The harm caused by the opposite function of information and communication has also done increasing with making use of internet more spread. Especially the information and communication are even used as new criminal methods in the society. The objective of this study is to find the orientation on the ethics education of information and communication through the opinion of the undergraduate students who lead the culture of internet for suggestion of the target to raise the upright and sound members of society as well as to solve the above such problems and to establish the desirable model of the ethics. From the questionnaire result by the undergraduate students of S University, students in the field of Humanities and Social Science need the education against the opposite function of information and communication and also the education of netiquette of conscience and moral. In case of opinions in the field of Science and Engineering, the result shows that the students have the opinion on the necessity of the professional education to deal with the opposite function to information and communication as well as the education for upgrade of ability to make use of expert knowledge of information and communication toward the positive side. Finally, the students in the field of Medicine show that they have also the opinion to deal with the opposite function of information and communication. In addition, such result shows that they have the opinion of necessity to the special education against various addicted symptom related to the computer.

It's important to analyse effects of word of mouth for making its impact higher in performance of motions pictures. And it's required to combine variety sales activities like free gift, promotion goods and price discount with word of mouth for the box office of film. The purpose of this study is to compare between groups classified by demographic characteristic into effects from word of mouth and methods of sales promotion in intention of watching film. On the other hand existing studies on sales activity and word of mouth were one-sided in theoretical background, a meaning of this study is theorizing a social phenomenon about sales promotion of movie giving actual examples that currently are effected by production company, Movie theaters, distribution company and affiliated company. For this purpose, it conducted a survey targeting 500 students in B university in Seoul city and 379 answers got received, and it proceeded this study with 369 answers except 10 inaccurate ones. Creating questionnaires with Likert 5 point scale, it decided that case of substantial inclination was 5 points and inverse one is 1 point. Doing analysis T and ANOVA according to male and female, kinds of major study and number of average monthly watching movie, it analysed the test results after comparison analysis between classified group. The results are summarized as follows: First, offering premiums is more effective by masculine than feminine, but situation of free gift is an opposite result. Second, there are no differences of effects word of mouth and methods of sales promotion by majority departments. Third, there are much differences between groups classified by average number of watching film in a month into effects from word of mouth and methods of sales promotion. Group of watching film more 3 times in a month is more effective than the other groups in intension of watching film by word of mouth. Fourth, word of mouth is great factor to increase intention of watching film and second one is discount on the price.
Although they are interested in Linear Algebra not only in science and engineering but also in humanities and sociology recently, a study of teaching linear algebra is not relatively abundant because linear algebra was taken as basic course in colleges just for 20-30 years. However, after establishing The Linear Algebra Curriculum Study Group in January, 1990, a variety of attempts to improve teaching linear algebra have been emerging. This article looks into series of studies related with teaching matrix. For this the method for teaching the concepts of matrix in relation to historico-genetic principle looking through the process of the conceptual development of matrix-determinants, matrix-systems of linear equations and linear transformation.
This study is to explore and compare the main research area of national and international universities, figure out the differences of the research trends depending on national and international universities, and suggest which area Korea universities could focus on and head to. The study is conducted on the fields of 'Communication and Media' in humanities and 'Electrical Engineering' in engineering for the cases of 10 national and international universities. The data is based on the 3 years journals published between 2009 and 2011 by 10 universities, and analyzed using network analysis. The data is processed with three steps and visualized using Ucinet, Gephi, Netdraw program. These result show, in case of 'Communication and Media', the focus of the universities in Korea mainly on the classical research fields with only a few new research area comparing with international universities. In case of 'Electrical Engineering', national and international universities covers various areas, from classic ones to emerging ones. But the specific research areas are different. These results suggest the research areas which ares the universities in Korea will pursue in near future.
This study explored the academic emotions of university freshmen depending on the type of online class(pre-recorded lecture vs. real time online class) that they took during the COVID-19 lockdown. 170 freshmen participated in the survey based on the 'Academic Emotion Questionnaire(AEQ)', and the statistical results are as follows; Firstly, research showed that the participants felt higher positive emotions for pre-recorded lecture than for real time online class, and higher negative emotions for real time online class than for pre-recorded lecture(p < .01). Secondly, participants felt different emotions depending on English level(p < .01). Thirdly, participants felt different emotions depending on their majors(p < .01). Students majoring in science & engineering felt higher positive emotions than those in humanities & social studies in pre-recorded lecture class. Fourthly, participants felt different emotions depending on gender(p < .01). Female students felt higher negative emotions than male students. Finally, the pedagogical implications and suggestions were discussed.

