Design and Implementation of the Internetworking Architecture between IPv4 and IPv6 in IMS based Mobile networks (IMS기반 이동패킷망에서의 IPv4/IPv6 연동구조 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we propose an architecture for communication between the IPv4-based UA and the IPv6-based UA in IMS based Mobile Networks, and design and implement the IMS protocol Translator for verification of the architecture. For the design of the internetworking between the IPv4 and the IPv6, we analyze the transition mechanisms and investigate the protocol translator. The IMS protocol translator is composed of the IMS-ALG(IP Multimedia Subsystem - Application Level Gateway) and TrGW(Translation Gateway), and the conformance of these components are verified by experiments.

  • This paper presents the minimum groups of tasks that should allow for multi-tasking by each main task when using a mobile phone. Imaging the situation that various tasks are seamlessly happened and making clear which tasks they need are not simple for users. Thus, we explore multi-tasking needs between every two tasks first, out of entire 16 functions selected from general functions that mobile phones have. Next, we create multi-tasking scenarios by analogy connecting each previous task to appropriate tasks that user's needs are revealed. In this manner, 11 scenarios are introduced finally. We expect that the result of our research is possible to be applicable to the development of user-centered design that multi-tasking contexts are considered.

  • In this paper, storing and removing method of broadcasting content is proposed for personalized consumption. The main objective of this paper is to keep personalized information, such as additional contents, user creation data, usage history, with broadcasting content, and user can consume broadcasting content to accommodate individual preference. Consequently, proposed file format in this paper is based on MPEG-4 and MPEG-21 file format because they can access and extract data within file format easily and can keep spatiotemporal relation between data. In addition, TV-Anytime metadata is used for program description metadata. Finally, proposed method is verified with file format player and useful application scenarios.

  • MANET(Mobile Ad hoc NETwork) routing protocols have merits and demerits under the specific situations. Because it is not clear which protocol is the best under all situations, a suitable routing protocol should be selected depending on the traffic and moving characteristics of nodes. The aim of this paper is to select an appropriate routing protocol to be used by the Korea Coal Corporation. So we designed working scenarios such as coal mining and tunnel supporting that reflected mobile characteristics of nodes. We constructed coal mining and tunnel supporting topology, and analyzed the performance of MANET routing protocols. This result can be used as a basis to select a MANET routing protocol in underground tunnel environment and other mine of the Korea Coal Corporation.

  • 비디오 해석 및 추적기술은 특정한 시스템에서만 적용되는 것이 아니다. 이것은 비디오 내에서 의미 있는 정보를 능동적으로 감시 대상을 정의, 해석, 모델화, 추정 및 추적 할 수 있는 기반 기술을 의미하다. 일반적으로 감시시스템에서 감시 대상은 사람이나 차량이며, 상황에 따라 출입통제 구역으로 설정하기도 한다. 이는 연속된 영상에서 객체의 형태, 모양, 행동 분석, 움직임, 색상정보를 가지고 데이터 정의, 검출, 모델화를 통하여 인식, 식별 그리고 추적한다. 본 논문에서는 비디오 영상분석을 통해 단일카메라기반의 감시시스템과 PTZ 카메라기반 감시시스템 제안한다. 이때 단일 카메라기반의 감시는 배경생성방법을 이용하여 연속된 영상내의 객체를 지속적으로 관리가 가능하도록 설계하였고, PTZ 카메라기반의 감시는 카메라의 이동에 따른 배경안정화 방법과 카메라의 절대좌표를 활용하여 카메라 이동을 제어함과 동시에 오검출 문제를 해결하였다. 실험 및 결과분석으로는 시나리오 환경에서 배경생성방법을 이용한 검출의 정확성과 PTZ카메라 위치 변화에도 강인한 검출 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • Context-Awareness is a important technology to support optimized services automatically by recognizing various context informations in ubiquitous environments. Previous middlewares which supports ubiquitous environments used a centralized storage and DBMS to store and manage context informations and service contents. Centralized management of context informations and service contents sometimes hinders the autonomy of moving node and interoperability between difference middlewares. In this paper, we design the systems which stores context informations in moving node by distributed form and shares service contents between middlewares in distributed ubiquitous environments. And it provides Context-Aware scripts to supports the definition of context informations reasoning and execution of services. It verifies the usefulness of the designed systems by applying the scenario of music playing service based on context awareness

  • In developing games, realism is considered as an important factor to increase immersion. To do this, the paper developed 'Jungle Master' game applying the conventional energy model to movement of monsters in RPG. The main scenario of the game is that animals attack each other in order to survive the competition in jungle. While chasing monster : fleeing monster is 1:1 in the conventional energy model, it is extended as n:1 in order to increase fun. As the results, this paper showed that the energy model can be effectively applied to the real game and monsters can be implemented so that they can move in natural.

  • In this paper, we describe overhead problems which result from the supporting NEMO in PMIPv6 networks, and propose a novel binding scheme for the network-based mobility management with new network-layer message which solves the problems of the additional tunnel. Our proposed binding scheme can reduce handover latency without mobility-related procedure by the hosts. A performance evaluation shows that the proposed scheme works more efficiently than the scheme which is proposed by the IETF NETLMM WG in terms of packet loss, handover latency and average packet throughput.

  • 기후변화에 따른 태풍, 집중호우 등에 의해 설계홍수량을 능가하는 크기의 홍수가 발생하여 큰 피해를 입는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 기후변화를 고려하여 예측한 미래의 강우자료에 의한 홍수량의 설계가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 기후변화를 고려해 예측한 미래의 강우자료에 기초한 설계 홍수량을 산정하고, 이를 기존의 설계 홍수량과 비교분석하는데 있다. 대상지구는 이동저수지 유역을 선정하였고, HEC-GeoHMS를 이용해 대상지구의 유역자료를 추출하였다. 설계홍수량 추정을 위한 과거 강우자료는 수원기상대의 1964년부터 2011년까지의 자료기간을 수집하여 사용하였으며, 미래의 강우자료는 기상청 국가표준 기후변화 시나리오에서 제공하는 자료를 사용하였다. 수집된 강우자료를 바탕으로 FARD2006의 Gumbel 분포와 모멘트법을 적용하여 빈도별 확률 강우량을 각각 산정하였다. 산정된 빈도별 확률강우량을 수원지역의 Huff 분포에 적용해 시간별 강우분포를 구한 후 HEC-HMS의 Clark 단위도법을 이용하여 빈도별 홍수량을 각각 산정하여 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 미래 강우자료에 의한 홍수량 설계의 필요성을 입증하고, 이를 바탕으로 다른 대상 지구에 대해서도 적용하여 미래의 홍수량 예측에 따른 설계빈도 설정에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Pervasive computing environment is similar to the meaning of ubiquitous computing, however it is a kind of the commercial product, which is made from the collaboration between NIST and IBM. On the basis of this environment, the research of mobile agents for intrusion detection is going on in progress. In this paper, we study the research about mobile agents for the intrusion detection and then suggest scenarios using moving mobile agents based on the multiple mobile agents in the intrusion detection. Subsequently, we could figure out the problems which occurred through progress of integrity movement as a matter of the intrusion detection.
