  • Digital speedometer which is supposed to provide the basic data for analyzing human factors of drivers has a limitation for human behavior studies of drivers, because it records limited driving information including GPS velocities. Besides, Black Box, which is currently being actively commercialized in the market, records mostly vehicles' risky patterns rather than drivers' behaviors. As a result, it also shows a limit to analyze dangerous driving patterns. This study performed a risky driving study for human factor analysis. This study conducted before and after comparisons for real time warning study using a risky driving judgment device. The analysis was conducted based on Longitudinal acceleration, Lateral acceleration, and Yaw rate of vehicles.

  • Research is underway on services and systems that provide real-time alerts for suffocating gases and potentially explosive materials, but currently smart bend type services are lacking. This study supports real-time identification of explosion hazards due to static electricity in the workplace and immediate elimination of accident occurrence factors, real-time monitoring of worker status and workplace hazards (oxygen, hazardous chemical concentration), and immediate warning and data in case of danger. We propose a method of establishing an accident prevention system through analysis. In this way, various accidents that may occur in industrial sites are monitored using IoT-based intelligent sensor nodes, wireless network technology, data processing middleware, and integrated control system, and real-time risk information at the industrial sites is prevented and accidents are prevented. By supporting a safe working environment, the company can significantly reduce costs compared to post-procurement costs.

  • 본 논문에서는 건설 현장이나 발전소 등의 고소 작업이 많은 곳에서 작업하는 근로자의 안전을 확보하기 위해, 클라우드 웹 서비스에 기반에 고소작업자의 행동 데이터를 수집 저장하여 그 데이터를 통해 관리자가 작업자의 행동을 모니터링 하고 위험경고 메시지를 받을 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 작업자가 하는 행동을 관리자가 실시간으로 확인하는 것을 통해 고소 작업산업 현장에서 작업자의 경각심으로 예방이 가능하다.

  • 국내의 산재 사고 사망 비율 중 대부분은 건설업이 차지하고 있으며 사망 원인 중 42.9%는 추락사가 차지하고 있다. 따라서 국내 사고 사망을 예방하기 위해서는 노동자의 생명을 지켜주는 안전 장비의 착용 여부가 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 객체 탐지에 사용되는 YOLO v4와 YOLO v4-TINY 알고리즘과 영상 처리에 사용되는 OpenCV를 이용하여 실시간 영상에서 안전모 미착용 인원을 감지하고 관리자에게 알려주는 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템을 활용하여 건설 현장에서 현장 카메라로 안전모 미착용 인원을 실시간으로 검출하여 경고하므로써 작업자의 안전에 기여할 수 있다.

A Real-time Lane Tracking Using Inverse Perspective Mapping (역투영 변환을 이용한 고속도로 환경에서의 실시간 차선 추적)

  • In this paper, A real-time lane tracking algorithm is proposed for lane departure warning system. To eliminate perspective effect, input image is converted into Bird's View by inverse perspective mapping. Next, suitable features are extracted for lane detection. Lane feature that correspond to area of interest and RANSAC are used to detect lane candidates. And driving lane is decided by clustering of lane candidates. Finally, detected lane is tracked using the Kalman filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be processed within 30ms and its detection rate is approximately 90% on the highway in a variety of environments such as day and night.

  • Integrating a field of transportation and IT is becoming a novel solution to social and economic problems which was previously focused on the investment in infrastructures. It also created new areas of industry such as ITS and telematics. Especially, vehicle communication is being considered very important and DSRC is also important in the field of rational ITS in recent. DSRC OBE has come into wide use through ETCS. In the field of traffic signal control, the research to implement an optimal traffic signal control system using a real-time information of good quality is being carried out and also the study of WISDOM was successfully completed. This paper shows the development of Dynamic-Dilemma zone warning service utilizing WISDOM and the evaluation of a reliability and a practicality through the field test. While the proposed Dynamic-Dilemma warning system transmits an information of signal time optimized by WISDOM, the OBE which receives this information makes dilemma zone based on its location and speed and gives warning to a driver.

  • This paper demonstrates the in-vehicle dilemma zone warning system (DZWS) project developed as a part of the Driver Advisory and Collision Warning System in Automated Vehicle and Highway System (AVHS). The DZWS project, one of the Korea national ITS projects in 2000 develops the in-vehicle warning device to support drivers' decision making on whether to stop or to proceed to clear the intersection prior to the onset of yellow signal for avoiding the high risk of collision at signalized intersections through the dedicated short range communication (DSRC). This paper explores the design of optimal communication systems between roadway and vehicles, the operational and functional concepts of dilemma zone warning system based on appropriate approach speeds, and the system integration for field test at two sites of signalized intersections. Findings from the system integration indicated that the system would be implemented in eliminating the dilemma zone relative to approach speeds and in reducing red light violations and intersection collisions through the in-vehicle warning device at signalized intersection.

  • 정보기술의 발전은 디지털 혁명의 근간이 되고 있는 반면, 정보유출ㆍ파괴ㆍ변조 등의 역기능 또한 내포하기 때문에 이러한 정보화의 역기능에 대한 신속한 탐지 및 능동적인 대응이 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 기존의 시스템은 침입에 대한 차단을 중심으로 운영되어 왔고, 침입탐지 시스템이라 할지라도 불법 침입에 대한 대응이 단지 경고나 보고 수준에 머물고 있어 능동적인 대응이 없다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 리눅스 시스템에서 실시간 침입탐지 시스템인 NIDS를 설계 구현하고, 동일 네트워크 망에서의 여러 호스트들을 통합적으로 관리하기 위하여 M/A 시스템을 설계ㆍ구현하였다. 여기서 NIDS와 M/A 시스템간의 통신은 SSL/TLS 프로토콜을 기반으로 이루어진다. NIDS에서는 Detection Module과 Response Module을 분리하여 구현하였고, 커널 레벨에서 PCAP 라이브러리를 통해 캡쳐된 패킷이 Detection Module에 의해 침입이라 판단되면 Response Module에서 일정 수준의 대응이 가능하도록 구현하였다.

Analyze the Affective and Learning Strategy Difference of Engineering Students under Academic Probation and other College Students (이공계 학사경고 대학생과 일반 대학생의 동기 및 학습전략 차이 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference between motivation and learning strategies of students who have received academic probation and who have not while attending engineering college. The subjects of this study were engineering college students in Seoul and they participated in the learning strategy test at the teaching and learning center. The subjects of this study were 553 students, 22 of whom received academic probation and 531 didn't. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we used MLST (Multi-dimensional Learning Strategy test) learning strategy checklists of Korea Guidance, which is a standardized test. A t-test was conducted to compare motivational and learning strategies between students with and without academic probation. As a result, the motivation score of the students with the academic probation was lower than that of those without the academic probation, and the score of the time management and note taking factors of the students with the academic probation were lower than those of the students without the academic probation.

A Pedestrian Collision Warning System using a Fuzzy Logic (퍼지로직을 이용한 보행자 충돌 경고 시스템)

  • A pedestrian collision warning system which makes a judgement of pedestrian's intention to help avoiding hitting accidents is proposed. This system uses the image sequences obtained from a car black box as well as vehicle's speed obtained from a GPS. It detects pedestrians, if any, based on the Histogram of Gradient method and extracts several information such as the pedestrian's relative positions, the direction of motion vectors, and distance between vehicle and pedestrian . A fuzzy logic based on these extracted information is applied to analyze the pedestrian's safety levels. When the safety level is determined to be danger, an alarm is triggered to the driver. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested under various driving scenarios, which shows it works successfully in real-time.
