  • An industrial growth needs high quality of productivity and accuracy. So, the needs of power electronics became pressing. Recently both interest and demand about the technique of power electronics systems has been increased. Though power electronics has a lot of strong point, there are several problems which are harmonic effect, EMI(Electromagnetic Interference), malfunction of electric machinery, harmful effect on human, audible noise and so on. Because these problem are a potent influence on motor, so there needs the manufacture and redesign of motor. The real motors of industrial application have designed and manufactured on the basis of confidence. The study on motor using utility power source was verified sufficient to identify confidence of electric machinery on utility power source. However, a study on confidence is in progress about pulse source by switching device. An advanced company are studying to solve this problem. In this research, it is studied that each variables effecting motor reliability have correlation through experiment and more over forecasting the reliability of motor under inverter operation.

Effects of the Educational Environment on Studio Apartment Prices : Focusing on Deposit and Monthly Rental Rates in Seoul (교육환경이 주거용 오피스텔의 가격에 미치는 영향 : 서울 전월세거래를 바탕으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the educational environment on the prices of studio apartments, known as officetels, in Korea. Since the revision of relevant laws in 2010, they have served as substitutes for residential purposes in areas suffering from housing shortage, especially where the educational environment is a significant factor. To assess the relation between the educational environment and rental rates, the hedonic price model and artificial neural networks were implemented. The national assessment of the academic performance of middle and high schools that were closest to each officetel, and the ratio of students going to special-purpose schools and private high schools were considered as independent variables. Research findings indicated that the positive effect of the dependent variable increased as the value of educational environment-related variables increased. This result could be utilized as a functional index for housing providers after considering educational environments.

  • This paper presents an improved system identification methodology for structural systems by applying static compliance dominant (SCD) frequencies. The existing sensitivity-based system identification technique is extended to adopt the static compliance dominant frequencies, and the performance of the additional spectral information, i.e., SCD frequencies, is compared with that of the natural frequencies only via a numerical example of a mechanical system. The results of the numerical study indicate that the additional use of the SCD frequencies improves accuracy in system identification problems.

Effects of Manufacturing Process Variables on Characteristics of Microcapsules with Self-Healing Agent (제조공정변수에 따른 자가치료용 마이크로캡슐의 특성 고찰)

  • In this study, manufacturing process for microcapsules with the self-healing agent was introduced and the characteristics of microcapsules manufactured by varying with various manufacturing process variables were evaluated through a particle size analyzer, an optical microscope, and a TGA. Urea-formaldehyde resin was used for the thin wall of microcapsules and DCPD (dicyclopentadiene) was used for the self-healing agent. The various manufacturing process variables, such as (1) 24hr, 40hr, 48hr, 60hr of the solution time of the EMA copolymer, (2) pH3.5, pH4.0, pH4.5 of the hydrogen ion concentration of the emulsified solution, (3) 400rpm, 500rpm, 600rpm, 1000rpm of the agitation speed of the emulsified solution, (4) $50^{\circ}$, $55^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$ of the reaction temperature of the emulsified solution, were considered. According to the results, the particle size distribution of microcapsules was affected on the agitation speed, and the thermal stability of microcapsules was influenced by the solution time of the EMA copolymer, the hydrogen ion concentration, and the reaction temperature of the emulsified solution. Therefore, suitable manufacturing process variables should be applied to obtain thermally stable microcapsules capable of containing the healing agent capable until the thin wall of microcapsules were to be burned.

  • According to the structure, solenoid valve can be categorized as spool valve or poppet valve. While various research on spool valve which has simple structure and fine susceptibility to contamination has been conducted, poppet valve which has less susceptibility to contamination and advantage in a long time operation still need much research because of its complicated structure. In order to design the poppet valve, various parameters such as the diameter of the poppet, the angle of the poppet, the diameter of the disk, the spring stiffness, the spring preload and flow path structure should be considered. Conventional studies on poppet valve usually take only one design parameters and did not much focused on the effect of the parameters on flow characteristics. In this paper, the change of the flow characteristics according to the design parameters of the poppet valve for 3/2Way solenoid valve is analyzed. The previous studies and the results of initial model analysis was referred for the selection of the design parameters. The effects of design parameters on maximum pressure, minimum pressure, and pressure drop was examined using analysis of means(ANOM).

  • TV 부라운관 유리를 생산하기 위한 용해 공정은 원료의 투입에서부터 유리물이 생성될 때 까지 고온의 화확적 작용을 거친다. 유리몰을 생성하기 위한 여러 가지 조건중에서 용해로 내부에서의 유리몰의 온도 변화 및 이에 따른 제반 공정변수의 조정 설정치(Set-up)는 불량률에 밀접한 영향을 미친다. 그러나 고온의 밀폐된 환경에서 반응이 진행되므로 공정의 운전 요원들은 그들의 경험을 바탕으로 용해로의 운전상태를 파악하고 운전해 나간다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 경험적 판단에 따른 위험성을 가능한 한 줄이고 용해로의 안정적인 운영을 통하여 불량률을 감소시키기 위하여 용해로 최적 Set-up 예측 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 일정 기간 동안의 용해로서 운전 상태와 불량률간의 관계를 신경망 기법을 이용하여 학습한 후에, 이를 이용하여 불량률을 유지하기 위한 Set-up 값을 예측하여 준다.

