Dissemination of XML data on the internet could breach the privacy of data providers unless access to the disseminated XML data is carefully controlled. Recently, the methods using encryption have been proposed for such access control. However, in these methods, the performance of processing queries has not been addressed. A query processor cannot identify the contents of encrypted XML data unless the data are decrypted. This limitation incurs overhead of decrypting the parts of the XML data that would not contribute to the query result. In this paper, we propose the notion of query-aware decryption for efficient processing of queries against encrypted XML data. Query-aware decryption allows us to decrypt only those parts that would contribute to the query result. For this purpose, we disseminate an encrypted XML index along with the encrypted XML data. This index, when decrypted, informs us where the query results are located in the encrypted XML data, thus preventing unnecessary decryption for other parts of the data. Since the size of this index is much smaller than that of the encrypted XML data, the cost of decrypting this index is negligible compared with that for unnecessary decryption of the data itself. The experimental results show that our method improves the performance of query processing by up to 6 times compared with those of existing methods. Finally, we formally prove that dissemination of the encrypted XML index does not compromise security.

The purpose of this study is to figure out the application of perceived quality and authentication evaluation system of teaching materials and implements for children in the early childhood education field. To achieve this, a survey was carried out from April 20 to April 30, 2013 on 150 guidance teachers who teach children classes for more than 3 years at kindergartens in Daejeon area, Chungnam. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, for the use of teaching materials and implements, 96.1% of teachers thought the quality of teaching materials and implements in their interaction with children was important. Most of them had a high perception of the quantity and quality when using teaching materials and implements with early childhood curriculum. For the most inconvenience when using teaching implements, developmental appropriateness was the highest by 47.3%. And the convenience of the application to children was 3.54 points on average. Above this, the application of teaching implements to children when using play and teaching implements was useful by 3.89 points on verage. The current teaching materials and implements for children in the early childhood education field was normal by 3.29 points on average. Second, teachers' perception of teaching materials and implements was relatively positive by 3.99 points on average, proving that the quality of teaching materials and implements based on the application of teaching materials and implements to early children in kindergartens was very important. Consequently, considering the importance and usefulness of teaching materials and implements, it is necessary to introduce institutional policies that teaching materials and implements with quality standard and institution evaluation can introduce the evaluation authentication system to guarantee the convenience of children' safety and use by the supply of quality-guaranteed products.

In this study, an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was conducted with the aim of developing a post-disaster refugee housing performance index system (PPS) to improve the post-disaster refugee housing (PRH) performance criteria for the foundation of quality-based development. The PRH was defined as a mid-term temporary housing facility that is used for a certain period before the permanent housing is established. The safety, rapidity, reusability, habitability, and economy were derived from major performance factors through prior research. A hierarchical PPS was organized by linking the major performance factors with the whole life cycle process of PRH. The priority of each performance index of PPS was determined quantitatively using the analytic hierarchy process through an expert survey. Based on AHP analysis, the performance criterion of the total weight 1-10 ranking and the performance criterion of the first rank in each category were classified into the essential performance criterion (must be achieved) and the others were classified into the recommended performance criterion (optional achieved) and the performance index was constructed considering all stages of PRH development. With the completion of the PRH performance index, it is expected that victims will be able to secure stable residence and return to their daily lives quickly.

In this paper, we propose wired and wireless distributed control systems designed to improve the freight logistics efficiency and verify wired distributed control systems. The verification condition required that 50 cargo vehicles be connected and operated to travel 21 km from Busan Sinhang station to Jinlye Station at an average speed of about 100km/h. The verification results show that the traction output and braking output of the control and controlled cars are dispersed by the wired distributed control system. The application is expected to more than double the efficiency of the logistics compared to the existing freight transportation system. However, in the case of the wired distributed control system, cable installation and maintenance are difficult, and it is impossible to change the combination of freight vehicles. Through the verification of the wired distributed control system, the applicability of distributed control systems to freight vehicles in Korea was confirmed and the system was further developed to produce a wireless distributed control system. In order to apply the wireless distributed control system, a propagation environment analysis for the ISM band was performed in the testbed and, as a result, it was confirmed that Wifi technology using the ISM band could be utilized. In order to use the WDP (Wireless Distributed Power) devices newly installed in the target vehicles, the transmission / reception control signals associated with the propulsion / braking / total control devices are defined. In the case of wireless distributed control systems, the convenience of their application and operation is guaranteed, but reliability and emergency safety measures should because of the dependence of the control of the vehicle on radio signals.

