A Study on the Impacts of SMEs' Environmental Sustainability and Innovation Orientation on Sustainability Performance through Social Integration and Technological Integration (중소기업의 환경적 지속가능성과 혁신지향성이 사회적통합 및 기술통합을 통해 지속가능성 성과에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze and provide implications for the impact on performance, focusing on Environmental Sustainability, innovation orientation, and integrated activities among the factors necessary for sustainable management of SMEs. 366 copies obtained from executives and representatives above the department head level of domestic manufacturing SMEs through professional research companies were used for the final analysis, and the research hypothesis was verified using SmartPLS 3.0 and SPSS 25. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Environmental Sustainability had a significant effect on social integration and technology integration, and innovation orientation had a significant effect on social integration and technology integration. In addition, it was confirmed that social integration and technology integration factors had a significant effect on the sustainability performance of SMEs. Based on these research results, theoretical, practical, and future research directions could be presented. According to the results of this study, it can be expected that manufacturing SMEs will be able to receive help in establishing strategies related to innovation orientation, social integration, and technology integration to achieve sustainable performance.

  • 인간의 생태계를 근본적으로 위협하고 있는 기후변화와 같은 환경오염 문제는 글로벌 경쟁시대의 기업 경영에 있어 강력한 제재요인 중 하나로 관심이 집중되고 있다. 국내에서도 이러한 환경문제가 중요 이슈로 부각되고 있는데, 특히 인류생존에 필수적인 자연환경을 기반으로 사업을 영위하는 농업분야는 더욱 깊은 연관성을 갖는다. 정부는 이러한 농업분야에 대하여 도시와 농촌 간 소득 불균형이나 농촌인구 노령화 등의 문제를 해결하고 미래 성장산업으로 발전시키고자 6차산업화 인증 제도를 시행 중에 있으며 앞으로의 성장이 기대된다. 또한 최근 기업의 환경을 포함하는 사회적 책임활동에 대한 관심이 높아지고 능동적으로 참여하려는 소비자의 특성 변화에 따라 6차산업화 인증을 받은 기업들도 성장하기 위해서는 기업 활동의 근간이 되는 소비자 니즈에 더욱 집중할 필요성이 제기되므로 기업의 새로운 성장 방안으로써 고객과 환경에 집중하고 사회적 가치를 창출해 나가야 할 것으로 추측된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 6차산업화 인증을 받은 기업을 대상으로 고객지향성과 경영성과 간 관계에서 환경지향성이 조절효과를 가지는 지를 밝히고자 하였으며, 연구 결과 고객지향성은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 이러한 관계 속에서 환경지향성은 정(+)의 조절효과를 가진다는 것을 실증하였다. 즉, 6차산업화 인증기업이 경영성과를 제고시키기 위해서는 소비자의 변화와 기업이 수행해야 할 사회적 책임을 명확히 인식하여, 소비자 니즈기반의 환경보존과 같은 사회적 가치를 창출하고 공유하려는 친환경 지향적인 새로운 혁신전략을 수립하고 실행해 나가야 할 것이며 이를 통해 지속적인 성장을 견인할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper examines the impact of the strategic leadership of CEOs after M&A on resistance to change and on perceived performance. Most M&A research has focused on the strategic, financial and economic aspects, while studies on leadership and employee behavior have been limited. CEO leadership is critical to a successful M&A. Recently, strategic leadership has been attracting more attention. Strategic leadership can be defined as a person's ability to anticipate, envision, maintain flexibility, think strategically and to work with others to initiate changes that will create a viable future for an organization. It can also reduce resistance and improve perceived performance. So this paper used empirical studies from the IT industry after M&A.

An Exploratory Study on the Business Failure Recovery Factors of Serial Entrepreneurs: Focusing on Small Business (연속 기업가의 사업 실패 회복요인에 관한 탐색적 연구: 소상공인을 중심으로)

