Speed Control of a Sinusoidal Type Brushless DC Motor using an Auto-tuning Method (자동동조 기법을 이용한 정현파형 BLDC 전동기의 속도제어)

  • The brushless DC motor is widely being used in unmanned factories for its easy maintenance and characteristics of controllability. In this paper, we designed a speed control servo system of a sinusoidal type bmshless DC motor which has high efficiency and usefulness in the industrial fields. This servo system is realized by a controller which is required for driving motors and a new auto-tuning PI control algorithm. The DSP(Digita1 Signal Processor) is adopted as a main controller and a sensor signal processor owing to its fast computational capability and suitable architecture. Also, the hardware PWnl(Pulse Width Modulation) current controller is implemented to pursue a speed command exactly. By experimental results, it is verified that the speed response is pursued fast after command value and the steady-state response is well converged for command value variation without overshoots.

  • Air Data Recording System (ADRS) is the flight data recorder for the SmartUAV development. ADRS of the low cost designed for the SmartUAV has been developed and tested through the ground test. ADRS is the reconstructing data acquisition system and can be programmed automation controller. This paper focuses on the design aspects of the hardware and software. The hardware aspects of the ADRS include details about the hardware configurations for the interfaces with the Digital Flight Control Computer(DFCC) and sensors, components modifications. The software section describes the ADRS Operating System(OS) and data flow for archived files. Finally, ADRS-based results of the SmartUAV that include the Iron-bird test, system interface test and ground test are presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 마이컴(PIC16C74)과 Tabu 탐색법 및 지능기법(퍼지 및 신경회로망)을 이용하여 고정밀 제어 및 강인한 제어 성능을 가지는 초소형 DC 모터용 지능형 제어기를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 마이컴(PIC16C74)를 이용한 지능형 제어 알고리즘을 개발하고, 초소형 DC 모터용 드라이브 회로 설계 및 제작하였다. 개발한 초소형 DC 모터 지능형 제어기는 디지털 자동 용접캐리지에 적용할 예정이며, 다른 응용 분야로써는 자동배수장치, 반도체 분야, 산업용 로봇 분야 및 조립자동화 시스템 분야 등에 사용되는 구동모터에 적용함으로서 정밀도와 외부의 잡음에 대한 영향을 경감시켜 안정성과 효율향상 및 에너지절약이 가능할 것이다.

  • Rapid prototyping (RP) technologies have been widely used to reduce the lead-time and development cost of new products. $VLM-_{ST}$ process has been developed to overcome the currently developed RP technologies such as a large building time, a high building cost, an additional post-processing and a large apparatus cost. $VLM-_{ST}$ process requires an additional human interaction due to the manual stacking and bonding. Hence, building time, building cost and the part quality are dependent on the skill of labor. A novel RP process, fully automated $VLM-_{ST}$ process ($VLM-_{ST}$), has been developed to improve building efficiency of the process and the human dependency of the part. The objective of this work is to propose a $VLM-_{ST}$ process and to develop an apparatus for implementation of the process. $VLM-_{ST}$ process and its apparatus have various technical novelties such as two step cutting using a rotating table, an automatic stacking method using two pilot holes and two reference shapes, a concept of automatic unit shape layer (AUSL), and an automatic bonding using the bonding roller and building magazine. In order to examine the efficiency and the applicability of the proposed process, various three-dimensional shapes, such as a piston, a human head shape and a human bust shape, were fabricated on the apparatus.

  • This paper proposed embedded application-specific microprocessor(YS-RDSP) whose structure has an additional DSP processor on chip. The YS-RDSP can execute maximum four instructions in parallel. To make program size shorter, 16-bit and 32-bit instruction lengths are supported in YS-RDSP. The YS-RDSP provides programmability. controllability, DSP processing ability, and includes eight-kilobyte on-chip ROM and eight-kilobyte RAM. System controller on the chip gives three power-down modes for low-power operation, and SLEEP instruction changes operation statue of CPU core and peripherals. YS-RDSP processor was implemented with Verilog HDL on top-down methodology, and it was improved and verified by cycle-based simulator written in C-language. The verified model was synthesized with 0.7um, 3.3V CMOS standard cell library, and the layout size was 10.7mm78.4mm which was implemented by using automatic P&R software.