Because colostrum is considered to be the sole source of passively acquired maternal antibodies for calves, newborn calves must consume colostrum to gain disease resistance during their early years of life. Storage of surplus colostrum from dairy cows right after calving and feeding newborn calves in deficiency of colostrum to assure adequate uptake of IgG for protection of the calf has been a common practice in the bovine production. In the current study, 35 colostrums were randomly collected from 3 colostrum banks located in different regions of Korea and monitored for general bacterial contamination and major bovine pathogens. Immunoglobulin concentrations and BVDV-specific antibodies were also determined to evaluate the immune quality of the colostrums. Moderate to severe bacterial contamination (up to 72,000,000 CFU/ml) was observed in most of the colostrums collected from colostrum banks. General immune quality of the colostrums was under the satisfactory level since most of the colostrums contained less than 50 g/L of IgG, which is the minimum concentration for good quality colostrums. Therefore, colostrum for colostrum bank should be collected at the first 2-3 post-partum milkings according to proper harvesting and handling procedures to guarantee the safety and quality of colostrum. In addition, it was recommended that colostrum should be heat-treated before frozen and stored in the bank because pasteurization at $63^{\circ}C$ for 30 min was very effective reducing the risk of disease transmission without causing significant degradation of immunoglobulins.
Since Gamma Knife(R) radiosurgery(GKRS) is based on a single-fraction high dose treatment strategy, independent verification for the results of Leksell GammaPlan(R) (LGP) is an important procedure in assuring patient safety and minimizing the risk of treatment errors. Several verification methods have been developed and reported previously. Thus these methods were tested statistically and tried on Leksell Gamma Knife(LGK) target treatments through the embodiment of the previously proposed algorithms(PPA). The purpose of this study was to apply and evaluate the accuracy of verification methods for LGK target treatments using PPA. In the study 10 patients with intracranial lesion treated by GKRS were included. We compared the data from PPA and LGP in terms of maximum dose, arbitrary point dose, and treatment time at the isocenter locations. All data were analyzed by Paired t-test, which is statistical method used to compare two different measurement techniques. No statistical significance in maximal dose at 10 cases was observed between PPA and LGP. Differences in average maximal dose ranged from -0.53 Gy to 3.71 Gy. The arbitrary point dose calculated by PPA and LGP was not statistically significant too. But we found out the statistical difference with p=0.021 between TMR and LGP for treatment time at the isocenter locations. PPA can be incorporated as part of a routine quality assurance(QA) procedure to minimize the chance of a wrong overdose. Statistical analyses demonstrated that PPA was in excellent agreement with LGP when considering the maximal dose and the arbitrary point dose for the best plan of GKRS. Due to the easy applicability we hope PPA can be widely used.

