Parametric Study on Curved Tub Girders for Varying Radii of Curvature (곡선 개구제형 거더의 곡률에 따른 매개변수 해석연구)

  • A parametric study for varying the radii of curvature is performed with a curved tub girder bridge having three continuous spans. The bracing forces of top lateral bracings from the results of numerical equations are compared to those of 3-dimensional finite element analyses. New modifying factors applicable in computing the nominal member forces of top lateral bracings were suggested. The numerical equations were derived based on one girder system, and it is shown that the numerical equations exhibit some errors compared with 3D FEA results. The main reason for this phenomenon lies on the number of girders. The twin girder system has an external cross-beam between inner and outer girder. It also has larger lateral stiffness than the single girder system. Finally, the distributions by the torsion, bending, distortion, and lateral loading of the top lateral bracing forces were presented in this paper.

Quality Properties of Sausage Prepared with Gamma-Irradiated Natural Casing (감마선조사 천연케이싱의 사용이 소시지의 제조적성에 미치는 영향)

  • Quality changes in sausage stuffed into irradiated natural pork and lamb intestine were studied. Total aerobic bacteria of the sausage prepared with irradiated natural pork and lamb casing were significantly lower than those of nonirradiated casing and the $D_{10}$ value of those sausages were 1.71 and 1.58 kGy, respectively. The sausages in pork intestine vacuum-packaged and stored in a $4^{\circ}C$ refrigerator showed negligible change in the 2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) value during storage except for 10-day when the TBARS value was higher than other storage days. Total working force for shear value of the sausages were lower with both irradiated casings but sensory evaluation showed no difference between treatments. As a results, the gamma irradiation was effective for sanitizing the natural pork and lamb casings, thereby preparing high quality sausages.

Sub-Pixel Rendering Algorithm Using Adaptive 2D FIR Filters (적응적 2차원 FIR 필터를 이용한 부화소 렌더링 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a sub-pixel rendering algorithm using learning-based 2D FIR filters. The proposed algorithm consists of two stages: the learning and synthesis stages. At the learning stage, we produce the low-resolution synthesis information derived from a sufficient number of high/low resolution block pairs, and store the synthesis information into a so-called dictionary. At the synthesis stage, the best candidate block corresponding to each input high-resolution block is found in the dictionary. Next, we can finally obtain the low-resolution image by synthesizing the low-resolution block using the selected 2D FIR filter on a sub-pixel basis. On the other hand, we additionally enhance the sharpness of the output image by using pre-emphasis considering RGB stripe pattern of display. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide significantly sharper results than conventional down-sampling methods, without blur effects and aliasing.

  • 로터-베어링축계는 증기및 가스터빈, 터보 발전기, 압축기등 거의 모든 산업 기계류에서 동력 전달의 기본 도구로써 사용되고 있다. 즉 회전에 의한 동력 의전달은 비교적 간단히 대용량의 동력을 효율적으로 전달할 수 있다. 이에 따라 회전기계류에 대한 연구는 산업 혁명 이후 꾸준히 발전되어 온바, 특히 근래에 들어와 산업기계류의 경쟁이 치열하여짐에 따라 산업기계류의 고정 밀화, 고속화, 고신뢰화 요구가 증대하고 있는 현실을 비추어 볼때, 산업 기 계류의 근간을 이루고 있는 로터-베어링 축계의 안정성을 포함한 진동에 관 한 문제는 회전기계류 설계의 주요 기술로써 연구.개발의 필요성이 매우 높 다 하겠다. 회전축계 진동 관련 연구는 두 분야로 대별될 수 있는데 언밸런 스(Unbalance)에 의한 Synchronous진동과 여러가지 원인에 의해 계의 불안 정성을 유발시키는 Nonsynchronous진동으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이들 연구의 기본이 되는 회전축-베어링계 동특성 해석 프로그램을 개발하 였다. 여러가지 방법이 있으나 여기서는 Holzer가 비틀림 진동에 적용하고, Mykiestad(2)와 Prohl(3)에 의하여 회전축의 횡 진동에 적용된 이후 Lund(4) 등에 의하여 베어링의 영향등이 첨가된 전달 매트릭스 (Transfer Matrix) 방 법을 이용하여 임계속도(Critical Speed), 모우드 형태(Mode shapes)를 예측 하고 불안정 판정(Instability Criteria)등을 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였 다. 특히 Murphy(1)의 다항식 방법(Polynomial Method)에 기본을 두어 기존 의 전달 매트릭스가 가지고 있던 반복, 수렴 시간 문제와 빠뜨리는 임계속도 예측에 대한 개선을 이루었으며 기존 논문과 실험 결과와의 비교 검토를 통 하여 개발된 프로그램의 신뢰성을 검토하였다. 특히, 각종 회전 기계의 소형 화, 경량화 추세에 따라 지반이나 케이싱이 경량이거나 유연하여 회전축과 동적으로 연성된 경우 회전축-베어링-지반으로 이루어진 2중구조의 회전축 계 동특성을 해석할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하므로서 회전 기계류의 진동 전반에 걸친 문제점에 대한 그 원인과 현상을 명확히 분석하여 국내의 전기 계류의 보다 신뢰성있는 설계 및 제작자료를 확보하는데 기여할 수 있게 하 였다.

