The Development of Motivation Scale in the Visual Artistic Giftedness of the Elementary School Children (학동기 미술영재성 동기요인 검사도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the instruments which can measure motivation as a component of Visual Artistic Giftedness with in elementary school period. This study prescribed the variable factors of measurement after abstract and classify the characteristics of Visual Artistic Giftedness through literature studies. And it produced instruments those are finally composed of 27 items through the preliminary test. They were evaluated in terms of content validity, construct validity, and reliability by implementing them to 679 elementary school children from the first to sixth grades. Statistical analyses were carried out to verify the validities and reliability. Content validity was found to be satisfactory by experts' evaluation on the test items. Construct validity was also found to be satisfactory through factor analyses which showed the four factors which the identification instruments were intended to measure such as, interest/ attitude/ taste, endurance/ concentration, curiosity/ imagination! sensitiveness, aesthetic. Concurrent validity was also found to be satisfactory with high coeffients of Barron- Welsh which were calculated as .76 in motivation. In conclusion, the instruments about motivation of Visual Artistic Giftedness during elementary school period developed by this study are highly reliable on its reliability and validity.

  • This study aims to develop an instrument for measuring high school students' action competence on climate change (ACoCC). The instrument is defined as the construct comprised of seven factors and thirty-five items and takes approximately 15 minutes to fill out. A panel of experts and students' content validation were undertaken to modify the items. Five hundred and twenty-eight first and second graders in Korean high schools participated in the instrument survey. To assess the reliability and validity of ACoCC instrument, item analysis (mean, skewness, kurtosis, item-total correlation), internal consistency estimate, and confirmatory factor analysis were used. It was appropriate to use the 7-dimensional ACoCC instrument (knowledge about climate change, climate change sensibility, reflection, communication, integrated thinking, willingness, decision making), with 35 items for high school students. The following instrument was self-report given in the 5-point Likert scale (1=strongly disagree, 2=disagree, 3=neutral, 4=agree, 5=strongly agree). The internal consistency coefficient was shown as a whole was shown as 0.953, and the subscale's internal consistency coefficient ranged from 0.786 to 0.862.

Reliability and Validity of the Korean Version of Children Participation Questionnaire (한글판 Children Participation Questionnaire(K-CPQ)의 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of the K-CPQ in 299 children with developmental disorder and non-disabled children to prove their level of participation in Korean children with developmental disabilities. In order to verify the reliability of the K-CPQ, Cronbach ${\alpha}$ was calculated and Pearson correlation analysis was used for test-retest reliability test. As a result, the internal consistency(${\alpha}=.81{\sim}.90$) in each area of K-CPQ was relatively high and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r=.807~.843) in the test-retest reliability test was significant in all areas(p<.01). It showed statistically significant difference in all areas(t=2.32~5.18) in comparison with the non-disabled children group in order to verify the discriminant validity of K-CPQ. For the criterion-related validity of the K-CPQ, Pearson correlation analysis of K-SMS and K-SFA shows statistically significant static correlation(r=.817, r=743) showed(p<.01). Through this study, K-CPQ has been confirmed as a reliable and reasonable assessment tool and we expect that diverse research by K-CPQ will provide appropriate interventions for children with disabilities.

  • Psychological typology in analytic psychology is used not only for ascertaining the attitude or function of the conscious ego, but also as one blueprint for the individuation process. We all know the need to emphasize an awareness of the deployment and development of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function for the individuation process. This study has the goal of refining our awareness of this deployment and development of typological functions. The questionnaires of the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey use the method of a forced-choice questionnaire, on the assumption of a bi-polarity hypothesis. But the questionnaire of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory uses the Likert scale. It is able to show the deployment of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function visibly. It allows us to test the subject at stated periods for his/her development or change of psychological typology. The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory is a statistically superior method for showing Jung's psychological typology relative to both the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey. I have studied how the original authors of The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory understood Jung's psychological typology. I produced the reliability and the item-discrimination power of the Korean Version of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory. On the basis of this study, I produced the revised Korean version 1 of Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory.

  • 본 논문은 전기사업법 제61조의 공사계획인가 및 신고대상인 차단기에 대하여 동법 제63조에 의거해 실시하는 사용전검사의 항목 및 검사수행 방법에 대하여 서술하였다. 차단기는 전력계통을 이상전압에서 보호하기 위한 밀폐형 개폐장치로서 전기사업용 전기설비인 변전소에 설치되는 차단기는 대부분 GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear)화 되고 있는 실정이다. GIS는 정상전류의 차단, 설비사고의 억제 및 파급사고 확산방지에 중추적인 역할을 수행하고 있기 때문에 그 중요성은 더욱 더 높아지고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 핵심 전력설비인 GIS의 사용전 검사항목 및 검사수행 방법을 고찰함으로써 안정적인 전력공급과 전력계통의 신뢰도 제고에 기여하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an automatic inspection system for a part of the differential drive gear into the transmission. This technology will make using the microvision automatic test equipment and automatic test equipment microlaser. This is that the operator intends to make the defect rate 0 in the inspection stage of the product which has been carelessly processed. The equipment developed in this research project will be applied to many areas. Packaging companies, nut bolt processing company, precisely supplier for printing on top of the semiconductor, SMT, etc. The company wants to sell the vision inspection equipment for various applications. If the defective rate of 0 is achieved through this research project, it is also possible to secure a stable supply from the parent company, and to lay the foundations for exporting based on product reliability. When the automatic inspection system is applied to domestic automobile parts processing companies, the reliability of automobiles in Korea will be greatly increased.

  • 이상적인 검사는 합부판정 기준보다 큰 결함을 100%검출, 불합격시키고 그보다 작은 결함은 100% 합격시킬 수 있으나 현실적으로 이는 불가능하고 검사의 본질적인 불확실성으로 인해 때로는 합격되어야 할 결함이 불합격으로 처리되거나 (TYPE 1 ERROR라 칭함) 불합격되어야 할 결함이 합격으로 처리되기도 한다. (TYPE 2 ERROR) TYPE 1 ERROR 및 TYPE 2 ERROR를 동시에 줄이기 위해서는 검사의 불확실성을 제거하여야 하며 주어진 합부판정 기준과 검사불확실성하에서 검사를 둘러싼 총경비를 최소화시키기 위하여는 TYPE 1 ERROR와 TYPE 2 ERROR의 확률 및 그로 인한 예상 경비를 관련시켜야 한다.

Development of Survey Tool for the Scientific Character of Elementary Student (초등학생을 위한 과학인성 검사 도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a survey tool of scientific character for elementary student which connects science education and character education effectively by figuring out traits of elementary students' character being presented in teaching and learning context of elementary school science. For this, we adapted the theocratical model from the previous research which defined scientific character as the competencies being able to practice in concrete teaching and learning context of science. Based on this model, we developed the survey tool as 'Scientific Character Inventory for Elementary Student' to assess elementary students' scientific character as the competences to practice the virtues being pursued in the context of elementary school science and verified its reliability and validity. As a result of an exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, we confirmed all the items could be summarized into 28 items and eight constructs such as scientific problem-solving, self-management, self-reflection, communication, interpersonal skill, community participation, global citizenship, and environmental ethics awareness. We found that minimum reliability coefficient of constructs was over than 0.5 and reliability coefficient of the total items was 0.878. And also, there was modest relationship between each construct and the total score of scientific character. These results show that the developed survey tool can be useful in evaluating the effectiveness of science character education. This study is meaningful in that it systematically reveals constructs of scientific character which can be raised in concrete context of science teaching and learning so as to suggest the survey tool to assess this.
