  • It is very important to use the raw material in a particular field of research or education. Research without raw materials are difficult to prove and often remain hypothesis. The use of the raw material is also important in area studies that study specific areas. However, research of area studies, especially Western history, raw material and historical archives are very important data, but it is difficult to obtain and refer to these data due to physical or spatial constraints. In order to solve this problem, there is a method of collecting and providing historical archives, but it is currently difficult to find a case of providing overseas historical archives as a web system in Korea. Accordingly, in this paper proposes the necessity of collecting historical archives, the method of collection, and the method of digital archiving of collected data structurally and systematically. In this regard, investigate the existing research cases on the archive system and database design, and it description the differentiation between the existing systems and the modeling method proposed in this study. Also, to improve the efficiency of the search, it proposes a method of adding a tag table when database modeling.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop regional dance contents in order to receive attention from the region and re-illuminate the peacock fan, the intangible cultural property of Seocheon, Chungnam, which has been preserved in history and has been preserved in the face of rapid urbanization and modernization. The representative four series are composed of one-person dance, two-person dance, military dance, and creative dance. The titles of each piece are basic dance , male and female love dance , military dance , and finally Korean creative dance . The commonality of the four series is the traditional dance using peacock fan, and each dance showed unique emotion and atmosphere through different themes and music, costumes, and stages. It was found that the development of regional dance contents re-created reflecting the characteristics of regional cultural heritage should create an environment that can be steadily revitalized through modernization. Through this study, it was found that the intangible cultural properties, which are our traditional cultural resources, have unlimited potential to contribute to enhancing regional and national competitiveness along with the growth potential of regional differentiation. Through such research, if existing cultural resources are preserved for globalization and produced as contents that can be easily accessed by the public, various contents besides regional dance using regional unique culture can be developed and utilized.

  • The Wonju Nongyo (agricultural work song) is geographically classified as eastern minyo (folk song) which has many distinctive, regional features such as tunes, forms and the use of a melodic line. There has been growing attention to the transmission value of the nongyo including the Wonju Eorirang of the Wonju Origol Nongyo and its region of origin. The Wonju Nongyo is of great value and worthy of preservation in the western part of Gangwon Province. For this reason, it seems fairer to say that a focus should be directed towards establishing the identity of the song and increasing the contextualisation of transmission. At the same time, the preservation association's efforts in passing the traditional song down and education activities fairly deserve equal attention. In addition to the way the folk songs are handed down, a discussion on the facilitation of their use will be required. An in-depth discussion about the restoration and use of the song will be encouraged in a multifaceted manner. Unfortunately, few of the previous literatures on nongyo has gone so far as to investigate Arirang as a separate research topic. In fact, the Wonju Origol Nongyo should be viewed as an intangible cultural asset that paved the way for performance artistry of the Korean agricultural work songs to be seen at a national folk art festival. From the perspective of regional characteristics (traditionally termed "tori"), the Wonju Eorirang represents the cultural value of the manners and customs of our locals which constitute unwritten and neglected literary property and musicality of the song. Particularly, a more attention should be paid to making a record of woodcutters and diversity of farmers' small cooperative groups. The existence of the Wonju Eorirang indicates that the melodies to which the song are sung in Nongyo are of infinite variety. A minyo-singer unfolds various journeys of life through various modes and structure of epic chants, ranging from first encounter, love to marriage, realistic problems to relationship with husband's family and death. The epic chant of the Wonju Origol Nongyo contains a rich variety of regional sentiments about life. In particular, the epic chants of the Galtteukgisor and Ssoeltteukgisori are a genius example of sexual satire and a sense of humor. In the past, the agricultural work songs were rhythmic songs served to synchronize physical movements in groups, coordinating tasks in upland farming and rice paddy with the usage of catchy, repetitive verses easy to pass down. The Wonju Origol Nongyo is a precursor of the work songs which took the farming activities a notch higher to be part of the excitement and festivals. In the context of transmission, a festival serves to demonstrate the value of history and life. The value of the Wonju Eorirang should be appreciated and a concerted effort should be made to find a way to facilitate the transmission of the folk song. A folk-singer is a traditional oral poet and a storyteller of minyo and the forms and species of melody solely depend on the signer. The combination of performance and witticism is shown by the singer freely expressing himself. The Origol Nongyo symbolizes ethnic arts cleverly combining playful effects such as tune, rhythm and old agricultural work of the region. It is to be hoped that much of the efforts is directed to designating such folk songs as the archetype of a cultural heritage. In terms of the foundation on which the folk songs are transmitted, the usage(Performance Content) of a community would be an alternative.

