  • Recently, apartment houses are becoming more and more sophisticated and attention has been focused on the design of the interior of the bathrooms. As bathrooms always use water, the importance of waterproofing is very high. However, there continues to use the method that was used 30 years ago. And no one was trying to improve. It is necessary to be converted to a dry method, because waterproofing methods and materials have developed. Therefore, this study proposes the required performance before applying the dry waterproofing material to bathroom.

  • 본 연구에서는 토사나 사석을 이용하여 자체를 축조하는 과정에서 발생하는 연약지반의 강제치환거동을 연구하기 위하여 다양한 시험조건에 대한 원심모셩을 수행하였다. 제체축조에 따른 연약지반의 강제치환거동은 제체의 성토시공방법, 성토재의 입경, 연약지반의 종류와 강도 등에 따라 맣은 차이를 보였는데, 특히 성토과정 중에 발생하는 과잉간극수압의 크기와 밀접한 상관관계를 보였다. 급속시공인 경우에 연약지반의 파괴영역은 회적으로 확대되고 성토사면의 기울기는 완만해졌으며, 성토재의 입경이 클수록 치환깊이가 증가하고 성토사면의 기울기가 급하게 형성되었다. 그리고 동일점토에서는 지반의 강도가 클수록 치환량이 적었지만, 점토의 종류가 다른 경우에는 지반내 발생하는 과잉간극수압의 크기와 소산성조에따라 치환거동이 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The current design and construction practice prevailing in Korea has been investigated. From the survey the various problems at hand have been listed up and evaluated. The objectives of this research is to propose the means to solve the current problems from the result of the investigation. At the same time, the propagation characteristics of vibration and noise due to construction. especially pile driving. have been studied and the current regulation that restrict these construction nuisance has been investigated by field measurement.

  • Depot have a lagged behind structure in the side of building up the view. With this reason, people have been recognized depot as hatred facility causes to have car noise, air pollution. In the other hand, depot become a underground and complex facility as a higher-value added building, and moreover, it need to understand the environment that depot structure have a specific field condition to apply green roof system. 1) Analysis proper waterproofing material and root barrier apply to depot need root penetrating test method 2) Suggest root barrier and waterproofing material relate to maintain and construction for green roof system 3) Construction condition for depot have crack movement of structure by vehicle vibration and root penetrating force by plant growth

  • Thermal deformation behavior of high-strength concrete (HSC) exposed to fire is different from that of normal strength concrete (NSC). In case of ultra-high-strength concrete (UHSC), it is well known that thermal deformation behavior is greater than HSC. With increasing research of UHSC in buildings, it is necessary to understand the performance of UHSC at elevated temperatures considering loading condition. Therefore, evaluation on properties of thermal strain behavior properties of ultra high strength concrete by loading and high temperature was conducted.

  • In this study, surface spalling and explosive spalling of ring-type ultra-high strength concrete under rapid heating and slow heating were investigated. In rapid heating, the internal temperature difference of the concrete is large, so that continuous surface spalling occurs. However, in slow heating, the difference in the internal temperature of the concrete is small, resulting in explosive spalling at a time. Since the heating condition has a great influence on the internal temperature of the concrete, it is necessary to consider the spalling of the concrete under various heating conditions.

  • In this study, TGA analysis of hardened cement paste with fire damage was performed. The mass reduction rate of 600 ℃ specimens was about 22 ~ 25%, and the sample of 800 ℃ showed the mass loss rate of 9 ~ 13%. As the target temperature and hold time increased, the mass reduction rate decreased. As the depth increased, the mass reduction rate decreased.

  • Latex-modified concrete using ready mix concrete (R-LMC) was developed for application of building construction project (specifically, the rooftop of a parking garage unable to use heavy equipments for bridge deck overlay) due to three major outstanding properties of R-LMC; bond strength, resistance of cracks at early age, and resistance of freezing and thawing. However, R-LMC at the placement stage is required to be sufficiently cured because R-LMC is very sensitive to rate of evaporation of surface moisture. This study focused on effects of different curing methods and climate condition on cracks on the surface of hardened R-LMC considering the chart of rate of evaporation of surface moisture from concrete provided by American Concrete Institute in manual for placement of latex modified concrete.

  • In recent years, the domestic construction business is continuously stagnated caused by housing depression, global financial crisis etc. To overcome these difficulties, the construction companies should reinforce the internal marketing like the service business. However, it is not easy to conduct active internal marketing reinforcement since the companies do not directly receive customers under special situation like construction. Therefore, it is necessary to resolve the urgent issue by selecting order of priority among internal marketing factors. To address this issue, the objective of this study is to analysis the internal marking factors by using Analytic Hierarchy Process.

  • This study evaluates engineering properties of mortar using lightweight fine aggregate made by bottom ash discharged air cooling process according to grading. Then we confirm possibility of use as lightweight fine aggregate. Consequently, Mix using bottom ash need additional examination for a change with the passage of time of flow. Also, mix of S indicates similar compressive strength with mix of Plain and 16% decrease of unit weight compared to mix of Plain; while mix of B indicates 10% decrease of compressive strength and 16% decrease of unit weight. Therefore, this study shows that mix of S and B is superior compared with other mix.
