  • Based on the previous research that the social responsibility of a for-profit company has a positive effect on the decrease in turnover intention, we examine the effect of CSR of a non-profit organization, hospital, on the turnover intention of members of the organization. We collected data through questionnaire surveys for medical institution workers, and conducted exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis using this data. The analysis showed that HSR had a significant effect on organizational trust, and that hospital members' organizational trust had a negative impact on turnover. In conclusion, HSR Had a significant effect on the turnover. Therefore, medical institution managers have to recognize the effect of HSR on decreasing the turnover and carry out HSR for effective management. By identifying the impacts of hospital social responsibility activities that reduce the intention of employees to turn over, it is possible to contribute to the efficient operation of medical institutions, As a future research task, it is necessary to increase the generality of research by broadening the distribution of members.

This study is a descriptive survey study, and data were collected by conducting an online survey of 465 female nurses working in three shifts at seven medical institutions. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 24.0 in a χ2 test, a two-sample independent t-test, a pearson correlation and MANCOVA. The result shows that the group of nurses preferring fixed work shift had higher organizational commitment at higher ages and had higher turnover intention if they had an experience of transferring to another medical institution. The study also found that the group that prefers fixed work shift had lower organizational commitment and higher turnover intention than the group of nurses preferring shift work. The nursing department in hospital should strive to improve the working environment in female nurses by developing various types of work, with an aim to increase the organizational commitment of female nurses preferring fixed work and reduce their turnover.

  • This study aims to identify the impact of job and organizational factors on turnover intentions of case managers in Medicaid. Data were collected over a two-week period starting from June 1, 2020, targeting case managers working in city, county, and district offices. A total of 484 responses were received, and 403 were used for the final analysis. Data analysis was conducted using binary logistic regression with SPSS WIN 29.0. The results showed no significant relationship between general characteristics and turnover intentions. However, regarding job factors, turnover intentions were related to period of employment, job satisfaction, the number of annual home visits, time spent on documentation per case, and the proportion of fieldwork duties. In terms of organizational factors, turnover intentions were higher among employment type, in regions with a shortage of case managers and in areas where recruiting case managers is difficult. To reduce turnover intentions, it is suggested to establish computerized systems and simplify forms to minimize the time spent on documentation. Additionally, further research is needed to explore the causes of recruitment difficulties in certain regions and to improve the workload and deployment standards for case managers, considering regional characteristics and period of employment.

  • In recent years, turnover intention among employees in China's banking industry has surged due to internal and external environmental pressures. This surge surpasses those occurring in other sectors. This rising trend in employee turnover has resulted in reducing employee turnover becoming a critical priority for banks in their ongoing development. Traditional leadership styles have proven inadequate for addressing this issue, requiring a shift towards more effective management approaches. This study explores the potential of servant leadership, a management style that prioritizes employees' needs, supports their development, and motivates them to realize their potential, as a means to mitigate rising turnover intentions. The research focuses on employees in the Chinese banking sector so as to examine the impact of the servant leadership management approach on their turnover intentions. Job crafting is investigated as a mediating variable, while stress mindset is assessed as a moderating variable. Data were collected from 401 valid questionnaires across 62 teams, comprising 62 leaders and 339 employees. Hypotheses were tested using SPSS 26.0 and HLM 6.0. The findings reveal that: (1) servant leadership significantly reduces turnover intentions; (2) job crafting mediates the relationship between servant leadership and turnover intentions; and (3) stress mindset positively moderates the influence of job crafting on turnover intentions. This study provides empirical evidence supporting the relationship between servant leadership and turnover intentions. The study's findings offer valuable insights into how to enhance employee management practices. It also discusses the theoretical and practical implications of integrating servant leadership into the banking sector, highlights the study's limitations, and proposes directions for future research.