  • Topophilia refers to emotional bonding such as attachment to or nostalgia for one's home town, which is remembered or imagined as a beautiful and happy paradise experienced in youth. The time spent in one's home town may have been short, but the associated memories of it are strong and enduring. These can later act as a strong motivator to learn if the correlated emotions are positive. According to archival research conducted on Jooyoung Chung's life, his home town and the things found therein, such as cows, were the principal objects of his topophilia, and later became the driving forces behind his success story. The same applies to Dvorak. Dvorak sublimated his nostalgia for his home town by composing a piece of music on hearing the sound of a train. We can discover diverse rhythms in nature such as sunrises and sunsets, the changing seasons, and even our heart beat. If a melody is added to the rhythm, it transforms into art. And if we seek harmony and principles, it becomes science. In this study, Jeonbuk's nature, places, food, and arts, as represented in its educational resources, are analysed for their ability to give rise to topophilia. To gain some experience of this feeling we recommend that you visit the Jeonju Hanok Village, the value of Gochujang, reverse icespike on Mai Mountain or enjoy the works of the painter Book Choi.

  • This study conducted an experiment using data mining techniques to develop prediction models of worker job turnover. The experiment used data from the '2015 Graduate Occupational Mobility Survey' by the Korea Employment Information Service. We developed the prediction models using a decision tree, Bayes net, and artificial neural network. We found that the decision tree-based prediction model reported the best accuracy. We also found that the six influential factors affecting employees' turnover intention are type of working time, job status, full-time or not full-time, regular working hours per week, regular working days per week, and personal development opportunities. From the decision tree-based prediction model, we derived 12 rules of employee turnover for all job types. Using the derived rules, we proposed helpful directions for enhancing workers' job tenure. In addition, we analyzed the influential factors affecting employees' job turnover intention according to four job types and derived rules for each: office (ten rules), culture and art (nine rules), construction (four rules), and information technology (six rules). Using the derived rules, we proposed customized directions for improving the job tenure for each group.

  • Zou Si Cong is a very significant female artist from the period when China was forming its modern arts and culture. Zou Si Cong, who was influenced by China's political and social upheaval, was born in 1939 and died in 1996. Her actual work period was after China's 'Cultural Revolution' and lasted only 13 years, from 1978 to 1990. Her passion for art never stopped, even when she was suffering from severe arthritis with its torturing pain. There were big changes that occurred in her work; 'Early Work', 'Realistic Work', 'Mine Worker Painting', 'Yi Tribe' Painting', 'Lotus Paintings'. 'Mine Worker Painting', which represented a new figure by abandoning traditional techniques, dividing picture space, and changing and distorting forms, was the one that had the greatest impact of all on a lot of people and strongly influenced modern Chinese figurative painting. The characteristics of Zou Si Cong's work are in its 'Traditionalism', 'Realism, and 'Historical' aspects. Zou Si Cong developed her uniqueness, along with Western expressions, based on traditional Chinese painting techniques. Realism, through realistic rendering, appeared in her figurative paintings during the Cultural Revolution Period. 'Yi Tribe' paintings lively illustrated their lives. She creatively reinterpreted history in the composition of Mine Workers, which is based on the historical record of Chinese barbarity.

