본 논문에서는 인터넷 멀티미디어 수화사전 Web-Sign을 설계 및 구현한다. Web-Sign은 여러 가지의 검색조건에 의한 수화동영상을 화면에 출력하고 관련 정보를 쉽게 찾아 볼 수 있는 특징이 있다. 또한 Web-Sign은 100% JAVA로 구현하였기 때문에 플랫폼과 OS의 영향을 거의 받지 않으며, 애플릿과 어플리케이션으로 모두 배포 가능한 장점을 가지고 있다. 웹 브라우저에 의한 접속은 애플릿을 자동으로 지원하며, 어플리케이션을 이용할 경우 모든 데이터는 On-Line 혹은 Off-Line 형태로 전송이 가능하다. 검색방법은 단어입력, 가나다순서별 선택, 동작정보(수위소)선택, 동작화면에 의한 선택, 수화 교과서〔10〕의 챕터순서별로 선택, 주제별 수화분류에 의한 단어선택 등을 이용할 수 있다. 현재까지 등록된 동영상은 현재까지 총 500 여개이며 각 동영상에 대한 시작 및 끝 화면의 정지영상 1000여개와 빠른 전송을 위한 동영상 1000여개를 참고자료로 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 Web-Sign은 많은 검색방법을 가지고 있고, 다양한 정보를 인터넷을 통해 제공할 수 있으므로, 사용자가 쉽게 접근하여 수화를 익힐 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

As a lot of components are developed by CBD methodology, COTS are activated along with fast technology change of software. In this paper, implemented a view that show class diagram and specification of component in web. For this, we classified components in database and each information is used to retrieve through the view.

Due to advances in information technology, even Engineering Simulations can now be performed in web-based JAVA through an integrated operating system called Virtual Machine and the use of byte code, which guarantees the compatibility of identical codes in every computing system and makes it suitable for web-based simulation system development. This paper introduces an implementation embodied in JAVA Applet that allows a block-diagram type GUI that runs in a web browser for use in the dynamics simulation modeling of powertrains of vehicles and multi-body systems. This system is not restrained by any of the H/W and S/W in the user's computer, so that it has the advantage of providing a GUI that allows web-based block-diagram type modeling.

The proposed courseware using Java applets and VRML provides the improved learning methods which can enhance the interests of students. To cope with difficulties of science education presents 3 dimensional anmation function using VRML. The courseware helps students to improve understanding of machine easily seen in our life and interest of science education. It can be widely used to improve the efficiency of science education.

자바가상기계(JVM : Java Virtual Machine)는 실행전에 바이트코드를 확인하는 바이트코드 검증기와 실행환경에서 점검하는 바이트코드 인터프리터를 포함한다. 자바 애플릿은 서비스 거부 공격이나, 사용자를 속이기 위한 조작한 링크 정보를 상태바에 보인다거나, 전자메일을 위조하여 보내는 등의 사용자에 유해한 행위를 할 수 있다. 웹브라우저를 통해 유해한 행동을 하는 클래스에 대해 사전에 바이트코드 수정을 통하여 안전한 클래스로 대체한다. 바이트코드 수정에는 클래스 수준 수정과 메소드 수준 수정이 있다. 클래스 수준 수정은 자바의 상속성을 이용하고. final 클래스나 인터페이스처럼 상속되지 않는 클래스는 메소드 수준에서 바이트 코드 수정을 한다. 메소드 수준 수정은 바이트코드 명령과 Constant Pool을 수정한다. 바이트 코드 수정을 적용하면 웹서버, 클라이언트, 브라우저에 대해 어떠한 별도의 작업도 필요없이 프락시 서버에서 유해클래스를 Safe 클래스로 수정한 후 브라우저에 보인다.

