In this study, a new candidate edge generation strategy was proposed to discover edges for images of more diverse shapes in order to improve the disadvantage of only finding edges of a defined shape, which is a problem of the cost minimization method. In addition, the contents of improvement were confirmed through a simple simulation that reflected these points.

  • The purpose of this study is to attempt a text network analysis for two years of 『Reference Materials for Librarian』 (2016-2017) published by the Library Operation Methodology Research Institute in North Korea. A text network analysis can measure how important a particular word by grasping the connectivity and relationship between words beyond a simple word frequency analysis, and it is also possible to interpret specific social phenomena and derive implications. Frequency, degree centrality, the betweenness centrality, community analysis of the collected words were calculated using NetMiner. As a result, the terms 'users', 'information services', 'information needs', 'information technology', 'social learning', 'computers', 'databases', 'information acquisition', 'information retrieval' and 'librarian' were appeared as important ones in understanding North Korean libraries.

Suggestions for Utilization of Supporters To Promote Public Libraries (공공도서관 홍보를 위한 서포터즈 활용에 대한 제언)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest for utilization of supporters to promote public libraries. To achieve the study purpose, in-depth interview with nine public library supporters of two public libraries was conducted. The data were analyzed using a qualitative method. The order in which the data analyzed is as follows: segmenting, first coding, in-depth coding, and theme discovery. According to the study results, the followings were suggested for the operation of public library supporters: 1) needed to assign roles based on supporters' capabilities and personal characteristic, 2) needed proactive role by the librarian in charge, 3) needed proactive role by the public library, 4) needed adequate rewards, 5) needed prior education about the public library.

Effects of Uncertainty on Continuous Intention by Type of Subscription: The Mediating Role of Ease of Justification (구독서비스 가입형태에 따른 불확실성 지각이 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향: 정당화 용이성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of membership type for subscription service (individual subscription vs. group subscription) on continuous intention, and to verify the mediating effect of ease of justification and the moderated mediating effect of uncertainty. An experiment was conducted on 78 university students. As a result, consumers who use subscription services in group subscription showed higher intention to continue using the subscription service than consumers who use the subscription service in individual subscription. Also, the ease of justification mediates the effect on the intention to continue using. In addition, uncertainty was found to moderating effect of ease of justification on continuous use intention according to the type of subscription. This study understands the psychological mechanism of consumers according to the type of subscription service subscription and provides useful implications for companies that provide subscription services.

MSSI System with Dispersion-managed Link Configured with Random-inverse Dispersion Maps (랜덤-반전 분산 맵으로 설계된 분산 제어 링크를 갖는 MSSI 시스템)

  • We proposed a flexible link configuration in a system combining mid-span spectral inversion (MSSI) and dispersion management used for long-distance transmission of high-capacity optical signals such as wavelength division multiplexing signals, and examined specific methods to increase chromatic dispersion and nonlinear distortion compensation effects. The dispersion map proposed to increase the flexibility of dispersion-managed link configuration has a 'random-inverse' structure. That is, in the proposed dispersion map, the residual dispersion per span (RDPS) of each fiber span in the first half section up to the optical phase conjugator is randomly distributed, and the RDPS distribution in the second half section reverses the distribution pattern of the first section. Although the proposed dispersion map has a random distribution of RDPS, it was confirmed that the distortion compensation effect is improved due to the fact that the dispersion profile is symmetrical with respect to the optical phase conjugator. In the dispersion map of the 'random-inverse' configuration, it was also confirmed that the compensation effect of the distorted wavelength division multiplexing signal becomes improved when the magnitude of the RDPS allocated to each fiber span is large.

  • Recently, there has been an increasing demand for performance improvement and miniaturization in response to the growing variety of signals and power demands in many industries such as mobile, IoT, and automotive. As a result, there is a high demand for high-performance chips and advanced packaging technologies that can package such chips. In this context, the FOWLP process technology is a suitable technology, and this paper discusses the plasma application technologies that are being used and studied to improve the shortcomings of this process. The paper is divided into four parts, with an introduction and case studies for each of the plasma application technologies used in each part.