  • Recently, as social distancing have been raised due to the re-spread of COVID-19, the number of serial entrepreneurs who are closing their business is rapidly increasing. Learning from failure is a source of success, but business failure can result in psychological and economic losses and negative emotions of the serial entrepreneur. At this point, it is very important to find a way to recover the negative emotions caused by business failures of serial entrepreneurs. Recently, a strategic model has emerged to deal with the negative emotions of grief caused by business failures of serial entrepreneurs. This study identified the recovery factors from the grief of business failures of serial entrepreneurs and analyzed Shepherd's(2003) three areas: loss orientation, restoration orientation, and dual process. To this end, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 small business serial entrepreneurs who challenged re-startup to identify the attributes of recovery factors that were not identified with quantitative data. As a result of the study, first, recovery factors were investigated in three areas: individual orientation, family orientation, and network orientation. It was found to help improve recovery in nine categories: self-esteem, persistence, personal competence, hobbies, self-confidence, family support, networks, religion, and social support. Second, recovery obstacle factors were investigated in three areas: psychological, economic, and environmental factors. Nine categories including family, health, social network, business partner, competitor, partner, fund, external environment, and government policy were found to persist negative emotions. Third, the emotional processing process for grief was investigated in three areas: loss orientation, restoration orientation, and dual process. Ten categories such as family, partner support, social member support, government support, hobbies, networks, change of business field, moving, third-party perspective, and meditation were confirmed to enhance rapid recovery in the emotional processing process for grief. The implications of this study are as follows. The process of recovering from the grief caused by business failures of serial entrepreneurs was attempted by a qualitative study. By extending the theory of Shepherd(2003), This study can be applied to help with recovery research. In addition, conceptual models and propositions for future empirical research were presented, which can be discussed in carious academic ways.

의류업체의 시장지향성, 판매원의 직무능력이 판매원 만족에 미치는 영향

  • 고객의 가치를 창조해나가기 위해 고객을 중시하 는 시장지향적인 기업문화가 확산되며, 이와 함께 판 매현장 최일선에서 고객을 직접 응대하며 기업의 시 장지향성을 실현하고 고객을 관리하는 패션판매원의 중요성이 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 시장지향 적인 기업문화와 판매원의 중요성이 높아짐에 따라 본 연구는 의류업체의 시장 지향성의 유형을 밝히고, 이러한 시장지향적 노력이 판매원의 능력과 함께 의류업체의 판매원의 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이들의 규명을 통해 궁극적으 로 기업의 성과에 기여하는 판매원 만족에 영향을 미치는 시장지향성의 유형과 판매원의 능력 유형을 밝혀 의류업체의 시장지향적 기업문화 실현에 기여 하고자 하였다. 설문지를 이용한 실증적인 조사연구방법이 사용 되었고, 연구대상은 서울과 분당에 위치한 L백화점의 여성복 의류매장에 근무하고 있는 삽마스터 600 명을 대상으로 하였다. 선행연구를 근거로 하고 의류 업체에 맞게 수정 보완한 질문지를 사용하여, 최종 분석된 설문지는 547부이다. 자료분석은 SPSS pc + 8.0올 이용하여 빈도분석, 백분율, 요인분석, 중다회 귀분석을 사용하였다. 수거된 질문지를 통계처리 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의류업체의 시장지향성을 요인분석한 결과 '시장정보의 획득'시장정보의 확산', '시장정보에 대 한 반응'의 세 요인으로 나눌 수 있었다. 시장정보를 획득하는 활동에는 매장의 소비자조사. POS시스템 의 활용. 삽마스터 회의에의 관심, 경쟁 브랜드 조사 그리고 판매사원을 통한 고객의 반응 조사 등의 내 용이 포함된다. 시장정보를 확산시키고자하는 활동 에는 매장에서 본사로 상황을 보고하고, 고껴의 시정 요구를 해결하고자 하는 노력. 판매원이 제시하는 소 비자동향의 반영, 그리고 삽마스터 회의 등씩 내용이 포함되며, 시장정보에 대한 반응은 풍부한 물량공급 과 히트상품의 지속적인 공급을 활동 내용으로 한다' 둘째, 의류업체의 시장지향성은 판매원의 만족도 에 정적인 영향을 나타냈다. 이는 의류업체가 시장정 보 수집에 적극적이고, 매장과 긴밀한 정보교류를 하 며, 수집된 정보를 적극 활용하여 상품개발이나 공급 등의 노력을 보일 때 판매원이 회사에 대해 강한 신 뢰감을 느껴 만족감을 느끼게 되고 이것이 바로 성 과로 이어질 수 있는 것을 의미한다. 셋째, 판매원의 회사전략 인지능력, 의류제조과정 인지능력. 고객서버스 능력, 자율적인 목표설정 능력. 고정고객관리능력이 클수록 직무자체와 인간관계에 대한 만족도가 높게 나타나 판매원의 직무한력은 판 매원의 만족에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 는 의류업체에서 능력 있는 판매원을 육성하거나 영 입하는데 힘써야 함을 시사하는 결과이다.

