Effects of Police Officers's Values to the Police Organization (경찰관의 가치관이 경찰조직에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Individual values exert strong influence on attitudes, behaviors and lifestyles of a person. Furthermore, Individual values predict personal world views and can predict behavior and behavioral predispositions in the organization. So, individual values influence the organization strongly. And, organizational culture in police is affected by the values of police officers. The aim of this study is to make use of the theory of human values developed by Rokeach as a theoretical framework to evaluate value preferences among police officers in Korea and have a thorough grasp of the point of sameness and difference with two studies. In this study, I analyze data and make a comparative study of values with preceding studies I find that police officers regard personal values as more important than social values. A noticeable finding of this study is the middle ranking of the value of equality among police officers. It's different result with other studies. And, the value of national security is the low ranking among police officers. It's the same result with preceding studies.

A Study on Factors of Elderly Residential Care Service Utilization for using Decision Tree Regression (의사결정분석을 이용한 우리나라 노인의 요양시설서비스 이용 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the factors affecting service utilization of elderly residential care among long term care services recipients during long term care insurance pilot project period in Korea. Help-seeking Behavior model developed by Andersen and Newman(1973) was used to analyze the factors affecting their utilization residential care service among 1,939 long term care services recipients. Frequency and Decision Tree Regression analysis on SPSS 13.0 used. Analyses show strong significant factor is service preference(predisposing factors), and then significant factors are enabling factors such as co-residence type, household income. According to this results, need factors such as cognition disorder, problem behavior, ADL and IADL disabilities are affecting utilization behavior of elderly residential care services. These findings provide implications and suggestions about how long term care service system would be settled in Korea. And these finding provide information about target-efficient long term care continuum system to policy makers and helping professionals.

  • 본 연구에서는 현대인들의 하루 중 많은 시간을 차지하는 착좌 생활을 관리하기 위한 롤러블(rollable) 스마트패드를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 PVDF(polyvinylidene fluoride) 필름을 이용한 압전센서(piezoelectric sensor)를 제작하였으며, 센서에서 데이터를 획득하고 및 햅틱 피드백(haptic feedback)을 주기 위한 측정시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 통해 착좌 자세에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 제공하도록 하였다. 제작된 시스템의 착좌 자세 구분 정확도는 10명의 피험자를 대상으로 평가되었으며, 4가지 자세(상체를 좌, 우, 앞, 뒤로 기울인 앉은 자세)에 대한 실험결과 제작된 시스템은 92.5%의 정확도로 제시한 4가지의 자세를 구분하였다.

마음챙김이 정신건강에 미치는 효과

  • 본 연구는 마음챙김(Mindfulness)의 심리치료적 과정을 기술해 보고 현대인의 정신적 질병인 우울증에 대한 마음챙김의 치료효과를 검증하는데 있다. 마음챙김은 최근 미국을 중심으로 심리학과 정신의학 분야에서 크게 주목을 받고 있는 심리치료 프로그램이다. 마음챙김은 일상생활에서 well-being을 추구하는 정신건강에 효과가 있으며, 정신적 스트레스 감소와 임상치료에서 우울, 불안, 강박, 중독, PTSD, ADHD 등 각종 정신병리의 증상완화에도 치료에 효과가 있다고 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 신경정신과에서 의뢰받은 3명의 내담자들을 대상으로 마음챙김 심리치료를 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하여 우울증에 대한 치료효과를 알아보았다. 내담자의 특성은 장기간 우울증을 겪고 있으며 약물을 복용하고 있는 50대 여성을 대상으로 하였고, 그 결과 마음챙김은 우울증으로 인한 우울감과 불안감, 반추적 성향, 정서조절 곤란 정도에서 감소되는 효과가 있었으며, 정신건강의 긍정적인 지표인 마음챙김 기술 척도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 마음챙김이 인지행동치료 뿐만 아니라 약물치료를 대체하는 정신적 치료법으로도 효과가 있다는 시사점이 있다.

  • 치매 환자들은 안전한 생활과 건강한 삶을 위해 행동 정보에 대한 모니터링이 필요하다. 이러한 서비스를 위해 휴대가 간편하면서 항상 착용 가능한 모니터링 도구가 필요하며, 기억과 인지장애로 인한 배회 활동과 넘어짐과 같은 응급상황에 빠르게 대처하기 위한 다양한 센서기술의 적용이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중인 치매환자를 위한 시계형 장치(스마트 시계)와 서버시스템의 구조 및 기능에 대해서 서술하면서, 3 축 가속도 센서 기반의 개선된 걸음 수 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 개선된 걸음 수 검출 알고리즘은 일반적인 걸음 수를 96%의 정확도로 검출함을 확인했다.

  • 사회가 다원화되고 발달하면서 생활환경과 행동양식에 따라 홍수 등의 수난(水難) 으로 인한 피해 정도와 양상은 크게 달라질 수 있으나, 수난으로 인한 체감 가능한 피해의 정도와 규모는 예측이 어려운 현실이다. 그리고, 최근 인터넷과 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS)의 급진적 발달은 재난 관리에 대중적 지식을 수집하여 활용하도록 촉진하고 있고, 이로 인해 재난 상황에서 '대중적인 정보가 기술자에 의해 어떻게 얼마나 신중하게 고려되어야 하는지와 어떻게 과학적으로 해석해야하는지'가 핵심 쟁점으로 부상하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 널리 사용되는 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기법을 조사 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 수문 예측 분야에서 이러한 기술이 적용된 사례와 신기술을 조망해 보고 기존 기술이 인공지능 및 딥러닝 기법의 적용으로 대체 가능한 정도를 가늠해 보았다.

