Bit patterned media (BPM) storage is one of the promising technologies to overcome the limitations of the conventional magnetic recording. However, there are some problems in a high areal density BPM storage, inter-track interference, inter-symbol interference and noise which are severely degrading performance of the system with reducing the bit error rate. In this paper, we present a simple iterative two-dimensional equalizer based on the contraction mapping theorem to mitigate these adverse effects. Furthermore, we examine that the channel characteristics of the proposed two-dimensional equalizer satisfies the convergence conditions. In the simulation we demonstrate the bit separation characteristics of the one-dimensional equalizer and the two-dimensional equalizer and evaluate the BER performance of the proposed equalizer comparing with the conventional equalizers. According to the results of experiments, the proposed equalizer is an promising equalizer with maintaining proper complexity for a high areal density BPM storage.

Jet engine modulation(JEM) is a technique used to identify the jet engine type from the radar target signature modulated by periodic rotation of the jet engine mounted on the aircraft target. As a new approach of JEM, this paper proposes an automatic algorithm for extracting the jet engine information. First, the rotation period of the jet engine is yielded from auto-correlation of the JEM signal preprocessed by complex empirical mode decomposition(CEMD). Then, the final blade number is estimated by introducing the DM(Divisor-Multiplier) rule and the 'Scoring' concept into JEM spectral analysis. Application results of the simulated and measured JEM signals demonstrated that the proposed algorithm is effective in accurate and automatic extraction of the jet engine information.

흔히 진흙으로 대표되는 점착성 유사는 모래와 같은 비점착성 유사와 달리 응집 현상으로 인해 지속적으로 유사 입자의 크기가 변화한다. 응집 현상은 점착성 유사 입자의 응집 과정과 파괴과정으로 구성된다. 응집 현상 중 응집 과정은 유사 입자 간의 충돌로 인해 발생하는 것으로 이해되며, 충돌을 야기하는 메커니즘으로는 브라운 운동(Brownian Motion), 차등침강(Differential Settling), 난류 전단 (Turbulent Flow Shear)이 있다. 파괴 과정은 입자간 충돌로 인해 깨지는 것이 아닌 난류 전단(Turbulent Shear)로 인한 덩어리 분리(Massive Splitting)가 발생하는 것으로 이해한다. 이러한 유체의 특성, 흐름 특성 (난류 거동) 뿐만 아니라 유사 입자의 특성 모두의 영향을 받으며 지속적인 응집 현상을 겪는 점착성 유사 입자들은 하나의 커다란 덩어리인 플럭(Floc)을 형성한다. 형성된 플럭의 구조는 프랙탈 기하학을 따르는 것으로 이해된다. 따라서 플럭의 구조는 자기 유사성을 띠며, 플럭의 밀도는 형성된 플럭 크기의 함수가 된다. 플럭의 크기가 증가할수록 플럭의 프랙탈 차원이 감소하며, 플럭의 밀도는 감소한다. 많은 이전의 연구에서 플럭의 침강 속도를 농도에 따른 함수로 가정하고 경험식을 이용하여 산정하나, 유사 입자의 침강 속도는 크기와 밀도의 함수임을 Stokes Law를 통해 생각해 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 응집 현상의 결과물로 형성된 응집물의 크기와 밀도를 각각 산정하고, Stokes Law를 이용하여 침강 속도와 응집물 크기의 관계에 대한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 보다 심도 있는 연구를 위해서는 응집 현상을 야기하는 메커니즘에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 간소화된 응집 모형으로부터 얻어진 플럭 크기를 이용하여 프랙탈 차원, 플럭의 밀도를 산정한다. 형성된 응집물의 크기와 침강 속도의 관계에 대한 이해를 통해 보다 정확한 플럭의 침강 속도 산정이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the process for the elderly with palsy to solve conflicts with the elderly with dementia in day care center through the narrative therapy group work. For this, the researcher enacted the Narrative therapy group work on the 12 elderly with palsy for seven sessions, and analysed these data through qualitative case study method. The results of this study are as follows. First, the elderly with palsy became to recognize the elderly with dementia as 'the people suffering from dementia' rather than 'the problem', and tried to care them rather than to blame. Second, they became to recognize themselves as 'component people' rather than 'the victim'. Third, they grew intimate and collaborated with themselves. Fourth, they participated actively in day care center. It was discussed connection between these changes and narrative therapy skills, such as to separate problem from people, to respect client as expert for one's problem, to seek unique outcome. The recommendation is suggested that it is important to enlarge choice to participate for long-term care service consumer and to apply narrative therapy on the elderly.

