Study on International Bases for Improving International Competitiveness of Korean ICT Industries (국내 SW기업의 해외진출을 지원하기 위한 해외거점 정책 연구)

  • The research tries to find appropriate nations and cities of the international supporting centers according to Korean firms' requests. It also tries to find out proper designs of governance structure and strategic and operational control system of the center. Two methods are used to find out Korean firms' requests. One is the expert interviews and the other is the questionnaire survey. The email survey is sent to 120 firms of IT service, package software, telecom facilities and broadcasting equipment industries. Their opinions in addition to interview results are used as a basis of selecting potential regions for new centers and types of their services. According to survey results, southeast asia is the most preferred region and Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are selected as potential nations for a location of the center in southeast asia. However, the survey result is not fully agreed with the interviewees' opinions. The interviewees tell that there are not much demand in nations with low purchasing power and low IT industry level. That is, Indonesia and Vietnam are not proper places for the centers.

  • This study tried to diagnose the status of overseas field training and overseas employment through questionnaire surveys, FGI, and success case analysis, and to find implications for the educational direction that universities should take for the efficient operation of overseas employment programs. Specifically, surveys and interviews were conducted for participating students to diagnose the problems of current field training and overseas employment programs, and systematize the derived requirements to extract desirable field training and overseas employment program operation guidelines, and students The purpose of this study was to derive improvement plans and policy proposals by analyzing the causes that affect the satisfaction of employees' on-the-job training and overseas employment.

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관과 이용자 간 커뮤니케이션 채널인 민원을 청원/건의와 불만표현의 두 가지 성격을 지닌 행위로 이해하고, 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 질적방법론에 기반하여 6명의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 그 결과 민원에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 물리적 조건, 서비스 적절성, 장서 적절성, 소통빈도 및 방향성등을 도출하였다. 이러한 민원의 기능적, 관계 구조적 요인의 도출을 통해 도서관민원의 만족도 제고를 위한 기능개선 도구로서 뿐만 아니라, 도서관과 이용자간의 양방향 소통채널의 하나로 도서관에 대한 인식 제고의 도구로서의 가능성을 논의하였다.

A Research on the Subjectivity of the Female University Students Regarding the Management of the Health of the Skin: An Application of Q-methodology (여대생의 피부건강관리에 대한 주관성 연구 : Q 방법론적 접근)

  • This research was attempted to understand the types of the subjectivities possessed by the individuals regarding the management of the health of the skin on the part of the female university students by applying the Q-methodology and to comparatively analyze the special features. Regarding the subjects of the research, 41 female university students at one university were made into the P-samples. And, by selecting 34 Q-samples from the total of 141 Q-populations, the forced distribution took place in terms of the 9-points scale. The subjects were interviewed, and the contents regarding interviews were recorded. The data were analyzed with the QUANL program. As a result of the research, the 4 types were discovered. They appeared as 'the professional knowledge pursuing type', who consider the expertise regarding the skin management important, 'the nature-oriented type', who express the importance of the skin rather than the functional, cosmetic products, 'the active self- management type', who pursue the highly-functional cosmetic products and the active skin management, and 'the self-ostentation type', who consider the external parts, rather than the health, important. As a result, based on the results of this research, the special characteristics by each type regarding the skin health management of the female university students must be understood, and a differentiated educational method or approach method for the skin health management resulting this must be considered.

A Subjectivity Study on Nonverbal Communication Cues in Facebook (온라인에서의 비언어적 요소에 대한 주관성 연구: 페이스북을 중심으로)

  • Non-verbal communication cues seem to be increasingly used in social media, such as emoticon, like, follow, etc. A Q methodology study is conducted to explore this phenomenon. Via a series of focus group activities with Facebook heavy users, 34 Q statements concerning online non-verbal communication cues are derived. Different Facebook users conduct Q sorts of these statements based on frequent use basis. Analysis of Q sort result reveals three distinctive usage patterns of non-verbal communication cues in Facebook: 'safe distance keeping' type, 'observing hermit' type and 'fully dedicated aficionado' type. Discussions are made concerning different components of non-verbal communication cues utilized in these groups, respectively, which can provide a theoretical basis for social media design.

