시각효과에 의한 스펙터클 요소는 영상콘텐츠에서 관객의 몰입감을 향상시키고, 작품성을 높인다. 특히 재난영화는 스펙터클 요소를 주된 연출 방법의 하나로 사용하여 관객의 기대와 감동을 키운다. 또한 영화제작기법과 함께 스펙터클 장면을 표현하기 위한 CGI기술의 발전이 영화 장르의 확장과 학문적 발전을 이끌어왔다. 그러나 스펙터클 요소가 내러티브에 영향을 끼친 연구는 지금까지 매우 미비하다. 본 논문은 스펙터클 요소가 재난영화의 내러티브에 끼치는 연구를 분석하기 위해 2019년에 개봉된 재난 영화 <유랑지구>를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 스펙터클과 내러티브의 개념과 특징을 이론적 배경으로 제시하고, <유랑지구>의 스펙터클 요소 분석과 극중의 내러티브와의 관계를 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통해 스펙터클 요소를 활용해 영화의 내러티브 강화에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the narrative of VR disaster and safety Education introduced by disaster film narrative. VR(Virtual Reality) is be suitable technology for disaster and safety Education due to media characteristics as 'immersion', 'presence', 'interactivity', 'pleasure'. Disaster film narrative is able to be worth VR disaster and safety education as a variety of stories and educational effect. For this study, examine a theoretical study and a visiting research of 'Busan 119 Safety & Experience Center'. This study concludes that Firstly need to introduce catharsis effect, Secondly, build 'interactive narratives' that ensure active participation of users, Thirdly, introduce an 'adventure game' narrative element, Fourthly, introduce a hero-shaped narrative in which the user becomes a one-man hero, And lastly, need education as use user's multiple access and group experience learning. Therefore, This thesis is of academic value in that it suggest a desirable new direction of narrative in VR disaster and safety education.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the fire fighter image through disaster movies in Korea and other countries. From September 1 to 7, 2016, the movie search methods were carried out using movie title and key words via Wikipedia and various internet web sites from 1903 to 2016. The results included that the fire fighters had been considered as the precious person of volunteer activity regarding fire suppression, investigators, and self-sacrifice. Through the convergence and integration review of the disaster movie, this research suggested that the national based establishment of the welfare and safety system for the posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) and critical incident stress management(CISM) education program. This study will provide the basic data for the development of welfare and safety management for the fire fighters and let the people know the sacrifice of the fire fighters including the motto, "First in and the last out".

The Study on the Film, as the one of the main fields in the cultural studies, has the significant meaning in analyzing our society in that culture represents the realities of the present society. Film is the metaphorically expressed text and the specific space where a variety of discourses cross. The director's social consciousness projected in the film must have the ultimate significance through the dialectic relation between the intention of the director and the interpretation of the audience, not through the his one-sided message to the audience. This paper focuses on the analysis of the movie 'The Host', which is evaluated to show the meaningful social phenomena related to 'disaster' among the recent movies in Korea. The Host which is characteristic of 'the open structure' can be referred to as the film reflecting the imperial order prevalent in the colonial society.

지난달부터 상영 중인 영화 ‘Tomorrow(원제 : The Day After Tomorrow)’ 는 이상기후라는 색다른 주제를 다루고 있다. 기상 이변으로 지구 북반구 전체에 빙하기가 시작되어 인류가 최악의 위기를 접하게 된다는 설정의 블록버스터 재난 영화이다. 이상기후현상과 관련하여 가장 심각하게 인식되고 있는 것이 바로 지구온난화일 것이다. 지구온난화라는 말이 학술적으로 사용되기 시작한 지 그리 오래되지 않았음에도 불구하고 현재 대부분의 사람들이 이 용어에 친숙해 있는 것은 그만큼 이러한 지구온난화현상의 심각성에 대해 폭넓게 이해하고 있다는 것을 의미할 것이다.(중략)

This study uses a epidemic film that is being re-illuminated due to the recent appearance of COVID-19. In particular, The flu, Train to Busan, and Deranged are representative works of the "Epidemic Genre" in domestic disaster films, and their performance reports are different. Researcher set the pandemic film as one aspect of the genre film, and analyzed and compared three films in terms of three elements of the genre film: formula, convention, and iconography. An important element in the epidemic film was the improvement of reality through 'suspension of suspense' and 'ambiguity in the epidemic setting'. Lastly, Researcher hope the Korean film industry will develop more deeply through the "Epidemic Genre," a new genre of Korean films that has been spotlighted by the COVID-19 incident.

