  • 국토가 좁은 반면 산지가 많은 우리나라에서는 국가지리정보체계 관리 또는 산림자원의 개발과 보전에 대한 중요성이 매우 크다. 따라서 최근에는 산림지역을 대상으로 한 인공위성 영상의 활용 연구가 소개되고 있다. 위성영상은 지구자원의 탐사와 환경감시를 비롯하여 지형정보의 수집 및 분석 등 다양한 분야에서 높은 활용도를 보이고 있으며, 특히 직접 접근이 불가능하거나 까다로운 지역의 지형지물에 대한 다양한 정보의 취득이 가능하다는 장점을 지니고 있다. 광범위한 지역의 주기적인 정보획득이 가능한 인공위성 영상은 환경탐사분야에서 새로운 대안으로 받아들여지고 있으며, 산림분석에도 활용될 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 식생분류에 유리한 다중분광센서를 가진 Landsat TM 위성영상을 이용하여 산림형태의 변화를 분석하였으며, 이를 주기적으로 모니터링 할 수 있도록 Web 상에 구축하였다. 이를 통하여 누구나 쉽게 넓은 대상지역 산림형태의 주기적 변화를 모니터링 할 수 있으며, 또한 현장조사 자료의 보완에도 효율적으로 사용될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

  • In the steel & iron processing line, some characters are marked for the material management in the surface of material. This paper describes about the developed results of vision system for the recognition of material management characters, which was included in the slab image. Our vision system for the character recognition includes that CCD camera system which acquire slab image, optical transmission system which transmit captured image to the long distance, input and output system for the interface with existing system and monitoring system for the checking of recognition results. We have installed our vision system at the continuous casting line and tested. Also, we have performed inspection of durability, reliability and recognition rate. Through the testing, we have confirmed that our system have high recognition rate, 97.4%.

  • In this paper, we propose a real-tim measurement management system UI development linked the Water treatment facilities broadband Convergence Network. The sensor and the image data received by the server develop a program to interact with Web through water treatment facilities broadband convergence network. So, Separately develop UI capable of independently operating. Building a web server for remote monitoring of the transmission sensor and the image data. And Monitoring and control is possible the sensor data and image data through the Web-based UI. We can grasp the current state such as measurement time, concentration and depth of interface through the proposed real-time measurement management system UI development liked the water treatment facilities broadband convergence network. So, we can check in whether the normal operation of water treatment facilities and whether the casualties such as fire and security. As well as real time to see the information at a glance due to UI development can be raal-time monitoring of real-time measurement management system.

  • 한 해 100만건 이상의 모바일 게임이 출시되고 있으며, 게임 수가 많은 만큼 게임물 등급 관리에 있어서 객관적이고 투명한 업무처리는 필수적이다. 그러나 현재 사업자 자체 등급분류는 오직 게임 개발사가 제출한 서류에 의존하며, 사후 모니터링을 통해 제재하는 실정이다. 이에 따라, 사전에 폭력성 유뮤를 식별할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Cloud Vision API를 활용하여 프레임 수를 설정하고 해당 프레임에 대한 폭력성 정도를 수치로 출력하여 해당 영상에 문제 유무를 사전에 식별할 수 있도록 돕는 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 이 시스템을 통해 게임물관리위원회 인력과 예산 한계로 인해 계속 불거지고 있는 연 100만 건에 달하는 등급분류 처리의 정확성과 사후 모니터링에 효과가 있을 것이다.

  • 영상의 전송에 있어서 단일 채널인 경우 지금까지 많은 연구가 진행되어왔다. 그러나 다채널의 영상을 전송 할 경우에, 여러 채널을 하나로 묶어서 전송하게 되는데. 이 방법에 대한 논의는 그리 활발하지 못하였다. 우리는 이 연구를 통해서 다채널의 영상을 하나로 묶어서 전송하는 시스템과 수신하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이번 연구의 최종 목표는 H.263인코더$^{[1][2]}$ 를 사용하고 마이크로소프트 다이렉트쇼(Directshow$^{TM}$)기술을 이용하여 4 채널의 감시카메라 시스템을 구현하는 것이다.