  • Animation is showing the highest record in entertainment around the world and writing the history of 3D animation again. The image contents effect thanks to the proper introduction of the state-of-art digital technology, which is one of the causes of the outstanding entertainment and the factual reproduction of the images, provided an opportunity to transmit the meaning of image aesthetics, which is a virtual reality and image reproduction through the reality realization of photo medium, and to reinterpret the boundary of virtual reality. Especially, the development of digital contents technology due to scientific technologies demolishes the boundary of virtual reality and reality and creates the effect of making viewers be absorbed by realizing the virtual reality by means of 3D reality images which highlight the special characteristic of photos. The aspect of the contents technology and image aesthetics which can be interpreted in a view point beyond the existing concept of reality is found in the aura theory of Benjamin and in the Simulacres of Baudrillard. The 3D image by photo-reality herein presents various suggestions in the aspect of real existence of spatial expression, the meaning creation process of reality, the existence value of virtual images.

  • Although Rotoscoping technique has been used for a long time to mimic the natural and smooth motion since the early 20th century, its artistic value was devalued as tricks because it traces the already recorded images. But the fact that the rotoscoping images can cross the boundaries between animation and live action in an infinite integral freedom in the digital era became rather expansive new aesthetic possibilities of representation of the reality. In addition, Jonas Odell's animations such as (2010), (2008), (2006) are good example to prove that the rotoscoping images also can serve as means to enhance its narrative. This study is to analyze how rotoscoping images act as a unique role in relation with the narrative based on the said person's real stories and realistic images. I argue that his animated films constantly contain these three characteristics -Images to mediate Auditory sensitivity as a record of inner metaphysical reality, anonymous images to represent a specific existential character, and images that act as physical representation that holds the physical space/time and related memory. This reveals that rotoscoping images in this digital era went beyond reproduction for natural movements or special type of style. It rather suggests new layers of experience, and acquires new value in animation. I hope that this study could serve as a foundation to rediscover and re-position the value of rotoscoping images as well as good opportunity to introduce very talented swedish animation artist who already received global attention with his unique philosophical and aesthetic style.

  • From 2010, new keyword of so-called devising theatre in the Korean performing arts scene has emerged. The backdrop is the antipathy to the hierarchical creative environment, the search for a language that can reflect increasingly complex societies, and the influx of new performances from abroad. Of course, devising theatre can be realized in a wide variety of forms in the actual field, so it cannot be defined as one methodology. But commonly all these various forms of the attempts aim to create a democratic relationship among participants, and process-centered breakthrough in the hierarchy of creative materials such as texts, sounds. light and human body. In 2017, Creative VaQi seeks to find new keyword called 'Reality of Division in Korean Peninsula' and to develop it into performance languages experimenting inter-disciplinary devising methodology. The company conducted a walking trip alongside the division line(300km) and tried to achieve the landscape and traces of division. After the walking, they created a specific form and performing contents called "Walking Holiday" out of their experiences. In this thesis, I will analyze the whole process of the devising "Walking Holiday" and examine what kind of result it led to. Furthermore, I, as the director of "Walking Holiday" will continue to discuss new possibilities and limitations of devising theatre methods that the company tries and aim at this time.

  • The virtual reality industry has an opportunity to take another leap forward with the surge in demand for non-face-to-face content and interest in the metaverse after Covid-19. Therefore, in order to popularize virtual reality content along with this trend, high-quality content production and storytelling research suitable for the characteristics of virtual reality should be continuously conducted. In order for content to which virtual reality characteristics are applied to be effectively produced through user feedback, a quantitative index that can evaluate the content is needed. In this study, the process of viewing virtual reality contents was analyzed and head movement was set as a quantitative indicator. Afterwards, the experimenter watched five animations and analyzed the correlation between recorded head movement information and immersion. As a result of the analysis, high immersion was shown when the head movement speed was relatively slow, and it was found that the head movement speed can be used significantly as an index indicating the degree of content immersion. The result derived in this way can be used as a quantitative indicator that can verify the validity of the storytelling method applied after the prototype is produced when the creator creates virtual reality content. This method can improve the quality of content by quickly identifying the problems of the proposed storytelling method and suggesting a better method. This study aims to contribute to the production of high-quality virtual reality content and the popularization of virtual reality content as a basic research to analyze immersion based on the quantitative indicator of head movement speed.
