This study started with the awareness that the review of the historical origins of Korean broadcasting will be of great significance in exploring the future of Korean broadcasting, and examined the various "origins" of Korean broadcasting - colonial, Cold War, totalitarian, neoliberal. Based on the theoretical background of "media archaeology", the historical 'origin' of Korean broadcasting was applied to track the origin of Hallyu(the Korean Wave) in the 21st century by comprehensively examining the political and economic motives of the time, the state's situational awareness of problems, major broadcasting policies and broadcasting realities. As a result of the study, it came to the tentative conclusion that the historical origin of the Hallyu, which began to be formed in the 1980s, originated from the three origins of Korean broadcasting and the "synthetic mixture" in the subsequent development process.

Hooking 기법은 역사적으로 아주 오래된 기법으로 기원전에 이미 에집트 및 스칸디나 반도의 국가들에서 사용되었다는 기록이 있으나 본격적인 발전은 19세기 초반을 전후하여 미국의 서민층에서 수직양탄자를 제작하는데 사용함으로써 이루어지게 되었다. 이러한 hooking기법은 근래에 들어 섬유계에서도 특수한 목적으로 가끔 사용하여 왔는데, 섬유에 사용하면 시각적인 입체감을 나타내게 되고 독특한 촉감을 얻을 수 있기 때문에 앞으로 섬유계의 다방면에 이용될 수 있는 가능성을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 hooking기법의 역사적배경을 이해하기 위하여 미국에서의 hooked rug의 기원 및 발전에 대하여 문헌을 중심으로 고찰하였다.

대한민국 등대의 역사는 일제가 국외 침략을 목적으로 한반도에 설치한 것에서 시작되었다고 알려져 있다. 이러한 주장에 따르면 1903년 인천에 처음으로 등대가 설치된 이래 일제 강점기를 거치면서 근대적인 항로표지시스템이 구성되었다는 것이다. 그러나 이 점에 대해서는 좀 더 신중하게 고려할 필요가 있다. 국제 항구의 도시로서 그리고 초량왜관의 도시로서 부산은 15세기 초 이래로 한일 외교관계의 중심지였다. 그렇게 때문에 이미 오래전부터 부산에는 해상 국제교류를 위한 항만시설이 발달되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 해양에 관련된 역사자료가 부족하고 기초연구가 미비하여 올바른 역사를 정립하는 것이 어려운 실정이었다. 최근 들어서 부산해관 고문서의 번역이 마무리 되었고, 초량왜관 관련 고지도들을 집성한 자료가 편찬되면서 보다 객관적인 부산의 역사를 정립할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 논문은 고지도와 문서들을 통하여 오래된 국제 항구도시 부산의 초량항에 초점을 두고 부산 등대의 기원에 관하여 고찰하고자 한다.

조선 태조 4년(1395년)에 제작된 천상열차분야지도는 그 원본이 고구려에서 기원된 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 이 천문도의 원석을 조사한 결과 고려 태조 왕건(王建)에 대한 피휘(避諱)가 적용된 별자리가 있음을 알게 되었다. 이것은 천상열차분야지도의 원본이 고구려가 아닌 고려에서 기원했음을 의미한다. 이에 따라 천상열차분야지도의 고구려 기원설에 대한 연구의 역사를 재점검함으로써 그 학설의 근거가 잘못된 단정에 기인함을 알아냈고, 기존 학설에 대한 전면적인 재검토를 하게 되었다. 이 논문에서는 조선은 물론이고 일본과 중국의 다양한 천문도들과 조선의 보천가, 천문류초, 누주통의 등의 문헌, 그리고 고려사, 조선왕조실록, 승정원일기 등의 역사 기록을 전면적으로 조사하여 이러한 피휘(避諱)의 양상을 파악하였다. 그 결과 천상열차분야지도의 원본 성도는 고려시대의 작품일 가능성이 크다는 결론에 도달하였다.

'사회적으로 가장 심각한 질병'이라는 말을 단 한번도 떼어버리지 못한 성병의 역사를 더듬어 올라가보면 기원전으로 까지 거슬러 올라가야 하니, 성병은 인류의 역사와 함께 시작되었다 해도 과언이 아닐 듯 싶다. 이토록 오랜 역사를 가진 성병이 최근들어 더 심각하게 떠오르는 이유는 AIDS라는 새로운 질병의 등장 때문이 아닐까 싶다. 성병이 인류의 역사가 흘러가는 한 퇴치될 수 없는 질병이라 하더라도 예방을 위한 최선의 노력과 치료대책을 수립해 실천하는 것이 개인과 국가에 도움을 주는 일이라 하겠다.

Today linear algebra is one of compulsory courses for university mathematics by virtue of its theoretical fundamentals and fruitful applications. However, a mechanical computation-oriented instruction or a formal concept-oriented instruction is difficult and dull for most students. In this context, how to teach mathematical concepts successfully is a very serious problem. As a solution for this problem, we suggest establishing original concepts in linear algebra from the students' point of view. Any original concept means not only a practical beginning for the historical order and theoretical system but also plays a role of seed which can build most of all the important concepts. Indeed, linear algebra has exactly two original concepts : geometry of planes, spaces and linear equations. The former was investigated in [2], the latter in the present paper.

Social historical geography is interested in geographical elements related with a social group and perceives the diverse dimensions of a geographical phenomenon. The purpose of this study is to examine and interpret the multi-layers of meanings associated with the ancestral places of lineage group, i.e. Bonkwans(本貫)in Korea with a viewpoint to social historical geography. The term Bonkwan does not appear in any historical records prior to ths 10th century. Thereafter it is used continuoushy by lineage groups or by govermment agents till the 17th century. I believe that during this long-term period Bonkwan assumed multiple geographical meanings which varied from period to period, such as residence place, a place of origin, and a place symbolizing power. Each layer of meaning was the product of a certain period and of a cetain lineage. Its first meaning was produced in the early Koryo kingdom. Its second meaning from late in the same kingdom to the early part of Chosun kingdom. In order to understand the meaning of Bonkwan correctively, we need to see it at a large perspective. That is to say, it needs to be viewed in the framework of immigration study of each lineage because the term is more is moreof a social construct than a fixed notion.