Hybrid Monitoring Scheme for End-to-End Performance Enhancement of Real-time Media Transport (실시간 미디어 전송의 종단간 성능 향상을 위한 혼성 모니터링 기법)

  • As real-time media applications based on IP multicast networks spread widely, the end-to-end QoS (quality of service) provisioning for these applications have become very important. To guarantee the end-to-end QoS of multi-party media applications, it is essential to monitor the time-varying status of both network metrics (i.e., delay, jitter and loss) and system metrics (i.e., CPU and memory utilization). In this paper, targeting the multicast-enabled AG (Access Grid) group collaboration tool based on multi-Party real-time media services, a hybrid monitoring scheme that can monitor the status of both multicast network and node system is investigated. It combines active monitoring and passive monitoring approaches to measure multicast network. The active monitoring measures network-layer metrics (i.e., network condition) with probe packets while the passive monitoring checks application-layer metrics (i.e., user traffic condition by analyzing RTCP packets). In addition, it measures node system metrics from system API. By comparing these hybrid results, we attempt to pinpoint the causes of performance degradation and explore corresponding reactions to improve the end-to-end performance. The experimental results show that the proposed hybrid monitoring can provide useful information to coordinate the performance improvement of multi-party real-time media applications.

  • Now global climate change is changing environmental factors, such as temperature and precipitation, which have a great effect on crop yields. Accordingly, crop yield forecast is becoming more important to global food supplies and sustainable development of rural areas. Worldwide, many countries, such as USA, China, Canada, and institutions, such as FAO, USDA, NASA, maintain the cooperative relationship to operate the crop monitoring system at both the national and global scale. This paper aims to investigate the current developments of crop monitoring systems in terms of information level, remotely-sensed data, and biophysical parameters, and to propose the direction of the advanced corp monitoring system based on remote sensing.

  • 최근 청소년들은 욕설, 폭력적, 선정적, 비하적 표현을 일상생활에서 자연스럽게 사용하고 있다. 현재 청소년들은 자극적이고 폭력적인 개인 방송을 시청하며 유해 표현을 학습한다. 그래서 여러 기업에서는 모니터링 요원을 배치하거나 사용자들의 신고를 통해 유해 영상을 제재하는 중이다. 하지만 방대한 규모의 동용상 때문에 사람이 직접 모든 영상을 확인하는 것은 물리적으로 불가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자연어 처리 기술을 활용하여 자동으로 유해 영상을 탐지하는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 데이터 수집, 텍스트 변환, 형태소 분석, 유해 사전 구성, 유해 판단 5가지 과정으로 이루어진다.

  • The objective of this study is to design a system that automatically monitors the state of interior spaces like offices where lots of people are coming and going through image data and environment data, which includes temperature, humidity, and other conditions, and implement and test related application programs. In practice, there are lots of image data automatically obtained by unmanned equipments, such as certain types of CCTVs, for monitoring situation in usual interior spaces. This image data can be used as a more effective manner by establishing a system that recognizes situation in specific interior spaces based on the relationship between image and environment data. For instance, it is possible to perform unmanned on/off controls for various electronic equipments, such as air conditioners, lights, and other devices, through analyzing the data acquisited from environment sensors (temperature, humidity, and illumination) as dynamic states are not maintained for a specified period of time. For implementing these controls, this study analyzes environment data acquisited from temperature and humidity sensors and image data input from wireless cameras to recognize situation and that can be used to automatically control environment variables configured by users. Experiments were applied in a laboratory where unmanned controls were effectively performed as automatic on/off controls for the air conditioner and lights installed in the laboratory as certain motions were detected or undetected for a specified period of time.

  • Conventional underwater cameras used in fish farms can only shoot limited areas and are vulnerable to underwater contamination. There is also a problem with contaminated farms as surplus residues are deposited as a result of feed supply to farms' nets. This paper proposes underwater drones for underwater monitoring of fish farms and cleaning nets. If underwater drones are used for management of fish farms, underwater imaging, monitoring and cleaning of fish farms' nets can be possible. By using this technology, data can be collected by detecting changes in the environment of a fish farm and responding to changes that occur within a fish farm based on the data. In addition, the establishment of an integrated control system will enable to build efficient and stable smart farms.
