Recently, car sharing has shown the most remarkable growth among sharing economy services. In the process of analyzing the intention to reuse the car sharing service, this study tried to reflect the unique characteristics of the service, which consists of non-face-to-face self-service, such as reservation, approval, handover, inspection, and return of the vehicle. Specifically, in addition to the perceived benefits and the perceived risks, we considered 'information quality' as a platform characteristic and 'self-efficacy' as a personal characteristic. To collect data, an online survey was conducted on adults with experience in car sharing, and a total of 320 responses were used for analysis. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model, it was found that information quality and self-efficacy increased the perceived benefits of services, and the higher the information quality, the higher the self-efficacy. On the other hand, the role of information quality and self-efficacy in lowering perceived risks was insignificant, and the intention to reuse services was more affected by perceived benefits than perceived risks. As a result of further analysis using Process Macro, it was found that the effect of self-efficacy on reuse intention was mediated by perceived benefits. It was analyzed that the indirect effects of information quality on reuse intention through perceived benefits or self-efficacy were all significant. These results suggest that providing timely, sufficient, and easy-to-understand information required by users on the platform improves self-efficacy and increases service reuse intention. In order to increase the number of service users, it is important for service providers not only to provide promotional activities such as offering attractive prices, but also to provide high-quality information so that users can use it more easily.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of perceived self-efficacy in the effects of informal communication and mindfulness practice on non-class-related behavior in the Team-Based Learning(TBL) using smartwork tool. To do this, total of 80, college students participated in this survey. The results of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, informal communication do not have a direct effect on non-class-related behavior but perceived self-efficacy mediates the effect of informal communication. Second, mindfulness practice do not have a direct effect on non-class-related behavior but perceived self-efficacy mediates the effect of mindfulness practice. Third, informal communication and mindfulness practice have positive effect on perceived self-efficacy. In this study, we suggested the importance of perceived self-efficacy in establishing the TBL policy using smartwork tool.
This is a descriptive research study aimed to investigate the relationship between health promoting behaviors, and some factors such as family function, health perception, and self - efficacy of nursing college students and identify the factors affecting health promoting behaviors. Results showed that family function, health perception, and self - efficacy were correlated with health promoting behaviors. Regression analysis showed that family function, health perception, and self - efficacy seemed to explain 37.7% of health promoting behaviors. Thus, as family function, health perception, and self-efficacy are important factors that affect health promoting behaviors of nursing college students, it is necessary to develop a health education program considering family function, health perception, and self-efficacy to promote desirable health promoting behaviors. In the follow-up study, it is necessary to expand the study subjects and the results of such studies should be applied to the development of programs aimed at promoting the health of nursing college students, and further studies should be conducted to verify the effectiveness of those programs.
This study aims to prove the mediating effect of emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the relationship between covert narcissism on the relation addiction. The researchers surveyed college students for about 3 weeks through a questionnaire on college campus or with the help of their colleagues and professors. The subjects were 362 students. SPSS, AMOS and Mplus were used for statistical analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation analysis. The conclusions are as follows : First, emotion dysregulation, relation addiction and covert narcissism showed positive correlation and covert narcissism, emotion dysregulation, relation addiction and perceived social support showed a significant negative correlation. Second, it was found that after investigating the mediation effect of emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction, emotion dysregulation turned out to have a significant mediating effect while perceived social support did not. Third, dual mediating effect was significant in emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction. These findings proved that covert narcissism, emotion dysregulation, perceived social support are variables that effect relation addiction, and also clarified that emotion dysregulation is a strong mediating variable in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction. Finally, when counseling a client with the same tendency as covert narcissism, it gives an opportunity to be aware of the emotional problem and an opportunity to positively perceive its own social resources, so as not to reach interpersonal problems such as relationship addiction pointed out the need for an approach.