Movie captured audience's whole sense organs to the screen which is made up of visual story-telling decorated by color, sound, and smell. The audience rediscovered native emotions(pleasure, fear, terror) suppressed and left in the compressed world of space and time, that is to say a movie world separated from the real world, by being immersed in the movie story. This study revealed audience's feelings of pleasure and fear by analyzing the movie . First of all, the pleasure would be discussed in terms of Nietzsche's "the will to power." Nietzsche defined something to breathe, move, and will as being alive, and he insisted that its power to life is 'the will to power.' Human beings wish to have power and want to increase it: pleasure, the real motivation of human behaviors and phenomena. The movie well revealed the pleasure by showing nonperson's challenge and victory against social rulers. Second, the fear and terror of the audience will be discussed in terms of in Lacan's psychoanalysis. Lacan extended Freud's id, ego, and superego into the worlds of reality, imagine, and symbol, and suggested a father in symbol world among those worlds. He suggested as a basic and connecting instrument of the socialization just like Signifi$\acute{e}$ and Signifiant, Saussure' basic linguistic structure in "Cours de lingustique g$\acute{e}$n$\acute{e}$rale"(1916). Because father is the symbol and the metaphor of law, the absence of him and resistance against him means obstacles of social stabilization. Finally this paper will also discuss that the fear from the absence of law and the pleasure provoked by self-preserving instincts, that is to say natural feelings, are connected to values of progressivism and conservatism.

최근 도로 네트워크 환경에서 이동 객체 위치 정보를 관리하고 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 예측하는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템의 필요성이 나날이 증가되고 있다. 이동 객체위치 예측 시스템은 교통 관제 및 다양한 응급 상황 시 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 신속히 예측하기 위해 사용되며, 보다 편리한 위치 기반 서비스의 제공을 가능하게 해준다. 이러한 시스템을 위한 대부분의 미래 인덱싱 기법은 일반적으로 이동 객체의 미래 위치 예측을 위해 과거 이동 궤적을 이용하고 있다. 그러나, 수많은 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적 관리가 어렵고, 실시간으로 변화하는 이동 객체의 미래 궤적을 반영하기 위한 방대한 미래 인덱스의 갱신 요청으로 인해 인덱스 유지 비용이 증가하여 미래 위치 질의 요청에 대한 신속한 처리 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템에서 방대한 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적으로부터 효율적으로 미래 위치를 예측하기 위해 셀 기반의 미래 인덱싱 방법인 PFCT-Tree(Probability Future Cell Trajectory-Tree)를 제시한다. PFCT-Tree는 방대한 과거 이동 궤적을 셀 단위로 재구성하여 인덱스 크기를 줄이고, 셀 내부 경험치를 기반으로 장기간 질의 시 빠른 미래 위치를 예측할 수 있다. 또한 신속한 미래 이동 궤적의 갱신 속도를 향상시키기 위해 미래 시간을 미래 궤적과 분리하여 인덱싱함으로써 위치 예측 오류로 인한 미래 인덱스 갱신 비용을 최소화 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 도로 네트워크 환경에서 PFCT-Tree가 기존 인덱싱 기법들보다 갱신 및 검색 성능이 우수함도 입증하였다.ential oil (Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Petigrain)은 농도 의존적으로 ROS 생성을 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 citrus essential oil은 MSH에 의한 melanin 생성을 억제하는 것으로 보아 미백제로서의 개발 가능성이 있는 것으로 사료된다.가 사용될 수 있음을 제시한다.찍 발견되어 크기는 작았으며, 육안적으로 폴립의 Yamada 형태의 분류는 II, III의 형태를 띠고 있었다.EX>로 한반도 후기 백악기의 고지자기극$(Lat./Long.=70.9^{\circ}N/215.4^{\circ}E,\;A_{95}=5.3^{\circ})$의 위치와 유사하므로 암석의 생성 시기는 후기 백악기로 판단하였다. 한편 함평분지에 분포하는 백악기 화산암류에서는 한 개의 정자화 방향과 두 개의 역자화 방향이 확인되었다. 이들 특성잔류자화 방향은 백악기 화산암 형성 당시 암석에 기록된 성분으로써 당시 지구자기장의 상태를 기록한 것으로 해석하였으며, 이중 정자화 방향을 함평분지 화산암의 대표 방향으로 채택하였다 함평분지 화산암의 고지자기 극의 위치는 정자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=70.2^{\circ}N/199.5^{\circ}E,\;(K=18.1,\;A_{95}=9.6^{\circ})$ 이며 역자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=65.5^{\circ}S/251.3^{\circ}E,\;(K=7.1,\;A_{95}=20.7^{\circ})$이다. 이중 정자극의 위치는 한반도의 후기 백악기극의 위치와 통계적으로 동일한 것으로 나타나 함평분지 화산암

