A Study on the Optimization of Temperature Deviation of Loads in Smart Reefer Container (스마트냉동컨테이너의 적재부 온도 편차 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • In a reefer container, temperature deviation occurs between the front of the loading part with the refrigerator and the rear of the loading part with the container door due to the external environment. In particular, this temperature deviation in the transport of fresh cargo has a great influence on the freshness of the cargo. In this study, we propose a method to minimize the temperature deviation by partially shielding the T-Floor to reduce the temperature deviation and evaluating the effect of the T-Floor shielding rate on the temperature change of the reefer container loading part. The subject of the experiment was a 40 feet smart reefer container, and the T-Floor shielding rates were set to 0%, 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80%. As a result of the experiment, it occurred differently in the temperature deviation of the reefer container loading part according to the shielding rate, and it was confirmed that the temperature deviation was the most uniform when the shielding rate was 60%. By minimizing the temperature deviation of the loading part, it is possible to prevent corruption and cold damage of cargo during transportation of fresh cargo by using the smart reefer container.

  • The fuzzy controller of the FFH(Fuel Fired Heater) used for vehicle is designed in this study. Two of the most important things of the pre-heater are how fast it can be at the set temperature and how to reduce the temperature deviation in the space to a minimum. The temperature deviation of the existed FFH with PI controller for temperature controller was reduced. Also, the fuzzy controller improved the response characteristics, and then the performance was inspected. When setting the temperature in this designed fuzzy controller, it took 12 minutes in the existed PI control method to reach $25^{\circ}C$. However, it took 9 minutes and 20 seconds in the fuzzy control method. Therefore, it is proved that the fuzzy controller is better than the existed one with fast response performance as 2 minutes 40 seconds. The temperature deviation was $2.4^{\circ}C$ in the existed control method but $1.6^{\circ}C$ in the designed fuzzy controller. Accordingly, the temperature deviation was improved too.

  • The temperature difference occurs at the test points of chamber, because the traditional Test Handler consists of a heater and a fan. To reduce the temperature variation at different points in the chamber, we divided the heater to three parts which are controlled independently. First, we identified the chamber's parameter and then designed a LQG controllers by the identification model. RTD sensors and VME system were used to construct the temperature control system. In our experiment for the proposed control system, the temperature variation was reduced from ${\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$ to ${\pm}0.35^{\circ}C$ at 50$^{\circ}C$ ${\cdot}$ 80$^{\circ}C$ and 120$^{\circ}C$.

Effect of Pipes Layout and Flow Velocity on Temperature Distribution in Greenhouses with Hot Water Heating System (방열관의 배치와 관내 유속이 온수난방 온실의 온도분포에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to provide basic data for uniformization of temperature distribution in heating greenhouses, heating experiments were performed in two greenhouses with a hot water heating system. By analyzing heat transfer characteristics and improving pipes layout, measures to reduce the variation of pipe surface temperature and to improve the uniformity were derived. As a result of analyzing the temperature distributions of two different greenhouses and examining the maximum deviation and uniformity, it was found that the temperature deviation of greenhouses with a large amount of hot water flow and a short heating pipe was small and the uniformity was high. And it was confirmed that the temperature deviation was reduced and the uniformity was improved when the circulating fan was operated. The correlation between the surface temperature of the heating pipe and the indoor air temperature was a positive correlation and statistically significant(p<0.01) in both greenhouses. It was confirmed that the indoor temperature distribution in a hot water heating greenhouse was influenced by the surface temperature distribution of heating pipe, and the uniformity of indoor temperature distribution could be improved by arranging the heating pipe to minimize the temperature deviation. Analysis of the heat transfer characteristics of heating pipe showed that the temperature deviation increased as the pipe length became longer and the temperature deviation became smaller as the flow rate in pipe increased. Therefore, it was considered that the temperature distribution and the uniformity of environment in a greenhouse could be improved by arranging the heating pipe to shorten the length and controlling the flow velocity in pipe. In order to control the temperature deviation of one branch pipe within $3^{\circ}C$ in the tube rail type hot water heating system most used in domestic greenhouses, when the flow velocity in the pipe is 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, $1.0m{\cdot}s^{-1}$, the length of a heating pipe should be limited to 40, 80, 120, 160, 200m, respectively.

