  • Present age are embossing importance and role of tourism industry according to increase of tourists number by internationalization gradually. Susan is necessity to ready our unique cultural special quality that is correct to this because is intending international sightseeing city in APEC, PIFF etc. Specially, the hotel does the mediation deposit role which provides the place it will be able to experience our specific culture in the tourists. The Comodo-Hotel situated in Jung-gu, Susan has elements the Korean traditional culture, but there is problem that these elements is not applied to room interior. Therefore, hotel room remodeling applied to Aesthetic Attributes of the Korea Traditional does so that tourists do it so that may experience our culture familiarly and advances continuously and preserves and inherits our culture together and become universal culture. Target hotel room chooses by Standard-double, Deluxe-twin, Semi-Suite-ondol three type and applies modernity and Traditional characteristics of Korean culture variously and proposes interior remodeling.

  • This study investigates the possibility in establishing the wine theme village in Youngwol area, and grape production and wine industry in world and Korea. Wine import market formed since 1988 in Korea. Because Korean wine production will be finished in 2011, Korean farmers need the strategy against foreign grape and wine importers. That is to establish the wine theme village, one of green tourism. Many pensions and raftsmen are concentrated along the Donggang river, where Geowoun-ri of Youngwol area is located. Possibility in establishing the wine theme village in Geowoun-ri is depend on the attractive program that people enjoy in Youngwol are. The programs have to consist in the regional image.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a management plan of the pop-up library model that is developed as part of the outreach library service recently. Especially this study focused the method for meeting the citizen's right to know by providing various information of the pop-up library in social fields such as a national disasters. The survey and In-depth interview (a volunteer of Sewol ferry disaster and a participant of 2013 Busan International Film Festival) were done for this research. As the results of the investigation, the lack of communication and information between members in constrained situations were pointed pointed out as important problems. With these findings, this study suggested the pop-up library model management plan in information-constrained situations.

  • There has been a change in the production of the movie and techniques of the expression in the digital technology which has been used universally since 2000. As the focus of the production system of the movie has moved from the production procedure centering around filming to the procedure centering around editing used by the digital tools. The flows and boundaries of the production system which is consist of pre-production, production and post-production are getting indistinct. In the point of view of aesthetics and technology, this kind of change expands the creativity and originality for the screenwriters and provides the reality and vitality which haven't been found in previous films for the audience. It also elevates the quality of the movie. However, this ‘illusionary spectacle' has a vulnerable point that shows the aura and details of the movie soundly for the audience.

  • In 1995, the filming location of the drama had been famous, and as a result it brings the effect of increasing tourists of that areas. After that, many local governments try to host the filming on their regions to be potential tourist attractions. With the same stream, Jeonju also has attempted to host International Film Festival and to set up Jeonju Film Commission and Jeonju Cinema Complex. However, although the city already has rich infrastructure facilities to make films, the city hardly tries to use the filming locations as tourist attractions. This study suggests four ways of using filming locations as tourist attractions to activate Jeonju economy and improve Jeonju's cultural image. We firstly collect social bigdata related with tourists of filming locations and tourist attractions in Jeonju from Twitter, which is the most representative SNS, and then perform frequency and trend analysis. We also investigate major factors of visits to tourist's attractions based on content analysis of tweet mentions.

  • A photograph used in a film poster summarizes the story of the film that lasts for around two hours. The image must contain a picture that represents the story and text including the title, with various design elements composed in a harmonious way. However, given that a photograph is the most noticeable element in a film poster, this study aims to examine the function, role, and types of a film poster and analyze poster photographs. Currently, there are companies specialized in photography for film posters, but sometimes recognized photographers are commissioned to take a photograph that will be used for a film poster. Hein-kuhn Oh actively produced such photographs in the early and mid-2000s, and this study deals with 'how the photographs recreate the content of the films' focused on three selected photographs taken by him. Also, There were commonalities found between the tree photographs and Oh's personal portrait photographs, which were then analyzed from the photographic aesthetic point of view.   • The goal of this study is analysing a box office success of The Handmaiden in terms of modified space-time and character. The movie which has original novel induces desire of watching by decreasing property of experience good of movie based narrative of novel. Contrary to novel that is set in Victorian age, the movie changed contents that make a character who realizes masculine of colonialism and women oppressed by man escape through transcending class by adopting period of Japanese occupation. It hereby decreases negative effect by substituting growth and solidarity of women for the element of homosexuality. Also the gender discussion about crimes against female when the movie was running increases factor of sympathy of characters and accord with subject of the movie. Beside that, The reasons of success are detector, star system of actor, effective public marketing of movie trailer and selection of movie won the award for best picture at a film festival.. Movie through adapting novel enhances ability of various creation and blow up appreciation of spectator. The differentiation of adapted hit movie is that the altered content is creative, has subject that corresponding with universal awareness transcending space-time and expresses property of media effectively.

  • A semiotic approach to modern visual arts has emerged since French post-structuralism was introduced to Anglo -American academics by "deconstruction" or "postmodernism."   • As cultural contents are rising to the surface, the contents and interests regarding the industries that utilize the culture become higher than any other times. Culture is performed with memory, and the culture that excludes memory cannot exist. The memory exceeds a dimension of the individual and operates with an assembled and social memory. Furthermore the culture requires media to put memories inevitable. Therefore, recent image texts are coming to the attention as new storage media. So this essay analyzed the meaning of 'memory' as social-cultural memory by putting the sixth generation Chinese movies to the center and restoration of image text that puts memory in it. And also, I examined the cultural meanings of 'individual memories' as the 'counter memory' and tried to find the possibility of junction between memory industry and the contents. I focused on the sixth generation Chinese movies because these movies made remarkable progresses in the international film festivals though they were made in 'underground' by objecting to 'official memory' proposed by the Chinese government.