This paper proposes a moving object extraction method using the contrast map and salient points. In order to make the contrast map, we generate three-feature maps such as luminance map, color map and directional map and extract salient points from an image. By using these features, we can decide the Attention Window(AW) location easily The purpose of the AW is to remove the useless regions in the image such as background as well as to reduce the amount of image processing. To create the exact location and flexible size of the AW, we use motion feature instead of pre-assumptions or heuristic parameters. After determining of the AW, we find the difference of edge to inner area from the AW. Then, we can extract horizontal candidate region and vortical candidate region. After finding both horizontal and vertical candidates, intersection regions through logical AND operation are further processed by morphological operations. The proposed algorithm has been applied to many video sequences which have static background like surveillance type of video sequences. The moving object was quite well segmented with accurate boundaries.

In order to analyze the formation mechanism of iron oxide nanoparticles, we measured the heat flow of $Fe(OL)_3$ precursor with temperature, and TEM images and AC susceptibility of aliquots samples sequentially taken from the reaction solution, respectively. The thermal decomposition of two OL-chain from $Fe(OL)_3$ produced the Fe-OL monomer, which were contributed to the formation of iron oxide nanoparticles. In the initial stage of nanoparticles formation, the small iron oxide nanoparticles had ${\gamma}-Fe_2O_3$ structure. However, as the iron oxide nanoparticles were rapidly growth, the iron oxide nanoparticles showed ${\gamma}-Fe_2O_3$-FeO core-shell structure which the FeO layer was formed on the surface of ${\gamma}-Fe_2O_3$ nanoparticles by insufficient oxygen supply from the reaction solution. These nanoparticles were transformed to $Fe_3O_4$ structure by oxidation during long aging time at high temperature. Finally, the $Fe_3O_4$ nanoparticles with high saturation magnetization and stable in the air could be easily synthesized by the thermal decomposition method.

Spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effect is known to be the physical origin for various exotic magnetic phenomena in the low-dimensional systems. Recently, SOC also draws lots of attention in the study on magnetically doped thermoelectric alloys to determine their properties as the thermoelectric application as well as the topological insulator via the exact electronic structures determination near the Fermi level. In this research, aiming to investigate the spin-orbit coupling effect on the structural properties such as the lattice constants and the bulk modulus of the most widely investigated thermoelectric host material, $Bi_2Te_3$, we carried out the first-principles electronic structure calculation using the all-electron FLAPW (full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave) method. Employing both the local density approximation (LDA) and the generalized gradient approximation (GGA), the structural optimization is achieved by varying the in-plane lattice constant fixing the perpendicular lattice constant and vice versa, to find that the SOC effect increases the equilibrium lattices slightly in both directions while it markedly reduces the bulk modulus value implying the strong orientational dependence, which are attributed to the material's intrinsic structural anisotropy.