A Study on the Relationships among ICT Capability, Global Orientation and Export Marketing in Korean SMEs (중소기업의 ICT 역량, 글로벌지향성 및 수출마케팅의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • The utilization of Digital and Social Network has become be a key success factor in business operations as information technologies evolve rapidly. This study is to identity the relationship between ICT & digital utilization, global orientation and export marketing capability in Korean SMEs. Survey data of Korean SMEs in south regional areas was collected and analyzed for empirical hypothesis test by PLS structural equation method. The key findings are as follows. First, ICT utilization such as SNS, homepage and online portal does not impact directly on export marketing capability. It means that SMEs would not still take advantage of utilization of social network availability. Second, ICT utilization has positive influences on global market orientation and global network orientation. Finally, both global market orientation and network have significant impacts on export marketing capability. In conclusion, global orientation has full-mediation effects on relationship between ICT capability and global marketing. This study provides evidences and some practical insights that digital utilization have indirect influences on global marketing through global markets and network orientation in Korean SMEs. In information technology era, ICT utilization will play an important role in the process of SMEs' internationalization. Therefore, for sustainable growth and survival SMEs should manage and intensify ICT capability more strategically as one of core competence. The value of ICT capability in SMEs would be depended on their strategic perspectives toward digitalization. Additional empirical research about digital capability based on larger sample will be needed.

The mediating effect of the structure supply chain orientation and the customer-oriented supply chain performance on the path between the supply chain orientation and the export performance in manufacturing SMEs (중소 제조기업의 공급사슬지향성과 수출성과의 경로에서 구조적 공급사슬지향성과 고객중심 공급사슬 성과의 매개효과)

  • This study build an integrated model of a relationship between the supply chain orientation(SCO), the performance of a supply chain management(SCM) and an export performance in a domestic manufacturing SMEs. Twelves hypotheses including the mediating effect of the structural SCO and the customer-focused performance of SCM were analyzed on the 212 SMEs. In the result of the analysis, the strategic SCO has a positive effect on the both of the SCO and the operational performance of the SCM. The structural SCO has a positive effect on the performance of the SCM. Also, the operational performance of the SCM has a positive effect on the export performance of SMEs. In the mediating effect, the structural SCO has a fully mediating effect between the strategic SCO and the customer-focused performance of SCM. In addition, it has a partial mediating effect on the relationship of the strategic SCO and the operational performance of the SCM. The operational performance of the SCM has a fully mediating effect between the structural SCO and the customer-focused performance of SCM.

The Effects of Suppliers' CSR Reputation on B2B Salesperson Burnout (B2B기업의 CSR명성이 영업사원의 소진(burnout)에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, the importance of B2B CSR is being highlighted. Meanwhile, in B2B marketing, salesperson is widely recognized as a key resource influencing supplier firm performance. Therefore, the author paid attention to the role of supplier CSR reputation in customer-salesperson interaction process. So, this study collected dyadic data from 161 B2B purchasing managers and salespersons interacting with them. For customers, a supplier CSR reputation increased customer citizenship behavior and customer long-term orientation. With salespersons, they experienced less burnout due to interacting with customers having higher customer citizenship behavior and long-term orientation. Moreover, the results confirmed that a supplier CSR reputation lowered salespersons' emotional exhaustion through two serial-multiple mediation paths. This research verified that customers' perception and responses to supplier's CSR significantly influence B2B salesperson burnout.

  • The power tools is the product using working power generated by electric motor. Many companies are manufacturing numerous devices. Main features of tools are included various assembled products, small, light and solid and durable enough to match several standards. Fundamental requirements for the product is excellent performance and convenience for use. The quality of them depends on the equipped motor'(s) capability, accuracy of gear and endurance against worn-out. By adapting the state-of-the-art parts, they could be used in the place from home to heavy industry broadly. They can be classified electronic drills, grinders, saws and sanders families for the household appliances. For industrial tools, bore drill, grinder, polisher, and driver drill are classified as special and high priced group. This study presents the strategy of power tool development of BOSCH, BLACK&DECKER and KEYANG. Their products were analyzed in terms of product line and product mix concept. Then they are examined by design elements, such as color, shape and material for housing. As an analysis method, the image scale parameter and criteria were applied to each company's product.

  • This study empirically examines the relationship between the characteristics of a company and its performance through open innovation. It was intended to accept open innovation as a strategic means to overcome various situations in which companies faced and to understand it as a process of generating corporate performance. In various situations, companies must overcome environmental and internal factors. As an environmental factor, the dynamics of the market and the dynamics of technology allow for the adoption of open innovation, which in turn becomes a strategic tool for generating results. In addition, the internal environment of the company should strengthen the organization's capacity considering the characteristics of the company. In order to reinforce entrepreneurial orientation, openness of organizational culture, delegation and R & D capabilities, which are internal characteristics of the company, open innovation has a positive effect on the performance of the company. In overcoming the environment given to the company, open innovation was found to be an important medium for generating various results for the company. For this study, we conducted a structured questionnaire survey on 176 Korean companies. This study suggests that open innovation is strategically accepted and understood as a management strategic philosophy in order to overcome the environment in which a company is faced and generate results.
