This paper presumes the size and status of the deviation from S&T workforce career-path throughout the whole life cycle. For this purpose, we make a operational definition and analyzing framework for career departure of S&T workforce and then find out some results as followings. For example, the career departure is more serious in the utilization phase of S&T workforce than the training phase and the qualitative career departure is a still more important problem at both phase. Finally, we suggest some policy implications to solve these problems.

본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 경제적 자립과 안정적인 정착을 지원하는 하나의 방안으로서 창업을 촉진하기 위한 지원 정책과 제도 개선 방안을 제시할 목적으로 수행하였다. 정부는 현재 생활밀착형 북한이탈주민 정책 추진 기조하에 북한이탈주민의 삶의 질을 높여주는 방향으로 맞춤형 정책을 추진하고 있다. 다만, 창업지원 프로그램은 여전히 소규모로서 지원 분야를 다양화하고 예산을 증액 하는 한편, 지원 체계도 중앙-지방-민간 간 유기적으로 협업이 효율적으로 이루어지도록 개선이 필요하다. 본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 창업의지 결정요인에 대한 실증적 연구를 목적으로 하며, 북한이탈주민들에게 잔존하는 사회주의 가치체계와 이들의 사회적응성 요인을 기존 연구에서 확인되었던 개인의 성격적 특성, 경제적 지지, 자아성취욕구 요인들과 함께 분석모형에 포함하여 실증 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 하나원에서 교육 중인 18세 이상 북한이탈주민 223명을 대상으로 2019년 10월 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 선형회귀분석과 이분형 로지스틱 모형분석을 이용하여 실증분석을 수행하였다. 2개의 분석 모형에서 일관된 결과가 도출됨에 따라 분석결과의 강건성을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 사회주의 가치체계가 약할수록 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠것이라는 가설은 지지되었다.

A study is presented that examines the effect of personality on preference and purchase intention of positive and negative novelty design products. Participants evaluated their preference and purchase intention on 18 design products including positive and negative novelty design products. A cute Scream character was created as a positive novelty design and a skeleton Mickey character was used as a negative one. We measured extroversion, neuroticism, and visual product aesthetics as individual traits. The results shows that people, of course, prefer(and want to buy) the positive novelty design product to the negative novelty design product. Only in the case of the negative novelty design product, the more neurotic people is, the more they prefer it. Also, among the people who like the negative novelty design product, introvert ones are likely to purchase it but extroverted ones are not. These findings imply that personality plays an important role in liking and purchasing negative novelty design product.

This study analyzed the determinants of self-employment exits among the middle-aged and senior adults. For the analysis, we used KLoSA(Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing) data from the first(2006) to the sixth(2016) and vocational data, which is a retrospective data surveyed in 2007. Among the reasons for exiting the self-employment, we find that the group that went out of their businesses due to management difficulties were more likely to have economic difficulties after the exit. Therefore, we analyzed the determinants of self-employment exits considering the exit reason due to management difficulties. The analysis model used a competing risk regression model that defined the only exit due to management difficulties as failures. As a result, the significance of gender, age, and education variables, which were well known as determinants of exiting the self-employment, disappeared. On the other hand, we find that the prior experience in the same industry tended to lower the risk of exiting the self-employment. To summarize the results, we suggest that we need some ways to help the middle-aged and senior adults who start their own businesses without any experience in the same industry to prevent them from failures.