Study on Temperature Control and Optimal Design for Continuous Sterilizer (연속 살균기의 온도제어 및 최적설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the problems of a batch-type sterilizer and design a continuous sterilizer to control the temperature deviation. The temperature deviation is analyzed with respect to design parameters such as a nozzle diameter, hole diameter, and nozzle length. The significant temperature parameters are optimized using the response surface methodology. An experimental apparatus is developed using the optimized design parameters. Using a field test, we show that the target temperature is obtained in about 7.3 minutes and the temperature deviation is improved about $0.84^{\circ}C$. The optimized parameters from the test are equal to the analytical parameters.

  • 본 연구는 화력 및 원자력 발전소로 취입된 냉각수(circulating and essential service water)가 복수기로부터 온배수 형태의 개수로 흐름으로 표층배수 될 경우 수온을 저감시키기 위해 주입하는 희석수(by-pass cooling water)와의 혼합효과의 효율성을 증대시키고, 불리한 수리현상을 야기하지 않으며, 경제적인 배수로 구조물을 고찰하기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 배수로 구조물 내 온배수와 희석수가 혼합되는 구간을 혼합지(mixing basin)라 하는데, 본 과업에서는 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$발전소의 배수로 구간 중 혼합지를 대상으로 FLOW-3D$^{(R)}$를 이용한 3차원 수치모형을 구축하고, 총 9개에 해당하는 각 대안별 현상을 분석하고 비교하였다. 각 대안들의 차이점은 배수로에 설치되는 보조구조물들의 형상과 배열 등이며, 복수기로부터 나오는 배출수의 수온은 $42^{\circ}C$, 희석수는 $35^{\circ}C$이고, 본 과업의 주요 관심대상 물리량은 유속과 온도이다. 배수로에 아무런 보조 구조물이 없는 형태인 기본 계획안을 검토한 결과, 평균 $3.31^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어졌으나, 우안 쪽으로 강한 흐름이 발생하여 수온의 좌우편차가 $4.61^{\circ}C$ 가량 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 기본 계획안의 검토결과를 보완하기 위한 대안으로 연직 흐름의 소산을 위해 고안된 잠형 소파블록(baffle block) 설치안은 평균 $3.06^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어지고 $4.44^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차가 발생했다. 지그재그(zigzag) 형태의 흐름을 만들어 혼합효과를 올리기 위한 미로형 수제(labyrinth groin) 설치안은 평균 $5.33^{\circ}C$의 수온강하가 이루어지고, $1.43^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차를 보여줘 검토했던 대안들 중 가장 좋은 결과를 보여주었다. V자 배열 소파블럭(deformed block) 설치안은 연직 및 수평방향의 소산을 기대했으나 평균 $3.00^{\circ}C$의 수온 강하와 $4.41^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차를 나타냈다. 벤츄리(Venturi) 형태의 흐름을 발생시키기 위한 병목형(bottleneck) 수로안은 평균 $3.18^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $3.94^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 흐름의 소산과 흐름방향을 변화시키기 위한 와형 수제(swirl groin) 설치안은 평균 $2.24^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $1.48^{\circ}C$의 수온좌우편차, 우안 흐름을 지연시키기 위한 물방석(water cushion) 수로안은 평균 $3.03^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $4.50^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 우안의 흐름을 좌안으로 보내기 위한 분사형(injector) 수로안은 평균 $3.13^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $4.45^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차, 우안의 흐름을 막기 위한 외팔형 수제(cantilever groin) 설치안은 평균 $3.11^{\circ}C$의 수온강하와 $3.02^{\circ}C$의 수온 좌우편차가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper presents a circuit design aimed at generating the required reference voltage and temperature sensor voltage in conjunction with an ADC, utilizing the current generated by temperature characteristics of BJT components for sensor data conversion. Additionally, two control methods are introduced to reduce the standard deviation of the circuit, resulting in over a ten-fold decrease in standard deviation. The proposed circuit occupies an area of 0.057mm2 and was implemented using 55nm RF process.

