  • This study was conducted to explore the possibilities of educational use of social curation service, which is the third-generation social networking service called the "matters of interest type." To this end, the study selected nine college students, then have them use social curation service for about 50 days, and analyzed their responses by performing the focus group interview (FGI). As a result of the analysis, social curation service was found to have strong points, including collection of various types of information, classification and summary through creation of my own category, possibility of constant updating of matters of interest, and reduction of relative deprivation compared to existing social networking services. To solve these issues, constant promotion was needed. From the aspect of educational use, it was found that social curation service had possibilities for individuals and teams: For individuals, the service enabled voluntary search and use of information, configuration of my own data, and facilitation of self-directed learning. For teams, it enabled discussion and presentation activities through sharing.

  • For students studying early childhood education that leads the future, entrepreneurship education should be applicable to the educational field and targeting students studying early childhood education, a basic investigation on the recognition and demand for the necessity of entrepreneurship education should be preceded. Research that develop various entrepreneurial education programs is needed for early childhood education and students. Collected theoretical data through consideration of previous studies. and recognizing the necessity of entrepreneurship training, I produced an online survey for needs investigation of students studying early childhood education. I analyzed the data with 239 questionnaires collected. Research results, first, it is necessary to recognize the necessity of entrepreneurship education related to various career education in consideration of the career after graduation and a few years since they graduated. Second, it is necessary for a program that effectively and systematically develops various educational areas and contents in a mixed form of online and offline. Third, it is necessary to support customized programs in government agencies through the analysis of learner needs.

  • The "Figure Equation" chapter of current high school curriculum prevents students from relating the concept with what they studied in middle school Euclidean geometry. Woo(1998) concerns that the curriculum introduces the concept merely in algebraic ways without providing students with opportunities to relate it with their prior understanding of geometry, which is based on Euclidean one. In the present study, a sequence of GeoGebra-embedded-geometry lessons was designed so that students could be introduced to and solve problems of the Analytic Geometry by triggering their prior understanding of the Euclidean Geometry which they had learnt in middle school. The study contributes to the field of mathematics education by suggesting a sequence of geometry lessons where students could introduce to the coordinate geometry meaningfully and conceptually in high school.

  • Human resources required in society of knowledge and information are those who not only learn about knowledge and information but also apply those acquired sources to creatively trouble-shoot issues through independent or cooperative relationship. This study is to clarify that there is a positive effect from use of on-line game by youth as youth may have an opportunity to learn the competence required by present and future society of knowledge and information. Moreover, this study is to propose that positive competence may be acquired through on-line game and that the systematic device is required to show the classification of competence from game under characteristics of users. For upright settlement of gaming culture, game companies and the government are required to cooperate actively. Therefore, it is expected that the data from this study will be used as basis of studies of development of youth on-line game competence Quotient to grant upright gaming culture and youth on-line game competence Quotient.

  • Comparing to the other subject, the relationship among physics contents is strong from the perspective of knowledge order as grades go up. That is, The things already that students learned, are learning and will learn are closed related from grade to grade. We expect students to be proactive and creative in studying physics, which is the goal of 21th century, analyzing their knowledge structure based on the knowledge order through assessment. Especially, using computer system, we provide students with substantial feedback for the assessment as well as objective validity is increased along with speedy and exact process in a bid to help students' mathematical understanding grow. This paper seeks to analyze the data from assessment applying knowledge spaces of the scientifical gifted in selective examination and to applicate on development of evaluation method.

  • The purpose of this study is to classify appropriate content types according to the cyber education contents needed for employees of health and welfare and to develop contents based on specific instructional design strategies for each type. We divided the four types of content into instructor-led type contents, storytelling type contents, practice type contents, and case presentation type contents based on previous research and existing health and welfare cyber education contents. For each content type, a macro design strategies and a micro design strategies were derived, and contents were developed in accordance with the design strategies. Data were collected from 150 employees of health and welfare to analyze learning satisfaction. The average of learning satisfaction was 4.42. The results of this study will provide theoretical background and practical implications for the design and development of cyber education contents in health and welfare areas.

  • This study was attempted to identify the essence of the mixed practice experience that replaces the clinical practice of nursing students in the COVID-19 situation. From December 17, 2020 to December 31, 2020, eight nursing students were individually interviewed to collect data, and the data were analyzed by applying Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis methodology. The study's finding derived 6 categories. The specific categories were 'Accepting in anxiety', 'Autonomy at the fore', 'Straining non-face-to-face practice', 'Fill your knowledge', 'A variety of approaches to achieve goals', 'The best practice left with regret'. In the pendemic situation, nursing students accepted clinical practice substitution with anxiety and concern about mixed practice, and experienced a way to adapt to practice through self-directed learning and to achieve the goal of clinical practice.

  • Inspired by the socio-cultural perspective on teaching and learning science, we have explored how the teacher and students interact with one another and develop meanings in science classrooms. Data came from four 10th grade science classrooms, and video recordings and verbatim transcripts of the lessons were analyzed. Focus of the analysis was on the participation structures as well as the possibility of developing the space for hybrid meaning making. The participation structures identified were mainly teacher-led, and students rarely took an active stance to initiate an opportunity for generating new meanings. However, some participation structures had the potential to develop a new discursive space in which hybrid meaning can be constructed through negotiation between participants. Implications for future research and more desirable educational practices were discussed based on the result.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the change and characteristics of interactions in a heterogeneous group in scientific inquiry experiments. For this purpose, the process of students' interactions in small group activities were analyzed. This study focused on two, small heterogeneous groups of eighth graders. Students were involved in 13 scientific inquiry experiments for one year and students' interactions in each experiments were observed and recorded using video/audio and the data recorded were transcribed. The analysis of data was based on the method of making a note by looking and listening to the data repeatedly. Students' interactions in heterogeneous group changed toward that 3A (early formal operation student solved the problems by oneself and other students only listened to 3A student's explanation or copied the answer. The least able student was alienated from peers' interactions. In the meantime, new interactions of two middle level students were shaped. Educational implications of the progression of activities emphasizing interactions and the organization of grouping were drawn.

  • The purpose of this study the creative problem-solving of gifted children for elementary school science in order to improve and develop learning programs and STEAM projects by applying that effect would be to provide. To develop this STEAM program, we utilized the steps of the Project Learning method and the KOrea Foundation for the Advancement of science and Creativity(KOFAC) proposed STEAM program, learning the principles and criteria in configuration, the methodology. In order to verify the effectiveness of the developed STEAM program Elementary Science for gifted students with creative problemsolving Questionnaire were used. The program was developed a total of 18 classes, consists of first project to create a solar car, second project to create elastic car. The primary project was selected as one of the topics with the students and selected topics related to previous activities in accordance with articles examining the actual quest, consultation, representation activities in class and finishing with the deliverables and evaluation consisted of 12 classes. The second project is the first project based on a given problem to generate a deliverable by outlining a solution which consists of 6 classes. All of this project was composed by teachers and students to select a common topic on the subject of themselves through a process of problematization, the student-led science, technology, engineering and arts of the area so that the content can be made convergence. The results of the study indicate that this developed STEAM program has a positive effection creative problem solving in a gifted students.
