  • This study aimed to examine the effects of a reciprocal attention intervention on the joint attention behaviors of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by comparing the music and nonmusic conditions. An alternating treatment design was applied as one of the single subject designs and the reciprocal attention intervention included music and nonmusic conditions implemented alternately within a session. The participants were four children between the ages 4 and 5 years and each participant who participated in 23 intervention sessions that followed the sequence of baseline (3 sessions), treatment (15 sessions), and follow-up (5 sessions). The music condition consisted of structured joint instrument playing, trials for attentional shift, and interactive instrument playing. The nonmusic condition consisted of joint toy play, trials for attentional shift, and turn taking-based play. The occurrence of target behaviors (i. e., joint attention behavior, eye gaze, and joint action) was analyzed across sessions. At pretest and posttest, the Early Social Communication Scale was administered. All participants showed increasing tendency in all target behaviors, but such occurrence was greater in the music condition than in the nonmusic condition. The findings support the use of a reciprocal attention intervention with musical stimuli to effectively improve joint attention in this population.

Using Giorgi's 4 stages, this study investigated the meaning of ADHD treatments for mothers. Data were collected from December 2014 to February 2015 for 3 months with a sample of 13 mothers of children with ADHD via in-depth interviews. Collected data was analyzed using an interpretative phenomenological approach. Dominant issues identified were: I (mother) need to be changed for my child; Through mothers' experiences of lack of self-determination about a child with ADHD, they realized ignorance, chaos, and anxiety. While they experience multiple negative feeling, there is a positive change with unresolved issues. The findings highlight the correct awareness of ADHD and incorporated therapies for mothers and children with ADHD to improve treatment retention. Also, specialized services would be developed for mothers to promote their positive attitude to life, which is vital to cultivating the correct self-awareness.

It has identified the so-called "Telegram sexual harassment and exploitation" incident on the front page. We also want to analyze this and draw up policy suggestions that can help prepare social measures. In the wake of the Telegram sexual exploitation scandal, The National Assembly is quickly proposing related bills. However, the reality is that even a clear concept and definition of "Digital sexual Crimes" have not been made yet. The effective support system for victims is also insufficient. • Reckless use of the Internet by children is a barrier to daily life and has a negative impact on children's physical, psychological and relational aspects. But more and more children depend on the Internet. Thus, the study conducted a meta-analysis to examine the effectiveness of group programs that involve Internet addiction among elementary school students. The study analyzed 18 studies of a local Internet group counseling program. First, the overall effectiveness of Internet-dependent group programs that cause Internet addiction reduction in elementary school students is shown to be g=0.90, indicating that group counseling programs are effective in reducing Internet addiction and changing related variables. Second, as a result of verifying differences between groups, there were differences in effectiveness in voluntary participation motivations. Therefore, intervention by elementary school students requires preventive training for smart phones so that voluntary participation can occur, and education for parents to develop autonomy for children to use smartphones properly. And rather than making these efforts limited to smart phones, IT retriever education needs to be organized.
