Modern society has required to make maximization of the public benefit for forests. The increased public interest and concern for forests have been resulted from high mechanization of industrial activity associated with development of national economy, expansion of urban population, and necessity of more Leisure time caused by improvement of standard living condition. Attention shifted to the managing of forest (and on the basis of multiple use concept, achieving both public benefit and economic function. Management standards and control must be strengthened on all operations to encompass the various forest resources; outdoor recreation, watersheds, wildlife and fisheries, timber, rangeland, and aesthetic values. Particularly, in order to determine public interests and balance the needs in relation to available resources, more research is essential to develope and activate quantification of these intangeble forest resource values.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the need for smart home service based on the lifestyle of a rapidly growing single household. When we compare the need and the arbitrary service according to the pattern of the lifestyle of the consumer, we try to analyze whether there is an effect on the future use. In the questionnaire survey of 1 person, 8 questions were selected such as food, state, line, leisure, communication, consumption, mobile life, Single household characterization question should be added so that concrete measures can be presented to future services. Competitive smart home services will be presented by examining the lifestyle of the 20th and 30th generation of single households, It is intended to be used as basic data on the direction of development of smart home service of the rapidly increasing single person households, and it is aimed to be a direction of improvement and development direction of the existing plan.

Sports wear in relation to sports life is being developed in fashion industry with increasing leisure time. However, design development for swimwear including trend analysis is still required. In this research, we analyzed design trends in domestic social and cultural environment, and fashion design elements for the development for swimwear. We collected 9,549 picture images totally through 138 swimwear product catalogues in 1970s to 2014, and 8 web sites. We analyzed formative characteristics such as silhouettes, materials, colors, and textile designs. Because of the shorter cycle of social changes, and various trend, design changes of swimwear are getting diverse. Especially, color and textile design are remarkable. Also, new materials and printing technology make the design of swimming wear more comfortable and fashionable. This research would be a basic research for the design development of swimming wear.

The outdoor recreation fever that is drastically increasing in Korea could be the result of the interaction between mass media and popular culture as well as increase of leisure time and disposable income. Thus, the purpose of this study is to specify how the exposure of outdoor recreation through mass media influences potential outdoor recreationists. In order to specify this decision-making process, playfulness, which is the intrinsic characteristic of adults' fun and play, was added to the theory of planned behavior, which has high explanation power regarding human behavior. As a result of the study, it turned out that playfulness significantly influences attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control, and that attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control also significantly influence behavioral intention. These results specify that playfulness is a factor that has a great effect on outdoor recreation that seeks deviant behavior.

The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between festival visitors motivation and satisfaction by visitors' past experiences at Gim-po Culture & Art Festival 2008, Which is the 25th, is holding soon. Gim-po Culture & Art Festival has unique aspect that it is organised various experience programs and items which stress the importance of environment mix in Han river, Gim-po's port, totemism, agriculture and so on. A Study is analysed through research that is consisted of motivation and satisfaction factor's item of 23 local festival visitor to study factors of determination of local festival visitor's motivation and satisfaction level. Data were collected with a structured questionnaire at the 24th Gim-po Culture & Art Festival, 695 sample were used for statistical analysis. This research data is analysed by 4 statistical techniques, which are t-test, Cross-tab analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. As the results of this research, festival visitor's satisfaction were composed of four factors; festival theme, physical facilities, festival information service, souvenir and food. Festival satisfaction and motivation appeared the difference between first-time visitors and repeat visitors. The result of this paper may help festival planner and marketer for festival marketing strategy.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning(MSIP) are promoting the creation of "R & CD clusters" in the Yangje area as a base for future growth engines that will lead the fourth industry. The Yangje area has many large enterprise research institutes and ICT SMEs, and is located in the south part of Seoul and has geographical advantages such as traffic, education, and leisure life. As an initial research for the successful cluster of the Yangje area, quantitative analysis was carried out to identify the status of ICT SMEs in Yangje area using the Korean company information DB and contents of "Korea SMTp 2017 DVD ROM". Qualitative analysis conducted a questionnaire from December 8, 2016 to January 7, 2017 to investigate the R & D activities of ICT companies. Finally, implications for strengthening the R & D capacity of ICT firms in Yangjae area were derived.

Impact of Korea train express (KTX) on the regional economy in Korea has been studied by many researchers. Current research is limited in the lack of quantitative research using a statistical model to study the effect of KTX on regional economy. This paper analyses the influence of KTX to the household final consumption expenditure, which is one of important regional economic index, using spatial panel regression model. The spatial structure is introduced through spatial autocorrelation matrix using adjacency of KTX connection. The result shows a significant effect of Korea train express on the regional economy.

Ecotourism has surged from conflicts between negative impacts of mass tourism and environmental issues. As an alternative tourism, ecotourism compromises extensively environmental, economic, educational, and cultural concerns. Ecotourism can be defined as environment-based tourism that ensures sustainable growth and development through conservation of natural and human environment, promotion of regional economy, and provision of tourism service in natural environment areas. Ecotourism should consider two key challenges; an effective means that may protect local economy through tourist-based income and improvement of residential circumstances, and role as leisure space that can improve tourist's experiences. The purpose of this study was to summarize ecotourism concepts through literature search and develop an ecotourism planning framework for Korean rural communities. In addition, developed planning framework in this study was applied to Jeongdori area, Wandogun, Korea as a case study in order to analyze its feasibility. A trial application in Jeongdori area demonstrated a possibility that ecotourism planning framework can be successfully adopted to a wide range of Korean rural communities. To ensure objectivity of framework, systematic case studies must be done in the future.

As industrial technology advances, convenience is also being developed. Many people living in big cities are commuting using transportation such as buses, taxis, cars, etc. and enjoy leisure, so research is needed to reduce the damages caused by traffic accidents. This study deals with estimating road-level rainfall in real-time. A rainfall observation data and radar data provided by the Korea meteorological administration were collected in real-time to create an integrated database, which was estimated as road-level rainfall by universal kriging method. Besides, we conducted a study to interactively visualization of mash-up road traffic information in real-time with integrating rainfall information.

In modern society, to be achieved status as a Science edutainment experience, not just a science museum is established. It requires strategy and differentiation of a variety of entertainment, including theme parks, games, movies which are youth like. When the understanding of the audience for the principles of science to improve the use of ICT Convergence contents display, you need to take measures to increase the effectiveness of the Science Museum by giving the function of interesting leisure space in addition to the popular area of Science Education, Scientific and Cultural aspects reached. This role requires a science museum as a cultural space with the community as a chapter in science education. Science Museum is not a need to worry about what will convey to the public as efficiently as the Mecca of the educational content for the National Science Education. The analysis of the external environment, the composition will take on science education as a mecca of science education and how to combining ICT convergence technology in modern society beyond mere science museum experience and education in this study.