The purpose of this study was to verify whether there are any differences in the level of exercise self-efficacy and perceived health status according to the stage of change for exercise behaviors in older adults. The subjects consisted of 231 older adults (91 male, 140 female) by convenience sampling residing in city D. The collected dates were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Tukey HSD, and simple regression analysis by SPSS WIN 21.0 program. Moreover, all statistical significance level was set at a=.05. The study results were as follows: Analysis of variance showed that exercise self-efficacy showed significant differences according to the stage of change for exercise behaviors, and as a result of the posthoc analysis, it was found that as the stage became higher, their exercise self-efficacy became higher as well. Perceived health status showed significant differences according to the stage of change for exercise behaviors, and as a result of the posthoc analysis, it was found that as the stage became higher, their perceived health status became higher as well. Analysis of variance showed that exercise self-efficacy and perceived health status were significantly associated with the stages of exercise behavior change. This study identified that exercise self-efficacy and perceived health status were significant variables to explain a possible relationship with exercise stages of older adults. This study provides new information to influence the development of the better health promotion and exercise intervention for older adults in the community.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of perceptions of organizational politics(i.e., POPs) and leader-member exchange(i.e., LMX) on the perceived work performance. Also, this paper investigates the moderating effect of LMX on the relationship between POPs and work performance. Particularly, this study is to expand on prior research by investigating the three-way interaction effect of LMX and self-efficacy. The summary of results based on a sample of 280 employees who were working in various organizations in KOREA is following. First, POPs were not significantly related to perceived work performance. Second, LMX was positively and significantly related to perceived work performance. Third, LMX did not moderate the negative relationship between POPs and perceived work performance. Finally, our results showed that for individuals with a high level of self-efficacy, LMX moderates the negative relationship between POPs and perceived work performance. That is, for individuals with a high level of self-efficacy, POPs were positively related to work performance under high LMX(in-group), but were negatively related to work performance under low LMX(out-group). Theoretical and practical implications of our findings as well as directions for future research are provided.
The current study examined the effects of the type and context of self-talk on task performance, task-post emotion, and perceived stress. Participants were 100 undergraduates in Busan. Participants were randomly assigned to one of four the experimental groups that were set by combining the narrative condition (the first-person versus non-first-person) to the content condition (self-reinforcing versus self-critic) to measure their pre and post intervention responses. For the analysis, we performed two-ways analysis of variance using the difference value of dependent variables comparing the pre and post-intervention. As a result of the analysis, we found that content condition of self-talk significantly influenced task performance, task-related confidence, emotion response, and perceived stress. That is, the self-reinforcement self-talk group showed better performance, higher task-related confidence, more positive emotion, lower negative emotion and less perceived stress than the self-critic self-talk group. The contents conditions of self-talk interacted with the narrative condition of self-talk to predict perceived stress, indicating that only non-first person/self-reinforceing self-talk group showed reduced levels of perceived stress.
The purpose of this study was to provide instructional implications for synchronous online learning at universities by examining variables that influence the outcome of synchronous online learning and investigating the relationships of the variables. To achieve the purpose, self-regulated learning, social presence, learning engagement and perceived academic achievement were measured by 123 university students who had taken synchronous online learning for spring semester in 2020. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS and SPSS PROCESS macro. The results were as follows. First, self-regulated learning and learning engagement significantly predicted perceived academic achievement while social presence did not. Second, self-regulated learning had a direct effect on perceived academic achievement and had an indirect effect on perceived academic achievement through learning engagement. Third, social presence did not have a direct effect on perceived academic achievement, but had an indirect effect on perceived academic achievement through learning engagement. The implications based on the results were suggested.
The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effect of self-efficiency on the relationship between grit, health perception and health promotion behaviors of nurses and to provide baseline data to improve health promotion. A structured questionnaire survey was carried on 242 nurses at an university hospital in D-city. The strong and positive effects of grit, self-efficiency and health perception on health promotion behaviors were found. Self-effica -cy had a perfect mediating effection the effects of grit on health promotion behavior and a partial mediating effect on the effects of health perception on health promotion behavior. The study results suggest the need for various intervention programs based on multiple factors associated with grit, health perception and self-efficiency in order to enhance health promotion behaviors of nurses.
The present study examines the role of subjectively perceived factors of the attitude toward web shopping in forming an intention to use a web shopping intention. An integrative research model is presented and tested empirically. It includes the following three aspects of belief in Davis' TAM: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment. Specially, internet self-efficacy, or the belief in one's capabilities to organize and execute courses of Internet actions required to produce given attainments, is a potentially important factor in efforts to gain more favorable attitude toward web shopping close the digital divide that separates experienced Internet users from novices. Prior research on Internet self-efficacy has been limited to examining specific task performance and narrow behavioral domains rather than overall attainments in relation to general Internet use, and has not yielded evidence of reliability and construct validity. Survey data were collected to develop a reliable operational measure of Internet self-efficacy and to examine its construct validity. Also, much previous research has established that perceived ease of use is an important factor influencing user acceptance and usage behavior of information technologies. However, very little research has been conducted to understand how that perception forms and changes over time. The present study examines that higher internet self-efficacy is more getting favorable web shopping attitude, and web shopping intention as more as usefulness, enjoyment through the internet.
