  • In this paper, we propose a dynamic emotion system involving the state equation and the output equation from the control theory. In our emotion system, the state equation accepts external stimulus and generates emotions. And the output equation modifies the intensity of emotions in accordance with personalities and circumstances. The validity of the proposed emotion system is shown by two simulation works which express emotions according to personalities and circumstances.

  • In this study, we examined all peaks of confocal Raman spectra as peaks are the most important features for discrimination between basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and normal tissue (NOR). 14 peaks were extracted from these peaks using decision tree. For dimension reduction, frequently selected 4 peaks were chosen. They are located at 1014, 1095, 1439, $1523cm^{-1}$. These peaks were used as an input feature of the multilayer perceptron networks (MLP). According to the experimental results, MLP gave classification error rate of about 6.5%.

  • Yeosu area from the old historical monuments and artifacts related communications signal station, directions display panels, lighthouse, Geomundo the first submarine cable installation, etc. The historical value of the communication is present. Therefore, tourism and culture industries in conjunction with the Communication Museum and Science Center was established to recognize the importance of communication and utilizing the Superintendent to allow residents and people contributing to the establishment to promote.

  • $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$ chalcogenide amorphous materials was prepared by the conventional melt-quenching method. Samples were prepared by e-beam evaporator system and thermal evaporator technique. The thermal properties were investigated in the temperature range 300K-400K and the electrical properties were studied in the voltage range from 0V to 3V below the corresponding glass trasition temperature. The obtained results agree with the electrothermal model for Phase-Change Random Access Memory.

Properties of Spinel Ferrites for NTC Thermistor (NTC 서미스터용 스페넬 페라이트의 특성)

  • $Mn{1-X}Fe{2+X}O_4, Mg_{1-X}Fe_{2+X}O_4$ (x=0.0, 0.025, 0.1, 0.2) for negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor was prepared by calcination at $800^{\circ}C$ and sintering at form 1100 to $1250^{\circ}C$ with $50^{\circ}C$ intervals. The best linear property was obtained in the Mn-based sample sintered at $1200^{\circ}C$ with x=0.0 composition. Temperature coefficient of resistance, $\alpha$, was $-5.6%/^{\circ}C$ in the Mn-based sample, $-5.2%/^{\circ}C$ in the MM-based sample, and $-1.6%/^{\circ}C$ in the Mg-based sample. thermistor parameter, B, was in the range of 2665~7780 K. The results show the possibility that Mn-Ni-Co based thermistor could be substituted by the composition used in this study.

  • A multilayer two-stage bandpass filter using dissimilar low-temperature cofired-ceramic (LTCC) materials is proposed in this paper. The proposed bandpass filter is composed of ceramic substrates with different dielectric constant instead of single ceramic material from top to bottom layer. Inductive elements are designed in a low permittivity ceramic layer to reduce parasitic effects and loss, while capacitive elements are designed in a high pertimitivity ceramic layer for size reduction. The center frequency of the proposed filter is 1.842 GHz, and the performance of the filter is analyzed and compared with the conventional LTCC filter with single material in terms of integration density, size reduction, and performance improvement.

  • The correlation of surface morphology and magnetic property of NiFe thin films on Si(001) deposited by RF-magnetron sputter has been investigated, using AFM, XRD and MR measurements. During short field annealing for 15 min, there was no significant change in XRD patterns of NiFe thin films. However, the degree of surface roughness was changed with increasing annealing temperature. With variation of surface roughness, there was significant difference in MR characteristics of NiFe thin films. In the case of as-deposited NiFe thin films(T$\_$G/ = 150$^{\circ}C$) and UFA400 (T$\_$A/ = 400$^{\circ}C$) having smooth surface, good linearity of MR Curve was observed.

  • (M $n_{l-x}$M $g_{l-x}$)F $e_{2+x}$ $O_4$(x=0.0, 0.025, 0.1, 0.2) for NTC(negative temperature coefficient) thermistor was prepared by calcining at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and sintering at from 1100 to 130$0^{\circ}C$ with 5$0^{\circ}C$ intervals while x was varied from 0.0 to 0.025, 0.1 and 0.2. The best linear property was obtained in the based specimen sintered at 120$0^{\circ}C$ with x=0.1 composition. Thermistor parameter, $B_{25~85^{\circ}C}$, was in the range of 5000~ 7300 [K]. Temperature coefficient of resistance, $\alpha$$_{25^{\circ}C}$, was -5.2 %/$^{\circ}C$. The results showed the possibility that Mn-Ni-Co based thermistor could be substituted by the composition used in this study was confirmed.med.d.

  • This paper investigated that resonant frequencies of microstrip patch antenna were tunable when piezoelectric materials were used as the antenna substrates. The resonant frequencies of the microstrip antenna using the piezoelectric substrate, like PZT, LiNbO$_3$ were able to be controlled by applied DC voltage. The frequency variation of the air gap antenna was 29MHz when the voltage variation was 14[kV/cm], and the frequency variation of microstrip patch antenna made of LiNbO$_3$substrate was 29MHz when voltage variation was 6[kV/cm].