Preliminary Study on Detection of Marine Heat Waves using Satellite-based Sea Surface Temperature Anomaly in 2017-2018 (인공위성 해수면온도 편차 이용 한반도 연안 해역 고수온 탐지 : 2017-2018년도)

  • In this study, marine heat waves on coastal waters of Republic of Korea were detected using satellite-based Sea Surface Temperature Anomaly (SSTA). The detected results were compared with the warm water issues reported by the National Institute of Fisheries Science (NIFS). Marine heat waves detection algorithm using SSTA based on a threshold has proposed. The threshold value was defined as 2℃ for caution and 3℃ for warning issues, respectively. Daily averaged SST data from July to September of 2017-2018 were used to generate SSTA. The satellite-based detection results were classified into nine areas according to the place names used in the NIFS warm water issues. In the comparison of frequency of marine heat waves occurrence to each area with the warm water issue, most areas in the southern coast showed a similar pattern, that is probably NIFS uses spatially well distributed buoys. On the other hand, other sea areas had about two times more satellite detection results. This result seems to be because NIFS only considers the water temperature data measured at limited points. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of a satellite-based warm/cold water monitoring system in coastal waters.

A Study on the Characteristic of Declination Forward Action of Digital Temperature Controller using air Cool-Heating (냉난방용 디지털 온도조절계의 편차 정동작 특성에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 냉, 난방 디지털 온도 조절계(SPC 50)의 Etl의 편차 정 동작에 관한 구현장치 제작과 비례 미.적분기가 At 및 비 At기능에서 설정온도를 $100^{\circ}C$를 유지하는데 기인된 전압전류 및 전력데이터 획득의 요인과 비례미적분 정수 및 노 개선점을 연구하였다. 설정온도를 유지하는 온도변화는 At기능에서 $96.7^{\circ}C\sim102^{\circ}C$ 이며, 비At 기능에서는 $97.6^{\circ}C\sim100.2^{\circ}C$이었다. 온도유지 전압변동은 At기능에서 2V~217V이며, 비 At기능에서 20V~217V 이었다. At와 비 At 기능에서 설정온도 $100^{\circ}C$을 유지하는데 온도를 냉각시키는 환풍기가 온. 오프 되는 시간차는 20초 정도 발생하였다. 온도차 및 전압차는 두 기능간에 비례 미. 적분값 설정이 자동 및 수동이냐에 따라서 차이를 보여주었다. 두 기능에서 설정된 온도값 유지에 따른 전압전류의 승압과 하강의 변동된 변환 데이터는 설정된 온도가 성취되어지는 시간차 및 설정값 유지의 특성을 요인으로 한 PID값과 노의 개선점에 길잡이가 된다.

Design and Fabrication of the Digital Iron Using the Micro-processor (마이크로프로세서를 이용한 디지털 전기인두기의 설계 및 제작)

  • The digital iron using ${\mu}$ processor is designed and compared experimentally with the conventional analog Iron. Designed digital iron shows two improved temperature control characteristics. First, the reduction of the difference error between the user setting temperature and the real temperature of the iron tip is examined. When the iron temperature is set to $200[^{\circ}C]$, $300[^{\circ}C]$, $400[^{\circ}C]$, $480[^{\circ}C]$ at the environmental temperatures of $-5[^{\circ}C]$ and $25[^{\circ}C]$, it is examined that the tip temperature is very stable and its error is within ${\pm}1.8[^{\circ}C]$. Second, it is conformed that the temperature fluctuation of the iron due to the soldering is reduced manifestly. When the temperature of iron tip is varied from $200[^{\circ}C]$ to $480[^{\circ}C]$ with 1[g] solder, the temperature errors of the analog iron are measured to be from $6[^{\circ}C]$ to $10[^{\circ}C]$. In case of designed digital iron, however, these errors are much smaller and they are from $2[^{\circ}C]$ to $5[^{\circ}C]$.