Exploring Factors Influencing Life Satisfaction of Youth using Random Forests (랜덤포레스트를 활용한 청년 삶의 만족도 영향 요인 탐색)

  • This study was conducted to explore the factors that affect youth life satisfaction in order to find ways to increase their life satisfaction. For this purpose, we utilized data from the National Youth Policy Institute's '2021 Youth Socio-Economic Survey' to study 2,041 youth aged 18-34 as of 2021. The randomForest method was applied to explore various variables that affect youth life satisfaction. A total of 21 variables were analyzed, including demographic and socio-demographic factors and psychological and emotional factors.The results of exploring the variables affecting youth life satisfaction using randomForest are as follows. First, all 21 predictors were found to have an impact on young adults' life satisfaction. Second, the most significant impact on youth life satisfaction was found to be 'work values'. Third, it can be seen that young people's perceptions of society, such as 'political effectiveness' and 'perception of older generation', are also variables that affect youth life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the variables affecting youth life satisfaction are explained and discussion points are presented.

  • 통합물관리 (IWRM; Integrated Water Resources Management)란 생태계의 지속가능성(sustainability)을 해치지 않으면서, 공평한 방법(equity)으로 경제·사회·복지를 극대화(efficiency) 할 수 있도록 물과 토지 및 관련 기타 자원들을 조화롭게 개발하고 처리하는 과정을 말한다. IWRM 패러다임은 전 세계적 및 국가별 물관리 상황에 따른 시대적 이슈에 따라 변천하고 있고 1992년 리우 정상회담 이후 물위기 극복을 위한 새로운 패러다임으로 정착, 물재해 심화에 따라 2000년대 물안보라는 국가 차원의 과제로 발전하였다. 이에 이미 전세계 국가의 68%이상이 도입중이며 모든 국가로 확산 중에 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 향후 통합수자원관리 측면에서의 우즈베키스탄 내 업무와 환경을 분석하여 표준화된 수자원정보화 방향을 제시하고 통합물관리를 위한 통합물관리시스템을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 우즈베키스탄은 기본적으로 물관리 여건이 매우 불리한 물스트레스 국가로 분류되고 있다. 국가 내에서 필요로하는 대부분의 수자원이 양적으로 매우 부족하고, 강수량의 지역, 시기별 변동폭 역시 매우 크게 나타나고 있다. 또한 이용가능한 수자원을 작물재배가 가능한 시기에 농업용수로 80%이상을 취수하고 있어 심각한 물부족에 시달리고 있는 실정이다. 지정학적으로는 연강수량이 평균 400mm정도로 나타나고 있어 국내에서 생산되는 물 이외에는 국내를 통과하는 시르다리야, 아무다리야 강의 상류에 위치한 키르기즈스탄, 타지키스탄에서 생성된 물을 하천에서 취수하여 사용하고 있는 실정으로 제한된 수자원을 효율적, 합리적으로 이용하는 데 있어 관리기술의 개선이 필요하다. 수자원의 대부분은 수자원부에서 산하 관리조직을 통해 중앙에서 통제하에 관리하고 있으나 국가간, 지역별 용수배분, 갈등이 심하되고 있는 상태에 있으며 이러한 점을 해결하기 위한 상류-하류간 연계, 수량-수질간 연계, 지표수-지하수 연계 등을 위한 법적, 제도적 기반이 미흡한 상태이다. 이러한 우즈베키스탄 내 IWRM 도입의 필요성을 기반으로 통합물관리를 위한 시스템 구성요소를 도출하고 구축을 위해 고려해야 할 사항 및 발전방향을 본 연구를 통하여 제시하고자 한다.

The Volcanic Eruption Velocity and Tumulus of Jeju Island Controlled by the Natural Intelligence (자연 지능 제어에 의한 제주도의 화산 폭발 속도와 튜물러스)

  • This paper reports the results of the eruption of a volcano on Jeju Island at a certain rate, and the tumulus formed after the eruption and the basalt that erupted from the middle of Mt. Halla washed up to the sea. We analyzed the speed when basalt underground magma breaks through the neutral zone on the ground with an absolute temperature of about 1000K and explodes at an absolute temperature of 1200K at an altitude of 1950m. The density of combustion gas becomes smaller than the surrounding air due to the plume volcanic eruption, which is the heat flow of the flame column due to buoyancy, and buoyancy is generated and an updraft is formed. Flame pillars are classified as continuous, intermittent, and buoyant flame zones. As the speed of the flame pillar of Mt. Halla (1950m) falls from the highest point it has risen, potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and is caused by the flow of fluid, solving these two equations equal, the volcanic eruption velocity is 87.5 m/s. At this time, the density of magma is inversely proportional to the temperature. Geomunoreum (456m) had an explosion speed of 42.6m/s.