  • Design and fabrication of a 30-tonf-class full-scale regenerative cooling combustion chamber of a liquid rocket engine for a ground hot firing test are described. It has chamber pressure of 60 bar and nozzle expansion ration of 12 and manufactured to have a single welded structure of· the mixing head and the chamber. The material of the mixing head is STS316L which has excellent mechanical property in cryogenic condition. The chamber comprise of the cylinder, nozzle throat, and 1st/2nd nozzle parts. The material of the inner jacket is copper alloy/STS329J1/STS316L and that of the outer jacket is STS329J1. The components of· the combustor were manufactured by mechanical processing including lathing, milling, MCT, rolling and pressing. The machined components were integrated to a single body by means of general welding, electron beam welding(EBW), and brazing.

  • Generally, a point source has been routinely used in the electrical resistivity measurements because of easy installation. If steel-cased wells are used as long electrodes, we can expect the better depth of investigation. However, the resistivity data with long electrodes can not be processed with a conventional inversion algorithm because a long electrode produces the different primary potential distribution compared with the point source. In this study, we proposed a new technique to process the electrical resistivity data with long electrodes by replacing the long electrode with a sequence of point electrodes. Comparing the potentials obtained from the technique with the analytic/numerical solution, we ensure that the proposed technique can be used for the numerical resistivity modeling based on the finite difference or finite element method.

  • This study was evaluated in the performance of the connection according to the details of the concrete casing segment in the prestressed composite girder by fabricating and testing specimens with different segments. A total of four comparative specimens were fabricated by using the variables of general composite girders, reinforcement or non-reinforcement, and details of reinforcing bars in the segments so as to evaluate the structural behavior of steel girders. In addition, the possibility of non-cracking grade design of segmented composite girders as well as the effects of stiffness and strength according to the loop connection types after cracking were analyzed, and the appropriateness of the crack width control both the embedded steel plate and the concrete surface were evaluated.

An automatic detection scheme of anti-debugging routines to the environment for analysis (분석 환경에 따른 안티 디버깅 루틴 자동 탐지 기법)

  • Anti-debugging is one of the techniques implemented within the computer code to hinder attempts at reverse engineering so that attackers or analyzers will not be able to use debuggers to analyze the program. The technique has been applied to various programs and is still commonly used in order to prevent malware or malicious code attacks or to protect the programs from being analyzed. In this paper, we will suggest an automatic detection scheme for anti-debugging routines. With respect to the automatic detection, debuggers and a simulator were used by which trace information on the Application Program Interface(API) as well as executive instructions were extracted. Subsequently, the extracted instructions were examined and compared so as to detect points automatically where suspicious activity was captured as anti-debugging routines. Based on experiments to detect anti-debugging routines using such methods, 21 out of 25 anti-debugging techniques introduced in this paper appear to be able to detect anti-debugging routines properly. The technique in the paper is therefore not dependent upon a certain anti-debugging method. As such, the detection technique is expected to also be available for anti-debugging techniques that will be developed or discovered in the future.

Nondestructive Evaluation of Nanostructured Thin Film System Using Scanning Acoustic Microscopy (초음파현미경을 이용한 나노 구조 박막 시스템의 비파괴평가)

  • In recent years, as nano scale structured thin film technology has emerged in various fields such as the materials, biomedical and acoustic sciences, the quantitative nondestructive adhesion evaluation of thin film interfaces using ultra high frequency scanning acoustic microscopy(SAM) has become an important issue in terms of the longevity and durability of thin film devices. In this study, an effective technique for investigating the interfaces of nano scale structured thin film systems is described, based on the focusing of ultrasonic waves, the generation of leaky surface acoustic waves(LSAWs), V(z) curve simulation and ultra high frequency acoustical imaging_ Computer simulations of the V(z) curve were performed to estimate the sensitivity of detection of micro flaws(i.e., delamination) in a thin film system. Finally, experiments were conducted to confirm that a SAM system operating at a frequency of 1 GHz can be useful to visualize the micro flaws in nano structured thin film systems.

Circuit Design of Voltage Down Converter for High Speed Application (고속 스위칭 Voltage Down Converter 회로 설계에 대한 연구)

  • This paper presents a new voltage down converter(VDC) using charge and discharge current adjustment circuitry that provides high frequency application. This VDC consist of a common driving circuit and compensation circuits: 2 sensors and each driving transistors for controlling gate current of driving transistor. These sensors are operated as adaptive biasing method with high speed and low power consumption. This circuit is designed with a $0.62{\mu}m$ N well CMOS technology. In H-spice simulation results, internal voltage is bounded ( IV, +0.6V) in proposed circuitry when load current rapidly increases and decreases during Gns between 0 and $200m{\Lambda}$. And the recovery time of internal voltage is about 7ns and 10ns when load current increases and decreases respectively. That is fast better than common driving circuit. Total power consumption is about 1.2mW.