The purpose of this paper was to find out how the economic experiences of college students would affect their economic literacy via a survey with 494 D college students in Daegu city. First, economic literacy based on the general societal characteristics indicates 48.33 with females and 46.76 with males on average respectively, which shows a low score by and large. In the program divisions of college, nursing students showed the highest economic literacy, 58.67, followed by students in humanity and society, 53.56 students in engineering, 49.00 students in public health, 45.78 and students in art and physical education, 39.64. Levels of education of college students' father also affected economic Literacy of college students. College students whose father has a middle school diploma or lower revealed the highest economic literacy, 50.11. A second place is those whose father has a high school diploma, 49.57. The lowest score was recorded by those whose father has a graduate school degree. Even among the college students, those who just graduated from high school exhibited the highest economic literacy, 49.35, whereas those with a graduate school degree showed the lowest, 40.00 on average. In the economic literacy by financial empirical characteristics, college students who answered that they had an experience of opening a bankbook came up with 48.47, and those who answered that they had never opened a bankbook demonstrated a very low score of 30.20 on average. In the economic literacy by economic life variable, college students who never receive pocket money showed the highest score of 50.88, and those who get some pocket money whenever they need exhibited the lowest score of 44.23 on average. In the economic literacy by economic education variable, college students who answered that they had taken an economic education showed a score of 50.09. On the other hand, those who answered that they had never taken an economic education exhibited a score of 45.23 on average. College students who said that economic education is necessary showed a score of 50.24 in the economic literacy, whereas those who said that economic education is not necessary exhibited a score of 45.23 on average.
The purpose of this study analyzed by what factors university students were impacted in the compromise of career. 213 students who enrolled in 4-year universities were divided by demographic variables and psychological variables. The results showed followings. Firstly, the interests are the first factor and then social status and sex types followed regardless of variables. Secondly, at the based on the difference of groups science major student took the sex types as the first meanwhile, humanities and art & sports major students took the interests as the first. Lastly, there were statistical differences among groups at the sex types and social status with role orientation. This study can provide differentiated and individualized career development strategies regarding group types of career role orientation.

The purpose of this study was to explore practical direction of university general education through considering the goal and value by analyzing the effect of learning in students participating in general eduction class on skin care based on service learning. The subjects were 30 students in which female (n=24; 80%) and Juniors (n=16; 53.3%) are most common. Their most common major and religion were humanities and social sciences (n=12; 40.0%) and no-religion (n=21; 70%), respectively. The difference between pre- and post-service learning was analyzed to determine the effect of the service learning on the self-efficacy and the quality of life and the results showed significant difference, indicating the positive effect of service learning in improving the self-efficacy and the quality of life. The score of satisfaction with service learning was found to be 4.12, indicating high satisfaction and the intention to retain service learning was found to be 3.99, indicating they have the intention to retain service learning. In addition, there was no difference in the satisfaction with and the intention to retain service learning depending on the characteristics such as gender, grade, major, and religion. These results showed that the general eduction class on skin care based on service learning had positive effect on the self-efficacy and quality of life of learners. There effects are expected to helpful, through university education in developing a sense of community and strengthening social responsibility of learners as social identities.
This study surveyed and analyzed the labor market result when comparing the case that junior college students found a job after transferring to 4-year university with the case that they found the job directly after graduating the junior college. The difference of the occupational structure following the transfer was surveyed in detail and this study examined what effect the transfer had on the occupation status. The graduate occupation movement survey(GOMS) was used and the samples of 544 persons were extracted to use through propensity score matching(PSM) to raise the choice convenience of the sample. The occupation status index to use as a dependent variable was developed to apply. The study result is as follows. First, as a result of confirming the occupational structure of the transfer, the transfer students were distributed in more various industrial fields evenly compared to the non-transfer students in the horizontal industrial structure, and non-transfer students were intensively distributed in the certain field. In the vertical occupation status structure, transfer students were distributed in the high occupation status more than non-transfer students who were broadly distributed in the low occupation status. Second, it was revealed the college transfer was highly effective for the occupation status, which appeared statistically significantly. The explanation variable that appeared significantly outside of that included the parents' academic background, major affiliation, employment pattern, major job coincidence, and job coincidence. The higher students' academic background was, the higher the occupation status was and in case of the engineering natural science affiliation, the occupation status was higher than the humanities social science. In case of full-time workers, their occupation status was higher than one of part time workers and it was revealed the occupation status was high when the their major coincided with the job and their educational/technical level coincided with their job.
Recently, there is a strong interest in SW basic education for non-major students in universities, but SW non-majors are having a hard time learning. This paper proposes a class operation method that utilizes customized contents reflecting the interests of non-majors, rather than using existing learning contents for SW majors. The proposed method is to improve the education effects by increasing the learning motivation of SW non-majors. The paper shows a case study of A university, which has operated non-major SW basic education for more than five years. The case study analyzed the change of class satisfaction of students of pre- and post- learning group that reformed major-friendly contents about the same curriculum. As a result, the students of social sciences are interested in learning contents using public data that can examine the social and cultural phenomena of the country, and humanities students are interested in text contents such as novels, history books, and SNS articles. In addition to the understanding of the lectures, the class satisfaction was also greatly improved, and it showed that the major-friendly contents is useful for SW basic education of non-majors.