Mystic experience such as seeing an vision could be explained as experiencing elusive and mysterious unique existence in religious way. In depth psychology, which is based on unconsciousness like analytical psychology, this could be explained as a something that gives a meaning of life and purpose through discovering health and healing. The importance of primodial experience in depth psychology is that it can possibly discover the base of present acts. In Christian theology, symbolic mystery and truth of religious experience that appear in Christian tradition have interest on human situation. These two fields' approach methods are different, but both show common interest on unique experience which can be said properly as raw experience. Various visions appear in many parts of the Bible. Among many visions, the book of Zechariah, one of the 12 Prophets, describes rich and diverse 8 visions through chapter 1 to chapter 8. However, due to the Genre of revelation, it lacks historicity, and because of vagueness and symbolic meanings, its visions are hard to understand and interpret. Theologically, visions of Zechariah show communality of Israelites by reconstructing kingdom of Judah and church in a way of historical circumstances. Though, these visions could deliver the meaning of an ethnical aspect as reporting continuous conversation between the God and humans. Furthermore, it could mean a personal aspect of the Prophet Zechariah as reaching for a opportunity of new change. Moreover, those who read these visions could try to interpret the meanings of various images which represent meeting mysterious existences. Therefore, the Author would concentrate on the fact that 8 visions in the book of Zechariah, which has not been received much attention to neither Christians nor non-believers, develop in chiastic structure (stylistic contrast), so that tries to interpret the first, second, seventh, and the eighth visions in analytic psychology way. In visions of Zechariah, excepting the 4th vision which probably was inserted later, rest of 7 visions each shows the stage of the hours of darkness. 1st to 3rd visions represent evening, 5th vision represents deep in the night, and 6th to 8th visions represent dawn to morning. Moreover, since structure of visions arranged in chiastic way, horse appears in 1st and 8th vision, measuring rope and measure tools are used as main motif in 2nd and 7th vision. However, same motifs could have different symbolic meanings and roles as visions are formed in different situations and conditions. In the first vision, angels who ride horses look around the world and report it is calm and peaceful. Concerning the political situation back in the day, the world being calm and peaceful in the beginning of evening means that it is not ready to change to a whole new world. Psychologically, if there is no readiness to adopt new world, it means being hopeless. It is sending you a message to get out of those kinds of situation. Moreover, appearance of four angels who rode red, brown, and white horses to a myrtus tree in the valley means that it is time for individuation and it is right and good timing for changing. In second vision, you will be able to see that Israelites had long years being caught in the shadows by foreign country, and long years succumbed by the strength of four horns, which shows the progress of renewing strength and being oneness with oneself from overwhelmed situation by paternity. In seventh vision, meaning of two women bringing the godness of the sky, who were locked up in a rice basket, back to the temple in Babylon is going towards in a level of Self-actualization by separating one's ego captured excessively by matherhood and putting back to a place where it was before. In eighth vision, chariots pulled by horses are scattered far and wide, and horses which went to north had rest in the land of North. After horses and chariots are seen between two mountains of bronze with the image of Self and anima/animus. These images can be explained as the changing progress are almost completed and the God and human, in other words Self and ego are being united and is now time for rest. All of 8 visions contains the conversation between angel and Zechariah who willing to know the meaning of visions. Zechariah asks the angel actively about the meaning of visions because of his wish for Israelites to return home and rebuild church. Conversation among the God, Zechariah, who asks questions until he knows everything, an Angel, who gives answer to given questions, is conversation between ego and anima/animus. Eventually, it is a conversation between Self and ego.