This study attempted to look into the effects of the job environment and job esteem on job satisfaction in the field of skin beauticians. To achieve this, a survey of their characteristics, job environment, job esteem and job satisfaction was carried out on 470 women in their 20s~50s working at skin care shops in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. First, it was found that the effects of the working environment on their vocational satisfaction, sense of belonging, level of contribution, wages and welfare, which are sub-factors of job satisfaction, are relatively high. This result shows that it is important to ensure proper resting facilities and resting areas. Second, it was shown that the higher the social evaluation, self-(implicit) assessment, future value, and self-fulfillment orientation, the higher the sub-factors of job satisfaction. This means that it is important to treat skin beauticians as professionals in order to improve their social recognition. The sub-factors of job environment-working conditions, organizational environment and job stability, and sub-factors of job environment-social evaluation, self(intrinsic) evaluation, future value and self-achievement orientation, had a major effect on the sub-factors of job satisfaction, respectively. Together with the general improvement in the sub-factors of job environment, the future value, as well as social evaluation, self(intrinsic) evaluation and self-achievement orientation, which together constituted the current value of job esteem, were the major factors affecting job satisfaction. Consequently, this study hopes to contribute to the development of the skin beauty industry by providing basic data on personnel management for skin care managers to improve skin beauticians' job satisfaction.
Under the economic banner of "self-reliance," North Korea has focused on hydro and thermal power as its main energy supply sources. However, in the face of extreme energy penury caused by machinery and material supply instability in the wake of the collapse of the former communist block as well as equipment aging and deterioration due to floods and other disasters, North Korea and international aid organizations are increasingly turning their attention toward energy source diversification. In particular, renewable energy is recognized as the best strategic energy source for North Korea and it is a decentralized energy option that is suitable in light of North Korea's power distribution networks and its pursuit of self-reliance. Biogas can contribute to improving the human rights situation of North Koreans in conjunction with an increase in food production. For this reason, renewable energy is the most promising option for an energy source that is likely to secure humanitarian aid from international organizations such as the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP). However, the implementation of such humanitarian aid has been hampered by rising concerns about the diversion of provided energy materials for military purposes and the disguised introduction of dual use items strategic materials as well as UN Security Council resolutions and sanctions of the international community against North Korea's military provocation, including nuclear tests and missile launches. This paper explores the possibility of solving this dilemma and proceeding with the humanitarian aid to North Korea by evaluating the potential for sanction and the risk of diversion of the possible products for biogas-related aid on the basis of the list of UN-sanctioned items.

Hepatic vessel tree is the key structure for hepatic disease diagnosis and liver surgery planning. Especially, it is used to evaluate the donors' and recipients' liver for the LDLT(Living Donors Liver Transplantation) and estimate the volumes of left and right hepatic lobes for securing their life in the LDLT. In this study, we propose a method to apply canny edge detection that is not affected by noise to the liver images for automatic segmentation of hepatic vessels tree in contrast abdominal MDCT image. Using histograms and average pixel values of the various liver CT images, optimized parameters of the Canny algorithm are determined. It is more time-efficient to use the common parameters than to change parameters manually according to CT images. Candidates of hepatic vessels are extracted by threshold filtering around the detected the vessel edge. Finally, using a system which detects the true-negatives and the false-positives in horizontal and vertical direction, the true-negatives are added in candidate of hepatic vessels and the false-positives are removed. As a result of the process, the various hepatic vessel trees of patients are accurately reconstructed in 3D.
Due to the increasing demands on the efficient use of land and the fast growth of construction technologies, human living space is expanded from on the surface to above and under the surface. By recognizing that the current cadastre system based on 2D was not appropriate to reflect the trend, the researchers are interested in a 3D cadastre. This paper proposed the 3D cadastre data model that is appropriate to protect ownership effectively in Korea. The 3D cadastre data model consists of a 3D cadastre feature model and a 3D cadastre geometry model, and the data are produced by a 3D cadastre data structure. A 3D cadastre feature model is based on 3D rights and features derived from case studies. A 3D cadastre geometry model based on ISO19107 Spatial Schema is modified to be good for 3D cadastre in Korea. A 3D cadastre data structure consists of point, line, polygon and solid primitives. This study finally purposes 1) serving and managing land information effectively, 2) creating rights and displaying ranges about infrastructures above and under surface, 3) serving ubiquitous-based geoinformation, 4) adapting ubiquitous-based GIS to urban development, and 5) regulating relationships between rights of land and registration and management systems.
