And also it is to analyze a survey measuring how satisfied they are with curriculum, teaching faculty, educational administration, facilities among 439 private guards completing a course in Korea private guard educational institution and registered in the National Police Agency in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, Jeolla province. For this, SPSS(Statistical Packages for Social Science) 15.0 Version was adapted to analyze and other analysis methods used for this study are like these: frequency, reliability analysis, regressive analysis, moderated multiple regression, post hoc test for categorizing the performance changes, looking into the characteristics, examining closely job performance, intention to quit one's job, and inquiring into the influence how satisfaction measurement at education training satisfaction makes on carrying out one's job. Firstly, The Effect Satisfaction at The Program has on Performing One's Duty With respect to job performance, curriculum, educational administration, teaching abilities have positive influences on it. On the other hand, with respect to quitting one's job, curriculum just makes positive effects on leaving one's work statistically. It indicates that systematic and effective curriculum, administration, teaching faculty or contents with high quality rather than just education facilities would make the task performance excellent and satisfaction at the program well in regards to making effects on the task performance. Secondly, The Effect Satisfaction at The Program has on Performing One's Duty with Social Supports Despite being the fact that statistically any strong correlation between curriculum and social supports, one between education facilities and social supports, one between teaching abilities and social supports, and one between educational administration and social supports do not have influences on carrying out job performance, it turns out that satisfaction at the program and social supports make positive effects on performing one's task. In conclusion, the entire social system and support need to be improved and some institutions appropriate for satisfaction at the program should be established as soon as possible.

  • This study analyzes the male-female difference in self-employment rates in Korea using panel data constructed from the Economically Active Population Survey in 1999. Given that most studies on self-employment have focused on male self-employment and have not examined why self-employment rate is usually higher among males than females, this study certainly extends the existing literature on this subject This study consists of two parts. The first part deals with estimating self-employment rates for males and female within a Markov framework. The second part presents decomposition results of the male-female differential in self-employment rates. Major findings of the study are (1) self-employment rate is higher for males than females because entry into self-employment is larger but exit from self-employment is smaller for males than female, (2) higher entry probability for males is due to differences in coefficients of transition probability functions while lower exit probability for males is due to differences in characteristics, (3) a large part of male-female gap in self-employment rates results from differences in being a head of family, marital status and age between males and females.

  • The purposes of this study were to: a) provide evidences concerning the effects of emotional leadership b) examine the impacts of emotional leadership on employee-related variables, 'job satisfaction', 'organizational commitment', 'organizational performance' and 'turnover intention', and c) identify a conceptual framework underlying emotional leadership. A survey was conducted from August 23 to November 3, 2005 to collect data from mid-level managers in food service company headquarters (N=219). Statistical analyses were completed using SPSS Win (12.0) for descriptive, reliability, factor and correlation analyses and AMOS (5.0) for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the managers gave the highest point to their leaders in the emotional leadership competence 'organizational awareness : reading the currents, decision networks, and politics at the organizational level' and gave the lowest point in the emotional leadership competence 'influence: wielding effective tactics for persuasion'. Second, the means of job satisfaction was above the midpoint (3 points). Employees' job satisfaction with 'coworkers' was relatively high. However, the extents of satisfaction with 'payroll' 'promotion', and 'work environment' were relatively low. Third, the organizational commitment was above the midpoint (3 points). In the organizational commitment, 'loyalty' factor was higher than 'commitment' factor. Fourth, the means of organizational performance was above the midpoint. The highest organizational performance variable was 'internal efficiency; trying to reduce cost' and the lowest organizational performance variable was 'internal fairness ; equitable treatment and all are treated with respect with no regard to status and grade'. Fifth, most respondents intended on 'thinking of quitting ; towards turnover process'. Sixth, the test of hypothesis using structural equation modeling found that emotional leadership produced p[Isitive effects on job attitude and job performance. Emotional leadership enhanced job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and in turn, employees' attitude positive effects on organizational performance; emotional leadership also had a direct impact on organizational performance

  • This paper aims at concrete examination of the 'Official Road(官路)' of the late Joseon Dynasty through government administration of the 17th - 18th century 'Junsangseo(典牲署)'. Until now, the study of the central political system in the Joseon Dynasty was mainly studied by the politically important bureaucrat 'Dangsanggwan(堂上官)', and even if he studied the 'Official Road(官路)', he was a student from the a graduate of Mungwa(文科) and the 'Clean and imfortant Official(淸要職)' connected with it It was examined mainly. As a result, this research attempts to elucidate the routes of 'non - Clean and imfortant Official(非淸要職)' who have not been studied so far. However, it is difficult to deal with all the 'lower officials(參下官)' reaching 263 in total, so it was targeted at the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' where the 'List of official(先生案)' exists in the 17th - 18th century. In chapter 2, we examined the historical value of 'List of official(先生案)' and were able to secure the confidence of the materials. In Chapter 3, we specifically examined the origins of officials from the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)', the official route, and the occupation. As a result, the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' 'lower officials(參下官)' was predominantly from the 'Munum(門蔭)'. In addition, I confirmed that I was stepping on a public road that roughly promoted one rank. The number of days in office has also been promoted satisfying the court occupation days. Although this is an analysis limited to 'Junsangseo(典牲署)', it seems that 'lower officials(參下官)' of 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' had gone through routes and routes that were roughly similar to the 'lower officials' of the main office. If we can assume this, we can understand the character of the late Joseon Dynasty 'lower officials(參下官)' by understanding the character of 'lower officials(參下官)' of 'Junsangseo(典牲署)'. To declare this, more case analysis is necessary, and it is necessary to convert a lot of 'List of official(先生案)' data scattered nationwide into DB.

Job stress is known to affect the kitchen operation and cause negative formation of interior and exterior customer management. This study wishes to present the method that can minimize the negative effect caused by stress, leading to an elevation of service quality that is offered to customers by removing those factors related to the stress of a licensed cook. This study established the range of targets to compare the cooks of super-deluxe hotel restaurants and those of family restaurants and to apply result of this research to whole licensed cooks is considered to have some limitations. • This study demonstrates the gender difference in the factors that affect job changes and the resulting wage changes in the recent Korean labor market. By using the KEAPS (2003-2007), we found that male workers uniquely tend to stay longer at their current jobs when they have families to support. After controlling self-selection bias, we also found that wage changes resulting from switching jobs differ between male and female workers during this studied period.

  • System Integration Projects, especially in public sector, have a tendency of growing in size and duration. Under such environment the effects of IT personnel turnover becomes a serious problem. In addition a high rate of turnover hinders shill accumulation and competitiveness obtainment. In this research we explored the reasons of turnover by way of tracing IT personnel who have involved in large-scale SI projects and moved or quit before the completion of the projects. Based on previous research we identified three dimensions of variables that affected turnover : task-related dimension, human relations dimension, treatment-related dimension. We used these dimensions as a guideline for the interview and questioning exploration. Implications from the research for improving IT Personnel management are also elaborated.