This paper finds a solution in the social context which cannot be explained thoroughly by well-timed release date, revival of comedy films, and the attraction of Lee Byeong-heon's comedy etc. while it throws question of how the film, Extreme Job captivated 16 million audience. The incredible hits of Extreme Job cannot be explained by analyzing the text alone. After this essay investigates a function and a role of comedy as a public sphere, it examines people's desires and wishes in the comedy and other genres since 2008 when the conservative government has seized power. Since 2008 a series of dark tone's action thriller, social problem film, and disaster film have emerged, these genres showed absence of public security, crisis of democracy and criticism against rulling class. On the other hand, hit comedy films have showed escapism such as weepie, nostalgia, and fantasy at the same time, generally. Although Veteran (2015) is not full-blown comedy, after this film's big success, "comic mode" has gradually revived. A light tone's films which are truer to genre rules has started representing the wishes of people toward social reforms and changes. Meanwhile, "Candlelight Protest" served as a momentum to recover the democracy which has been in crisis, but it could not lead changes in economic and daily lives. Exreme Job can be read as a question how we will survive since "Candlight Protest." The lives of detectives as self-employed workers who has taken over a fried chicken restaurant for going undercover are appearances of ordinary persons who must survive in the edless conpetition. Furthermore, this film shows a dream of a "great success myth" which becomes well-known as a famous restaurant and a self-management such as brand-naming and an exapansion of franchise business. We can read ganster's chicken franchises as a huge distribution industry which disturbs market system by delivering drugs secretly. While applauses that we give to the police having identities of self-employed workers which sweeps the ganster are giving support to oridinary neighborhood like us, they are also wishes of people who long for the restoration of publicness of police in the market which is becoming increasingly privatized today. A significance of this essay is to examine Extreme Job in terms of the geography of film genres and the revival of comic mode sicne 2008 at the macro level, and is to read the film in the perspective of the problems of economic and daily lives which has been still unsolved since "Candlelight Protest" at the micro level.

The negative influence by disaster on human's life could be so tremendous. I like to give attention to the disaster, considerable many cases, that disaster was used as stimulation or motivation for artist's creativity, especially in the film among various art activities. The reason I focus on disaster through art activities is disaster is closely related to human's daily life and also aesthetic consciousness. I like to look into the flood disasters' appearances described in the both films, and and the people's aesthetic consciousness expressed from the flood disasters. In the traditional education of the East. 'cultivation' has been used as the meaning of self education which develops mostly one's personality by doing self practice, and self insight meditation. And In the modern western education, cultivation has been identified as the meaning of unique mission, that each human being expresses one's own individuality, that is personality, progressively. I think 'the aesthetic ' already immanence in human's mind. Analysis for The beauty of Kant is also starts from special nature, delightfulness. The aesthetic doesn't appears in sight easely because it always exists in one's bottom of heart like mist. That's the reason we try to reach to the aesthetic through the medium, that's art. Human can achieve aesthetic cultivation which reaches to the aesthetic by having lot of events and experiences in the process.

This paper examines the aspects of disaster narrative, which makes the most of the concept of 'masterplot' as a narrative simulation to solve problems. By analyzing and comparing the remnants of 'masterplots' operating in the disaster narratives of Korea, the United States, and Japan, the differences between each country and social community problem recognition and resolution will be discussed. Disaster narrative is the most suitable genre for applying the 'masterplot' toward community problem solving in today's global risk society, and the problem-solving method has cognitive differences for each community. First, in the case of American disaster narratives, civilian experts' response to natural disasters tracks the changes of heroes in today's 'Marvel Comic Universe' (MCU). Compared to the past, the close relationship between heroism and nationalism has been reduced, but the state remains functional even if it is bolstered by the heroes' voluntary cooperation and reflection ability. On the other hand, in Korea's disaster narratives, the disappearance of the country and paralysis of the function are foregrounded. In order to fill the void, a new family narrative occurs, consisting of a righteous army or people abandoned by the state. Korea's disaster narratives are sensitive to changes after the disaster, and the nation's recovery never returns to normal after the disaster. Finally, Japan's disaster narratives are defensive and neurotic. A fully state-led bureaucratic system depicts an obsessive nationalism that seeks to control all disasters, or even counteracts anti-heroic individuals who reject voluntary sacrifices and even abandon disaster conditions This paper was able to diagnose the impact and value of a 'masterplot' today by comparing a series of 'masterplots' and their variations and uses. In a time when the understanding and utilization of 'masterplots' are becoming more and more important in today's world where Over-the top(OTT) services are being provided worldwide, this paper attempt could be a fragmentary model for the distribution and sharing of global stories.

21C, Multiplex Cinema Theater is made from movie industry developed and become a place where we can spend our free time and consuming. But, theater users, who are many and unspecified persons, are short of information on the Multiplex Cinema Theater, so that they may be injured or killed at the occurrence of fire accident. Particularly, Multiplex Cinema Theater is a place that underground space or top floor in highrise building had many people in theaters. However, this problem is difficult to solve that to protect human being and properties at the occurrence of fire accident in the Multiplex Cinema Theater, In order to overcome such problems, Multiplex Cinema Theater need fire protection solutions facilities concerning particulars to pay attention to the safety on a fire and evacuation. This study analysed Multiplex Cinema Theater concept and computer simulation for risk point.
