Most of previous research regarding well-being in local study is psychological well-being dealt with individual health and psychological satisfaction. On the other hand, social well-being is likely to focus on public relation rather than private concerns. The fact that the term 'well-being' have not been definitely defined yet was a problem in research. Also, well-being should not be recognized as a temporary trend but as a general trend. Therefore, it is necessary to understand consumer behavior which is changeable as the circumstance of the foodservice industry changes.

It is incontestable that the essence of the current fever of well-being is pseudo-ideology, which is the commercialized well-being. Nevertheless, the potential value as the cultural contests of Korean Design, reaching the philosophy of well-being, must not be overlooked. Being more than its dictionary meaning of 'happiness' and 'welfare', well-being aims peace of mind and richness in mentality, thus supports the life style of 'Body-Mind Monism'. As a trend that has taken a ride on the consumerism, it is inevitable to excavate the benign cultural value that an ordinary sign of well-being lacks in order to create a peculiar model of Korea's design contents by sublimating the commodity aesthetic of well-being into an alternative argument possessing the cultural identity of Korea. Well-being, not much different form an attitude of following the 'ways of nature', is a typical model of non-dualistic thinking of East Asia. By tracing back to the indication of well-being that already existed in the non-dualistic thought and design of East Asia, the genealogy connecting the current phenomena of well-being to the Body-Mind Monism can be found in the cultural traditions of as close as Korea and as far as East Asia. In the case of adopting the monistic way of East Asian thinking that sees body and mind as one not two as the theoretical background of well-being imported fro the West, it is expected to provide a solution for the design discourse of Korea to be out of colonialism. Well-being contributes to the monistic awareness in the period of self-reflected modernization, which needs to search new values based on the reconsideration of dualistic paradigm centered on the Western culture, thus it is worth putting anticipation on the potential significance well-being would have in the field of national as well as international design world.
The purpose of this study was to explore the consumers' attitude and expectation-satisfaction on well-being products, Consumers' expectation, performance and disconfirmation scales were composed 7 items of 5-likert scales. Consumers' Satisfaction on well-being products was measured with one-item-measurement scale, The consumers' well-being attitudes were composed 4 dimensions such as (1)consuming the well-being products, (2)pursuit of mental well-being, (3)criticism about commercial fashion, (4) pursuit of harmony with natural life. The results were as follows: 1. The well-being attitudes were contrast with a positive attitude and negative attitude, Especially, criticism about commercial fashion was highly remarked. 2. There were statistic differences in the consumers' expectation and performance on well-being products, The Expectation was higher than the performance. It means that consumers' high expectation on the well-being products will bring about the lower satisfaction or dissatisfaction. 3. Consumers' Satisfaction on the well-being products was statistically different among groups by the well-being attitudes.

Recently, the health-pleasure trend, which means enjoying health care through exercise or diet and certifying it on SNS is spreading to the MZ generation. This study examined the effect of personality traits on SNS upload behavior and subjective well-being related to health care. As a result, 1) parallel comparison and narcissism had a positive effect on the SNS upload attitude and intention, and the downward comparison had a negative effect on both SNS upload variable. Self-esteem had a positive effect only on the attitude of uploading SNS. Next, 2) self-esteem had a positive effect on both subjective well-being, while narcissism had a negative effect on stress, and parallel comparisons had a positive effect on life satisfaction. In other words, it was confirmed that comparisons with similar people had a positive effect on SNS upload behavior and their subjective well-being, while health care for self-show or recognition of others had a negative effect on their subjective well-being. The results of this study should be actively reflected not only for the marketing market but also for a media and cultural environment in which the MZ generation can lead a healthy life.

The results of this study were as follows: 1) The result of CFA and the reliability test on well-being consciousness and appearance management of Korean and Japanese respondents clearly showed factorial structures on each of the variant assessments. 2) In regards to the well-being consciousness, Korean and Japanese respondents highly tended to perceive well-being as a benefit to the physical health and an eco-friendly lifestyle respectively. In the area of appearance management, Korean and Japanese respondents had similar patterns that showed high scores of skin care and weight control. Both Korean and Japanese consumers showed favorable attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetic products. 3) The consumers' well-being consciousness revealed to have positive influences on appearance management behavior. Both well-being consciousness and appearance management positively influenced attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetics. 4) As a result of MGA, the well-being consciousness had more positive impacts on Korean respondents' attitudes toward Korean herbal cosmetics than the appearance management variable when compared to the Japanese respondents. On the other hand, appearance management had more positive impacts on Japanese respondents' attitudes to-ward Korean herbal cosmetics than well-being consciousness when compared to the Korean respondents. These results suggest that differentiated marketing strategies for Korean herbal cosmetics are crucial when targeting Korean and Japanese consumers.
