A study on User Experience of Automatic Ticket Vending Machine UI :Focused on Seoul Metro Line 9 (지하철 무인 승차권 발매기 UI 사용 경험 연구 :서울시 지하철 9호선 1회용 발매기 중심으로)

  • The ATVM(Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) of Seoul Metropolitan is a Kiosk which is called Ticket Vending and Reload Device at the subway station. It is implemented for integrating transportation card system which is separated from a paper subway ticket and replacing ticket selling employees. However, since the automatic ticket vending machine was accepted in 2009, there has been confusion of purchasing a ticket. Therefore, it requires improvement of usability. This study, conducts a literature search. Also, the interface of ATVM is analyzed. Finally user observation proceeded at Sinnonhyeon Station of Seoul Metro line 9. The results show that selecting a destination and section fares is confusing process for user. Based on this survey the improvements of UI are proposed to expect advanced directions of the ATVM.

  • This study is for preparation a solution develop small suppliers. For this goal survey for the buyers, agents, supplier's situation and difficulties, policy and support systems. And After benchmark the other's countries, develop government policy, suppoet systems. As a results, the support must be made for public organization, small suppliers. The Response direction must be made for agents and private buyers. At the point of support systems, public organizations must implement the purchase systems and provide the verified informations of suppliers. And it's necessary to educate marketing and sales solutions. At the point of Response directions, it's necessary to make a standard for supply replaced MRO. And the beginning positioning directions of MRO-mall is needed to stress the differentials with private suppliers.

  • Recently, Interests on The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been increased. In the manufacturing sector, the introduction of Smart Factory, which automates and intelligent all stages of manufacturing based on Cyber Physical System (CPS) technology, is spreading. The complexity and uncertainty of smart factories are likely to cause unexpected problems, which can lead to manufacturing process interruptions, malfunctions, and leakage of important information to the enterprise. It is emphasized that there is a need to perform systematic management by analyzing the threats to the Smart Factory. Therefore, this paper systematically identifies the threats using the STRIDE threat modeling technique using the data flow diagram of the overall production process procedure of Smart Factory. Then, using the Attack Tree, we analyze the risks and ultimately derive a checklist. The checklist provides quantitative data that can be used for future safety verification and security guideline production of Smart Factory.

  • Many large-scale enterprises have developed software systems to build management information system for their business. However, it is hard to maintain share ability of data, compatibility of operation methedology, and interoperability among subsystems when the development project progresses since each distributed team prepares a development plan for its subsystem and must have poor communication problem among those teams. We must apply software configuration management to the whole life cycle of the software system in order to solve those Problems. We need a model and a repository in order to execute configuration management on configuration products like document, data, and source code which are generated through the life cycle of software development. In this paper, we suggest a model for configuration change control where cross- referencing among life cycle Phases and data-sharing are highlighted, and define ER model to use IRDS(Information Resource Dictionary system) and IRD schemas.

  • Global climate change is increasing, and the damage and scale of localized torrential rains are increasing. Pre-flood analysis simulation results should be derived from rainfall data through rainfall forecasts to prevent flood damage. In addition, it is necessary to control the use and management of flood response disaster prevention facilities through immediate decision-making. However, methods using spills and flood models such as XPSWMM and GATE2018 are limited due to professional usability and complex analytical procedures. Prototype (flood disaster prevention facility simulator) of this study is developed by calculating rainfall (short-term and long-term) using CBD software development methods. It is also expected to construct administrator and user-centric interfaces and provide GIS and visible data (graphs, charts, etc.).

Development of an 1-Dimensional Dynamic Numerical Model for BTX Removal Process Analysis by Gaseous-Biofilm Filtration (기체상-생물막 여과 공법의 BTX 제거 공정 해석을 위한 1차원 동적 수치모델 개발)

  • A biofilm filtration for the removal of gaseous pollutants has been recognized as a process with a complex interaction between the gas flow characteristics and the process operating variables. This study aims to develop an one dimensional dynamic numerical model which can be utilized as a tool for the analysis of biofilm filtration process operated in plug flow mode. Since, in a plug flow system, minor environmental changes in a gaseous unit process cause a drastic change in reaction and the interaction between the pollutants is an influencing factor, plug flow system was generalized in developing the model. For facilitation of the model development, dispersion was simplified based on the principles of material balance. Several reactions such as competition, escalation, and control between the pollutants were included in the model. The applicability of the developed model was evaluated by taking the calibration and verification steps on the experimental data performed for the removal of BTX at both low and high flow concentration. The model demonstrated a correlation coefficient ($R^2$) greater than 0.79 under all the experimental conditions except for the case of toluene at high flow condition, which suggested that this model could be used for the generalized gaseous biofilm plug flow filtration system. In addition, this model could be a useful tool in analyzing the design parameters and evaluating process efficiency of the experiments with substantial amount of complexity and diversity.