  • This study is concerned with the introduction and operation of smart factories. In order to accomplish the purpose of research, we made a standard system of smart factory and investigated the recognition system. This study was conducted as a grounded theory methodology among qualitative research methodologies. The results of the study are the necessity of a tool to appropriately evaluate the new manufacturing process management system and related management activities to achieve the successful introduction of smart factories and the management performance of the organization. In order to successfully implement the Smart Factory Certification System, it is necessary to establish a certification organization system, enact relevant laws and amendments, operate government-led pilot projects, train professional workers, and establish incentive policies.

  • The purpose of the study is to explore the experience of bullying in the workplace of nurses. The study period was April 1 2013 to July 5 2013. The subjects were 14 nurses who had experienced bullying at their workplace. Data were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. With data analysis, 139 concepts, 35 subcategories, and 13 categories were generated. "Disregard of presence by negatively learned inertia" was the central phenomenon for workplace bullying of nurses, and the core category was 'struggle to regain oneself'. This study will contribute to a change in individual and organizational awareness of bullying in the workplace by presenting a dynamic process of nurses experiencing bullying. Research is required on identifying workplace bullying status, monitoring methods and program development to reduce workplace bullying of nurses.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to exploration the experience of turnover new graduate nurses within one year. Methods: Experiential data were collected from 5 experienced nurses through in-depth interviews. The main question was "Could you describe your experience of your turnover?". Qualitative data from the field and transcribed notes were analyzed using Strauss Corbin's grounded theory methodology. Results: The core category of experience of new graduate nurses turnover was 'a feeling of helplessness.' Participants used three interactional strategies: 'rationalize to turnover', 'to feel more', 'to think positively'. Conclusion: If you teach kindly to senior nurse, training communication skills to new nurse and prepare to stable welfare in new nurse, you will can prevent early turnover of new nurse.

  • 본 연구는 시선 추적 방법(Eye-Tracking Method)을 이용한 디지털 컨버전스 제품의 정보 설계 및 평가에 관한 방법론을 제시하였다. Eye-tracking 데이터는 visual search의 효율성 뿐 아니라 타겟의 유의미성이나 가시성등을 측정하는데 유익하다. 응시 횟수와 응시 시간을 통하여 사용자의 심성 모형에 따른 시선 행위와 제품 메뉴 구조간의 전체적인 일치도를 정량적으로 분석하였고, 각 메뉴 item의 세부적인 인지 반응 정도를 평가하였다. 컨버전스 제품의 한 예로 휴대폰을 선정하여 실험을 실시하였으며, 활성화 확산 실험(SAT)을 수행하여 메뉴 항목 상호간의 인지반응 정도를 통한 문제점을 도출한 후 사용자 시나리오를 작성하였다. 1차 테스트를 통하여 피실험자의 시나리오 수행 시 어려움을 알 수 있었으며, 1차 테스트의 결과와 인터뷰 결과를 바탕으로 프로토타입의 메뉴명을 개선하여 2차 테스트를 실시하였다. 실험 결과 개선 전보다 후의 응시 횟수, 응시 시간 또한 감소하여 수행도가 향상됨으로 메뉴 구조의 개선된 결과를 가져왔다. 본 연구는 인간의 눈 움직임 측정치 결과를 토대로 사용자 심성 모형에 부합하여 누구나 접근이 쉬운 정보 구조를 설계할 수 있었다. 그러므로 본 연구에서 제시하는 Eye-tracking Method는 디지털 컨버전스로 인한 복잡한 정보 구조의 설계와 평가에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

A Study on the Development of Classification Schemes for NGO Records (시민단체 기록 분류방안 연구: 환경연합을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to identify the developing process of classification shemes for NGO records. And it chooses the KFEM(Korea Federation for Environmental Movenment) for case study, which is a representative NGO of Korea. This study proposes the classification principles in the form that the function classification and subject classification are combined. The development model of function classification schemes on the KFEM records is based on the Australian Standard Work Process Analysis for Recordkeeping(AS 5090) and the DIRKS (Designing and Implementing Recordkeeping Systems) methodology. Literature review, interviews, work process analysis, and questionnaire surveys have been employed as research methodology.
