영구 자석형 구형 모터의 토크 계산 방법 (The torque calculation method of a permanent magnet spherical motor)

  • This paper presents the torque calculation method of a permanent magnet spherical motor. To calculate the torque of the spherical motor by using finite element method (FEM), 3-dimensional FEM must be used. However since it spends too much time and memory in using 3-D FEM, the easier torque calculation method was presented. In this method, it is very important to get the approximation function of the torque profile curve; the authors present the approximation method of the torque profile curve. This paper shows the torque calculation result coming closer to the torque by 3-D FEM.

  • This paper presents a optimum design process for static torque characteristics of the Claw-Poles PM Stepping Motor(CPSM). Since the shape of CPSM changes along with axial direction, CPSM should only be analyzed by 3D-FEM. But 3D-FEM needs too much computation time and computer resources. Therefore, it is essential to reduce the number of 3D-FEM analysis models. In this paper, two design factors which affect the static torque characteristics of CPSM were selected. Optimum design process was able to make progress by using Pattern Search Algorithm and 3D-FEM. Finally, optimized model was compared with a conventional model.

  • This paper presents an efficient calculation method for torque and torque ripple of a permanent magnet synchronous motor by using superposing method of load angle torque curves from finite element method. The load angle range having minimum torque ripple as well as average torque according to load angle can be induced by proposed method. We selected a permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor (PMa-SynRM) as a study model because of its high torque ripple. We performed experiment of torque ripple and average torque according to load angle for the verification of proposed method in the paper.

  • Average torque of PMa-SynRM(Permanent Magnet-assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor) is changed by magnet form inserted to the barrier. Because the magnet form influences to the magnet-torque and reluctance torque. Therefore, this paper present a suitable permanent magnet form design for maximum torque when the magnet quantites are always fixed. And each motor characteristic such as average torque, torque ripple, cogging torque and back-EMF are analyzed by FEM(Finite Element Method) for optimal design..

  • These days, robot-industry development requires a new motor technology. Robot system is more complex than the other machine ones. They need the simplicity and light weight as robot systems. Moreover, They have to become a high energy efficiency machine. For these reasons, in this paper, the 3-degrees of freedom permanent-magnet spherical motor is proposed instead of existing ones. The proposed motor model is analyzed by using FEA(Finite Element Analysis), for comparing the results, torque of the motor is simulated by derived torque function.

  • Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) produces two kind of torque that Magnetic and Reluctance torque. The permanent magnet linkage flux ${\Psi}_a$ and d-axis and q-axis inductances have an important influence on the torque characteristic of IPMSM. Thus their accurate prediction is essential for predicting performance aspect such as the torque and flux-weakening capabilities. In this paper, the influence of barrier width on the ${\Psi}_a$ and $L_d$, $L_q$ is calculated by FEM analysis. Predictions are validated by comparison the average torques, using Maxwell Stress Tensor method.

  • 본 논문은 철도에 사용되는 전차선로-집전계 주행시험기용 고속 리니어 추진시스템의 설계를 제안한다. 여러 가지 다양한 추진시스템 중에서 요구사양을 만족하며 짧은 구간에 높은 가속력을 제공할 수 있는 영구자석형 선형동기전동기를 선택하였다. 설계는 전동기의 특성식과 등가자기회로법을 이용하여 수행하였으며, 유한요소법을 이용하여 이를 검증하였다. 또한 실험계획법을 통하여 추진시스템의 성능에 주요한 영향을 미치는 주 설계인자의 분석을 수행하였다.

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis method of the slotless type Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) using the space harmonic method. Analysis models of the PM and the armature current are described by the magnetization configurations taking into account the 2D and 3D distribution. In 3D analysis, the thrust and normal force can be calculated more accurately, because it can consider the z component flux density which is impossible in 2D analysis. In order to verify the validity of the proposed method, the results of the analytic method are compared with not only the experimental ones but ones of Finite Element Method(FEM).

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motors can be applied to applications requiring wide-speed operation. The current control scheme of an interior permanent magnet synchronous (IPM) motor via feedback linearizing technique is proposed. As the available voltage controlling the armature current is small in transient operations and/or flux-weakening region, the current control performance can be deteriorated. The high performance overmodulation strategy is also proposed to improve the current responses. The control performances are confirmed by simulations.