Anthropometric Measurement, Dietary Behaviors, Health-related Behaviors and Nutrient Intake According to Lifestyles of College Students (대학생의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 신체계측, 식행동, 건강관련 생활습관 및 영양소 섭취상태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences according to lifestyle in anthropometric measurement, dietary attitude, health-related behaviors and nutrient intake among the college students. The subjects were 994 nation-wide college students (male: 385, female: 609) and divided into 7 clusters (PEAO: passive economy/appearance-oriented type, NCPR: non-consumption/pursuit of relationship type, PTA: pursuit of traditional actuality type, PAT: pursuit of active health type, UO: utility-oriented type, POF: pursuit of open fashion type, PFR: pursuit of family relations type). A cross-sectional survey was conducted using a self administered questionnaire, and the data were collected via Internet or by mail. The nutrient intake data collected from food record were analyzed by the Computer Aided Nutritional Analysis Program. Data were analyzed by a SPSS 12.0 program. Average age of male and female college students were 23.7 years and 21.6 years, respectively. Most of the college students had poor eating habits. In particular, about 60% of the PEAO group has irregularity in meal time. The students in PAH and POF groups showed significantly higher consumption frequency of fruits, meat products and foods cooked with oil compared to the other groups. As for exercise, drinking and smoking, there were significant differences between PAH and the other groups. Asked for the reason for body weight control, 16.2% of NCPR group answered "for health", but 24.8% of PEAO group and 26.3% of POF group answered "for appearance". Calorie, vitamin A, vitamin $B_2$, calcium and iron intakes of all the groups were lower than the Korean DRIs. Female students in PTA group showed significantly lower vitamin $B_1$ and niacin intakes compared to the PFR group. Therefore, these results provide nation-wide information on health-related behaviors and nutrient intake according to lifestyles among Korean college students.

  • This study aims to figure out how the brand experience design elements works in the Shortform video-based branding through case analysis. The sense, feel, think, act, relate experience of Shortform video brand are provided through the implementation of specific experience design elements in the process of the creators expressing personality through social media channels and communicating and interacting with consumers. As a result, LIZIQI's food videos provided a brand identity as an 'Eastern gourmet' to consumers through the audiovisual stimulation of food in video, the cognitive reinforcement which is combined of identities and products, and the behavioral participation by web sites·electronic media. In addition, a strong brand relationship was established by sharing emotional ties using human factors and responsibility through co-branding. This can be extended to various Shortform video contents-based branding cases, and it will suggest a useful approach to the brand building strategy through strategic brand experience design elements.

Study on Clothing Life of Korea-Vietnam Multicultural Families - Focus on clothing behaviors and attitudes toward traditional dresses - (베트남 다문화가정 의생활 실태조사 - 의복행동과 전통복식 태도를 중심으로 -)

  • This research is designed to provide basic data to study the life and culture of multicultural families in Korea by taking a look at the clothing behaviors and attitudes toward traditional dresses. To this end, quantitative research was conducted on Korea-Vietnam multicultural families and Korean families. The surveys of the Korean families were completed by 250 married women in Seoul, and those of Korea-Vietnam multicultural families by 104 married Vietnamese women living in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Incheon. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test, crosstabs and ${\chi}^2$-test. The findings are as follows: First, the comparison of clothing behaviors of the Korean families and the Korea-Vietnam multicultural families found that they had statistically significant differences in values towards clothes, clothes shopping orientation and clothes purchasing behaviors. The Korean women were more involved in clothes and fashion-oriented than their Vietnamese counterparts. However, the Vietnamese women in their 20s were likely to rely more on social trends than their own needs when purchasing clothes compared to their Korean counterparts. Korean families preferred to shop in department stores, while the multicultural families relied more on discount stores and outlets. Second, the comparison of the Korean families and the Korea-Vietnam families in attitudes toward their own traditional dresses and how often to wear them showed statistically meaningful differences. The Korean group had more negative attitudes toward Hanbok, the Korean traditional dresses than the Vietnamese group. The Vietnamese women showed more interest in information on Hanbok than their Korean counterparts. They also were wearing the Korean traditional dresses more often than the Korean families. In addition, the Vietnamese women showed a stronger tendency than the Korean women that they took pride in their country's traditional dresses and believed that they were beautiful.

  • This study explores the general marketing ethics among Koreans and helps us understand bu such as bribery, unfair price increases, and so on. By examining msiness ethics in Korea. Based on a scenario approach, we focus on the ethical problems developed or identified from previous research in the western countries. We find that the people in our sample perceive the relative seriousness of ethics problemsarketing-related ethical issues, first we find the differences in how the young and old recognize business ethics. Specifically the younger generation in Korea shows less ethical reaction in general because they have not developed a long-term perspective. Moreover the older generation shows less ethical attitude towards bribery. Second, we confirm the findings in Zey-Ferrell et al (1991) that all individuals think they are more ethical than others. We also discuss other demographic variables related issues that might affect the business ethics in Korea.