본 연구에서는 인터넷 상 원격진료(Telemedicine)에서 가장 중요한 실시간 데이터공유를 원활히 하기 위해 과도한 지연을 방지할 수 있는 실시간 전송 프로토콜RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol)즉 사용하였다. 또한 자바 애플릿(Applet) 프로그램 구현을 통해 강력한 확장성과 멀티 플랫폼(multi-platform)을 갖으며, JMF를 사용하여 RTP 지원과 멀티미디어 데이터를 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 처리하였다. 이러한 방법을 통해 기존TCP／IP 기반의 응용 프로그램에서 거의 불가능하였던 네트워크 트래픽 제어(Network Traffic control)를 효율적으로 개선하였으며, 영상압축 데이터는 RTP로 전송함으로써 자바가 가지는 확장성을 손상시키지 않으면서 최적화 ,문제를 해결하였다. 또한, 웹 서버 측 데몬(demon)을 제외 한 모든 프로그램을 애플릿으로 구현함으로써 기존의 응용 프로그램 원격진료 시스템 설치 및 제거의 어려움을 없애 누구나 쉽고 빠르게 시스템을 이용할 수 있다. 마지막으로 모든 플랫폼에 걸쳐 15frames／sec 이상의 원활한 데이터 전송과 2초 이내의 지연방지가 가능하도록 개선하였다.

임베디드 시스템을 이용하여 TCP/IP 상의 인터넷 제어시스템을 구현하였다. AT90S8535 마이크로 컨트롤러 구조 및 각종명령 레지스터 동작 원리, avr-gcc 하드웨어 프로그래밍 및 명령 레지스터의 구현원리, JAVA 애플릿 프로그래밍, 전반적인 하드웨어 기초 이론을 바탕으로 Mellow Device 1300 임베디드 시스템과 AVR90S853S 마이크로 컨트롤러 상호간의 시리얼 통신을 이용하여 원격지의 온/습도 검침 및 각종 하드웨어 디바이스의 on/off를 구현하도록 설계하였고 실시간으로 검출된 온/습도 데이터를 JAVA 애플릿을 이용하여 그래픽 챠트로 보기 쉽게 표현하였으며 A/D 변환된 온도 및 습도 데이터와 각종 H/W 디바이스 on/off 상태 데이터를 RS232 인터페이스를 이용하여 Mellow Device 1300로 송/수신하도록 구현하였다.

본 논문은 웹 브라우저만을 사용하여 MBond 세션에 참가하여 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터를 이음매 없이 수신할 수 있는 멀티캐스트 멀티미디어 웹 응용에 관해 기술한다. 본 응용은 웹 상에서 세션 발견을 위해, SDP, SAP 프로토콜을 이용하여 HTML 세션 페이지를 생성시키고, 실시간 스트림의 수신을 위해 RTP 프로토콜을 웹 구조에 통합함으로써 구현 가능하다. 웹 상의 RTP 재생은 넷스케이프 플러그인 방식과 자바 애플릿 방식으로 구현되었다. 넷스케이프 플러그인은 수신측의 지연버퍼를 조정하는 방식으로 최소한의 품질을 보장하도록 구현하였으며, 애플릿 방식은 플랫폼-독립적이며, 새로운 미디어의 확장이나 업그레이드를 위해 추가적인 프로그램을 인스톨 해야 하는 불필요함을 없앨 수 있다. 특히 후자의 접근 방식은 핫자바 브라우저 상에서 프로토타입핑 되어, 앞으로의 차세대 인터넷 멀티캐스트 환경에 적용될 새로운 응용이나 미디어를 위한 이상적이고 확장성을 지닌 솔루션을 제공한다. 추가적으로 본 구조에서 멀티캐스트 미디어의 확장성을 보이기 위해 멀티캐스트를 통한 HTML 문서의 분배라를 새로운 응용 구조를 제안한다.

In order to efficiently provide the learning ability for engineering education, electromagnetic field simulator have been developed on lava 2 platform. Each simulation module based on lava applet can be easily utilized with independent platform and provide GUI environment to set up physical conditions. The numerical results using computer animation technique are provided in real time. To aggregate and manage the learning objects, application of SCORM which is e-Learning standards is also studied.

In this paper, client/server model for remote conveyor control and monitoring system is designed and implemented to simulate the product line of vehicles. The client system located at the monitoring office is using a web applet based system, and sends some commands to the server system which guards and controls the conveyer system directly. And server system is implemented as the web based system by using Java programming language too. The system has a distributed database system environments to manage and maintain the product line of conveyor system.