Experimental Study for Optimal Method in Measuring the Basic Friction Angle of Rock (최적의 기본마찰각 측정법에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Basic friction angles of Hwangdeung granite, Berea sandstone, Jeongsun marble, Hongcheon gneiss, Pungam shale and Eumseong sandy shale were measured by direct shear test, tilt test and pull test. Characteristics of basic friction angle and the accuracy of test methods were compared and the optimal method in measuring basic friction angle was suggested. Although basic friction angles might be measured accurately by direct shear test, the test apparatus is expensive and procedures are complicated. Tilt tests which is the suggested method for measuring basic friction angle by International Association for Rock Mechanics also provided similar basic friction angles measured by direct shear test. However, the error measured for the same rock type is higher than 7° and values by repeated measurements in one sample show different trends, such as increasing or decreasing or almost constant as measurements continued. The difference measured in one gneiss sample is higher 12°, indicating that tilt test may be not a reliable method for measuring basic friction angle. Not only pull test provided accurate and consistent results under low normal stresses, but also test apparatus is simple and inexpensive and procedure is not complicated, indicating that pull test may be the optimal method for measuring basic friction angle.

  • Korea has started new value creation which is the post catch-up innovation system from the catch-up innovation. Post catch-up innovation system is becoming the main R&D issue for Korea and is needed for the new concept of R&D management and planning frame. This study posed questionnaires : how to promote the knowledge creation in technology planning and what the role of organizational learning in the technology planning is. This paper suggests the relationship of success factors of knowledge creation in technology planning which is organized and operated by experts with different background. Based on the prior research on organizational learning, communications and collaborative interactions, four hypotheses that factors of knowledge creation in technology planning have positive relationship with organizational learning are extracted. This study adopts Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) to analyze the relationship between organizational learning and successful technology planning. The approach based on organizational learning and interaction will be useful for constructing the planning framework in the era of post catch-up innovation. This paper, therefore, suggests the possibility of new theoretical development and new research agenda.

  • Studies on the environment-friendly and permanent low energy saving measure are and will continue to be an eternal challenge. However, the demand is high for the technologies that can save energy significantly in everyday life that produce tangible benefits for the users by applying saving factors and that anyone can access easily when it comes the related procedure. Government policies related to the improvement of energy effect in the existing building structure are characterized by complex procedure. Moreover, cost required and reliability issue emerge when request is made to an expert. Accordingly, this study seeks to present energy improvement plan that can be utilized simply and conveniently at any place, any time by enabling customized design according to individual taste by enabling energy change amount and grade prediction when the users select only the part that they want to replace by using a simple program.

A Basic Study on the VTS Operator's Minimum Safe Distance (VTS관제사의 최소안전거리에 관한 기초 연구)

  • This study aims to enhance the effectivity of VTS(Vessel Traffic Service) control by investigating the minimum safe distance between vessel and vessel, vessel and land(obstacle) for the vessel's safe navigation within the VTS control area. In addition, to suggest basic data for the safe navigation, this study has done survey and analysis to each VTS center, and individual on the minimum safe distance to VTS operators of each ports of korea. Through ocean voyage by training ship, Singapore and Malacca strait's congested vessel traffic zone's control distance was compared and investigated the difference on safe distance by the different VTS operators. As a result, there was huge difference of minimum safe distance between the VTS operators belong to the same center. Over all, the port with gentle coastline, like donghae, the safe distance was wider than the other port. On the other hand, port with complex coastline and frequent entry and departure of the vessel, like mokpo, the safe distance was the shortest of all. Therefore, development of module suitable to port's natural conditions and traffic volume's necessity is required, for the operators affiliated to the same VTS center control according to formal method. Lastly, the full discussion by the expert group about establishment of standard control procedure in the future should be considered as well.