Prediction of Seasonal Nitrate Concentration in Springs on the Southern Slope of Jeju Island using Multiple Linear Regression of Geographic Spatial Data (지리 공간 자료의 다중회귀분석을 이용한 제주도 남측사면 용천수의 시기별 질산성 질소 농도 예측)

  • Nitrate concentrations in springs at the southern slope of Jeju Island were predicted using multiple linear regression (MLR) of spatial variables including hydrogeological parameters and land use characteristics. Springs showed wide range of nitrate concentrations from <0.02 to 86 mg/L with a mean of 20 mg/L. Spatial variables were generated for the circular buffer when the optimal buffer radius was assigned as 400 m. Selected regression models were tested using the p values and Durbin-Watson statistics. Explanatory variables were selected using the adjusted $R^2$, Cp (total squared error) and AIC (Akaike's Information Criterion), and significance. In addition, mutual linear relations between variables were also considered. Small portion of springs, usually <10% of total samples, were identified as outliers indicating limitations of MLR using circular buffers. Adjusted $R^2$ of the proposed models was improved from 0.75 to 0.87 when outliers were eliminated. In particular, the areal proportion of natural area had the greatest influence on the nitrate concentrations in springs. Among anthropogenic land uses, the influence of nitrate contamination is diminishing in the following order of orchard, residential area, and dry farmland. It is apparent quality of springs in the study area is likely to be controlled by land uses instead of hydrogeological parameters. Most of all, it is worth highlighting that the contamination susceptibility of springs is highly sensitive to nearby land uses, in particular, orchard.

안테나 구조 변화에 따른 디스플레이 공정용 ICP 장비의 플라즈마 시뮬레이션

  • 플라즈마 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 디스플레이 공정용 안테나 유도 결합 플라즈마 시스템에서의 플라즈마 변수들에 대한 공간분포를 살펴 보았다. 디스플레이 공정용 챔버 규격은 8세대, 안테나의 turn수는 4turn을 기본으로 하여 안테나 코일의 분할을 각각 4개 분할, 9개 분할로 구분하여 시뮬레이션을 진행한 결과 안테나 배치의 차이에 의한 플라즈마 밀도, 온도, 전위차의 공간분포의 균일도의 차이를 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • 1. 서론 및 이론적 배경 : 지구 온난화에 의한 생태계 변화의 위해 문제가 대두됨에 따라 온난화의 주요인인 이산화탄소를 발생원으로부터 분리, 회수하는 기술에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 최근에는 이러한 기술 중에서 에너지가 적게 소요되며 환경 친화적인 분리막 공정에 의한 CO$_2$의 효율적인 분리, 회수법이 하나의 대안으로 연구되고 있다. 분리막 기술 중 함침액막법은 고분자막의 장점을 이용하면서도 투과도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있는 장점이 있어 최근에 액막을 이용한 CO$_2$/N$_2$혼합가스의 분리, 회수연구도 수행되고 있다. 순수한 물에 대한 CO$_2$의 용해도는 8x10$^{-6}$/cmHg이며, N$_2$는 1.55x10$^{-7}$/cmHg 로서 대략 50배 정도의 용해도 차를 보이고 있는데 이러한 물에 대한 기체의 높은 용해도 차를 이용하면 효과적으로 CO$_2$를 분리,회수할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 물을 함침한 액막을 이용하여 CO$_2$/N$_2$를 분리하였으며 혼합기체의 조성, 기체의 압력 등의 변수가 액막에 의한 CO$_2$의 분리에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다.

과도현상 데이터를 이용한 영광 3호기 증기발생기 모델 개발

  • 영광 3호기에서 발생한 부하탈락으로 인만 과도현상 때의 운전 데이터를 이용하여 전체의 운전 영역에서 잘 맞는 증기 발생기의 모델을 개발하였다. 모델링 기법으로는 유전자 알고리즘이 사용되었으며, 모델은 물리변수(물리적 의미를 갖는 변수)를 갖는 함수들로 구성하였다. 과도현상시의 데이터를 이용하여 증기발생기의 시변 특성을 직접 추정하기 위해 일부 물리변수를 급수온도에 대해 비선형으로 정의하였다. 잘 알려져 있는 실측 데이터를 사용하는 모델링 기법들은 선형 시불변 계에서만 적용이 가능하여 증기발생기와 같이 강한 시변 특성을 보이는 계의 모델링에 과도현상 때의 데이터를 적용할 수 없다. 물리변수를 직접 추정하면 물리적 원칙에 의해 값의 범위가 주어지며 운전 경험 또는 개략적인 데이터의 분석에 의해 예상되는 값의 범위를 비교적 작게 정할 수 있으므로 유전자 알고리즘의 적용에 유리하다. 얻어진 모델은 영광 3호기 운전원 훈련용 시뮬레이터와 발전소 설계 자료에 의해 검증되었다. 이 모델은 제어기의 설계 및 조정과 증기유량 측정 계열의 비선형 교정에도 사용될 수 있다.