  • The development of dedicated network management system is essential to meet the following conditions: the system must run the configuring and repair processing for the dedicated communication network, and can manage new next generation data dedicated communication network of various types. In general it is effective that the system is consisted of decentralized module to be accessible for business logic and datum to remote area. To solve these problems, a method is to use object-oriented design techniques. That is, it is to abstract reusability objects and make component module using the abstracted objects. In this paper, we propose a management system of dedicated communication network service using object-oriented design techniques which are UML(Unified Modeling Language).

Implementation of Smart Automatic Warehouse to Improve Space Utilization

  • In this paper, we propose a smart automated warehouse to maximize space utilization. Previous elevator-type automatic warehouses were designed with a maximum payload of 100kg on trays, which has the problem of extremely limiting the number of pallets that can be loaded within the space. In this paper, we design a smart warehouse that can maximize space utilization with a maximum vertical stiffness of 300kg. As a result of the performance evaluation of the implemented warehouse, the maximum payload was 500.6kg, which satisfied the original design and requirements, the lifting speed was 0.5m/s, the operating noise of the device was 67.1dB, the receiving and forwarding time of the pallet was 36.92sec, the deflection amount was 4mm, and excellent performance was confirmed in all evaluation items. In addition, the PLC control method, which designs the control UI and control panel separately, was integrated into the PC system to improve interoperability and maintainability with various process management systems. In the future, we plan to develop it into a fully automatic smart warehouse by linking IoT sensor-based logistics robots.

Nonlinear Dynamic Behavior of Temporary Rail Considering the Effect of Vibration (진동영향을 고려한 가시설 레일의 동적 거동 특성)

  • The object of this study is to propose a rate of vibration increase in the analysis of temporary rail non-fixed in the vertical direction and characterize the nonlinear dynamic behavior of temporary rail while considering longitudinal and latitudinal load, vibration and lifting. The rate of vibration increase is proposed through measurement of an actual structure that is largely affected by loading and vibration of the superstructure. Dynamic behavior was additionally characterized by the dynamic response resulting from nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis with vehicle loading, including the rate of vibration increase. As a result, the rate of vibration increase by the vibration of an Auto Bar Machine is determined as 7% and the maximum stress in the analysis of the nonlinear rail is increased 14.5% over that of linear rail, and temporary rail is shown to be very sensitive to the velocity of the superstructure.

  • Sea operation monitoring system is a system for the automatic ship operation that is used on the variety sea operations such as laying optical cables on the sea between the countries, laying cables on the seabed for a remote island, laying pipelines for the natural gas, and so forth. This system processes data which optained through setting up environment and input from several sensors, and display GPS information with ENC data. And this system processes not only data of root file about sea operation, but also realtime information from PDA of client wirelessly connected with AP on wireless LAN, In addition, this system can improve efficiency of the operation as a result of enabling free movement within valid range. This paper design and Implementation Monitoring system from above appropriate to the embedded system, and improve competitive power of ship through prevention of a ship accident, to keep minimizing operation loads and support both the automatic ship operation and the safety voyage.

Applicability estimation for cable assembling method of shield tunnel using field test construction (현장 조립 시험시공을 통한 쉴드터널 강연선 체결 기술의 적용성 평가)

  • In this study, the new segment assembling method using cable tensible force was developed to improve the problem of bolt assembling method of shield tunnel. In the field test construction, cable assembling method reduced the assembling time of segment in comparison with bolt assembling method because of guide role of segment shear-key. In the result of measuring the necessary time for segment assembling process, it took 420sec to assemble one segment in bolt method and 400sec to assemble one segment in cable method, but in case of using the cable automatic feeder, it could reduce the necessary time as 60sec in comparison with bolt assembling method. The cable automatic system modeling using BIM, that connected shield TBM also will be utilized in the area of design TBM, excavation plan, method process understanding, construction management and so on.