Most of the North Korean defectors are the socially disadvantaged, and formed the lowest class in South Korean society. Their main objectives are to achieve economic wealth. In this process, North Korean defectors have often committed the crime or have been criminal victims. The purpose of this study was to propose the effective preventive measures after analyzing the actual situation of North Korean defectors in criminal behaviors and criminal damages. This research has studied of the literature on the criminal behavior and the criminal damage by North Korean defectors, utilized the relevant statistical data, cited the news for the relevant cases, and proposed the effective preventive measures of criminal behaviors and criminal damages of North Korean defectors by doing in-depth interviews with personal protection officer First, in order to prevent criminal activity by North Korean defectors, we should uplift the identity as the members of Korean society, systemize the initial adapt education, enlarge the employment protection and the resettlement helper system, manage North Korean defectors according to adaptive type, develop the network, establish the management department for the defectors, strengthen the training of prison inmates, and strengthen the management of unprotected people. Next, in order to prevent the criminal damages of North Korean refugees, we should manage vulnerable North Korean defectors effectively, maintain the liaison between the personal protection officer and North Korean defector, arrange the personal safety measures in advance when traveling abroad, enhance the legal education for usual living in Korean society, and perform the re-education for the female socialization.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a corporate marketing strategy maintaining and managing customers. And with CRM companies maximize the customer's value through a series of processes of new customer retention, VIP customer retention, customer value increase, potential customer activation, and customers for lifetime by collecting the customer information and taking advantage of it effectively. In particular, as the competitive environment is changing rapidly and getting more intense, maintaining the customer retention through customer churn management becomes more important in order to increase the customer value for maximizing the company's profit and to build up the relationship with customers. For example, the financial industry has managed the customer churn with the concept of customer segmentation. Recently the customer retention and churn management is becoming increasingly important in all business fields as well as financial industry since the companies expect the effect of preventing the customer churn by identifying characteristics of customers. However, despite the increasing interest and importance of the management of the customer churn, not many of studies are systematically executed by analyzing the data of customer churn. In this study we analyze the actual data of CRM activities for the customer retention, specifically the data of TV home-shopping. By doing so, we hope to identify the differences of demographic attributes and transaction specific characteristics in consumer behaviors between the churning customer and the retained customers. In addition, we try to find out the variables which can impact the churning of the customers and to predict the churn rate of individual customer through our proposed model of customer churn. In the end, based on our findings we suggest the possible marketing strategies for TV home-shopping companies.

최근 빠르게 성숙되고 있는 시장과 경쟁적 환경으로 인해 고객 유지에 대한 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 이는 기존 고객을 유지하는 것이 비용 면에서 저렴할 뿐 아니라, 고객 충성도나 구전효과가 같은 기타 부수적인 이득을 획득할 수 있다는 측면에서 유리하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 고객의 이탈 가능성을 미리 예측하고 이를 사전에 방지할 수 있는 고객 유지 절차를 제시하고 있다. 이탈고객의 탐지 및 방지를 위해서는 기존의 인구통계학적 자료 외에도 웹로그, 구매 Database 등의 대용량의 고객 행위 데이터에 대한 분석이 요구되기 때문에 데이터 마이닝 기법의 활용이 필수적이다. 그러나 대부분의 데이터 마이닝 연구는 예측 및 분류의 정확성이 높은 모델을 개발하는데 초점이 맞추어져 있으며, 고객의 행위를 이해하고 바람직한 방향으로 유도하고자 하는 연구는 지극히 부족한 상황이다. 그러므로 본 논문은 다양한 데이터마이닝 기법을 통합하여 잠재 이탈고객을 탐지하고, 기존 연구에서 간과하고 있던 비용적 측면을 고려한 이탈 방지 절차를 제시하고자 한다.

북한이탈주민의 입국자가 곧 3만 명에 육박할 것이다. 이로 말미암아 북한이탈주민에 대한 한국사회에서의 안정된 정착이 큰 문제로 대두되고 있기에, 그 문제들을 해결하고자 창업교육을 실시하여 북한이탈주민의 경제적 고립을 막고, 한국사회에서 올바른 진로를 선택하여 미래 통일 역군을 만들고자 한다. 본 논문은 창업교육 전, 후 창업동기 및 의지, 기업가정신, 진로장벽, 진로성숙도, 진로미결정 요인을 분석하여 창업교육에 대한 효과성을 강조하고자 한다. 아울러 장지적으로는 국내 입국 후 북한이탈주민들이 느끼는 심리를 분석하여 그들이 진정으로 원하는 진로와 정부지원정책을 도출해 내고자 한다.

최근 자동차 관련 연구 분야 중 안전사고 예방에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 안전지능형 기술들의 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 졸음운전과 같이 운전자의 의지와 상관없는 무의식적인 차선 이탈은 중앙선 침범으로 이어져 대형 사고를 유발할 가능성이 크다. 이와 같은 요인들은 의식적인 상황에서의 차량의 통제를 방해하고 결국 예기치 않은 차선 이탈로 연결될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 차선 이탈 여부를 미리 판단하여 주행차선을 이탈하기 전에 운전자게에 알려줌으로써 운전자의 안전을 향상 시켜주며 자동차 안전사고 예방기술에 관련하여 차선검출과 차선이탈경고시스템 알고리즘을 설계하였다.
