Parallel Processing Architecture for Parity Checksum Generator Complying with ITU-T J.83 ANNEX B (ITU-T J.83 ANNEX B의 Parity Checksum Generator를 위한 병렬 처리 구조)

  • This paper proposes a parallel architecture of a Parity Checksum Generator adopted for packet synchronization and error detection in the ITU-T Recommendation J.83 Annex B. The proposed parallel processing architecture removes a performance bottleneck occurred in a conventional serial processing architecture, leading to significant decrease in processing time for generating a Parity Checksum. The implementation results show that the proposed parallel processing architecture reduces the processing time by 83.1% at the expense of 16% area increase.

  • This paper present a teaching method of 21C University Education Paradigm after survey the earlier several effective teaching methods. We discuss the efficient pre-teaching, also we propose several teaching methods for really teaching. And we discuss the efficient ending of teaching. They are as following. : lesson configuration, good usage for first time of teaching, pleasant face-to-face talk, teaching techniques check list, question method, caution item when the teaching ending, etc. Also, we propose the method of ending techniques for teaching ending time. The proposed teaching method is the most efficiency in case of using selective the above mentioned several efficient teaching method.

  • 최근 건강에 대한 사회 전반의 관심이 증대되면서 자신의 건강을 체크하고 행동 및 습관을 변화시키기 위해 휴대용 건강 체크 기기를 사용하는 사람들이 늘고 있다. 휴대용 기기 중에서 모바일은 네트워크를 사용하여 시간과 장소에 상관없이 정보 제공이 가능하기 때문에 설득적 매체로 각광받고 있다. 모바일을 통해 사용자의 태도 및 행동을 변화시키는 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 효과적인 설득의 전략을 세워야 한다. 신뢰성(credibility)은 사람이 어떠한 대상에 대해서 믿을 수 있다고 인지한 정도를 의미하는 것으로 일반적인 설득 커뮤니케이션에서 사용자의 태도 및 행동을 변화시키는 것에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 모바일의 매체적 설득 효과별 알아보고, 신뢰성에 영향을 주는 요인을 전문성과 믿음성으로 나누어 이들 요인에 따라서 사용자의 태도 및 행동 변화가 어떻게 달라지는지 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 실험 결과 웹을 통해 실험에 참여한 사람보다 모바일을 통해서 실험에 참가한 사람들의 식생활 개선이 크게 나타났다. 이를 통하여 웹보다 모바일의 매체적 설득 효과가 크다는 사실을 앞 수 있었다. 또한 전문가의 메시지를 받은 그룹 참가자들 중에서 설득 메시지에 대하여 인지된 신뢰성을 높게 평가한 사람의 개선 정도가 크게 나타났다. 인지된 신뢰성은 서비스 만족도에 영향을 준다는 사실도 알 수 있었는데, 이는 모바일 환경에서 신뢰성 제공 전략은 설득력을 높이기 위한 전략이면서도 사용자의 서비스 만족도를 높이기 위한 전략이 된다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구 결과는 모바일을 통해서 사용자에게 동기를 부여하고 더 나아가 직접적인 행동 수정이 이루어지도록 하는데 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

Reengineering Black-box Test Cases (블랙박스 테스트 케이스의 리엔지니어링)

  • Black-box testing needs to prepare fitting test data, execute software, and examine the result. If we test software effectively, not only selecting test cases but also representing test cases are important. In static testing effectiveness of testing activities also depends on how to represent test cases and checklist to validate. This paper suggests a method for finding ineffective critical test cases and reengineering them. An experiment of reengineering digital set-top box software shows the process and results of checking effectiveness and conformance of current test cases and patching test cases. The result shows how much save the test time and improve test coverage by reengineering test cases. Methods of reuse and restructuring test cases are also studied to fit into embedded product-line software.

  • An optimization Program is developed to produce new topologies of plane structures under multiload case. A four-node finite element is used in the response analysis to reduce the computation time and to ultimately achieve practical topology optimization. The bilinear finite element is prone to produce chequer-boarding phenomenon and a simple filtering process is therefore adopted. An artificial material model is employed to represent the structural material and the resizing algorithm based on the optimality criteria is adopted to update the material density parameter during optimization process. With newly developed optimization program, the comparison study has been made between single and multiload cases and its results are described in this paper. From numerical results, it appears that multiload case should be considered to achieve the practical topology optimization.

  • 출석체크를 자동으로 하는 시스템으로 QR 코드나 NFC 등의 전자 태그기반 방식들이 있으나 태깅을 수동으로 해야 하는 불편함과 함께 태그의 물리적 파손 문제 등의 단점이 그 확산에 제한 사항으로 작용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 태그 기반 대신 Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) 비콘 신호를 학생들의 스마트폰으로 수신하여 위치와 시간을 확인함으로 출석을 자동으로 체크하는 경제적이고 안정적인 출결 시스템을 제안한다. 나아가, 시스템 초기 및 유지 비용을 구성하는 요인들을 분석하고, 시스템의 안정적 운영을 보장하는 제한조건 하에서 BLE 비콘의 설치 및 운영의 경제성을 높이기 위한 추가적 변인들을 열거하고 변인들 간의 trade-off를 고려하여 시스템을 설계해야 함을 보였다.

  • As construction projects are getting larger, more complex and specialized, the size and scale of the structures are increasing and large-scale projects with multiple participants involved have continuously been ordered. Due to the nature of a large-scale construction project, when there are interferences and conflicts in process, schedule and area among project participants, the project requires more time and efforts to resolve the issues as it progresses further. This study suggests the interface management model that is time-saving and physically beneficial in solving interface issues based on case study. This study provides a practical management model including the organization of interface consultative group, checklist preparation, LIST management and PMIS application, which will be useful for the construction sites seeking effective know-how to manage design interferences and changes.

  • The work of investigation in the laboratory medicine includes various kinds of investigations and microbes and it is too complicated to draw needed results in time. So, we aim to improve work performance of the laboratory medicine. For this study, we implemented the scheduling system in microbe investigation using agent environment and the workflow management system to manage the schedule of investigation, and the query system to check the schedule. And preliminary report and final report of microbe investigation can be announced automatically using agent. The scheduling system implemented could identify the lack or waste of resources and thus enable efficient management and distribution of resources. The query system could check the schedule and retrieve the Processing status in short time, enabled the automated report, and reduced possible interrupts and the delay of work that can be occurred in confirming process. It also enables users to access from local and remote sites. Also, this system can reduce the conflicts among People that may occur in unexpected situations because it enables doctors to confirm those situations such as the malfunction of instrument and the lack of agar or reagent, and the efficiency of work process can be expected.

  • According to the National Security Service of the National Police Agency, intrusion into empty houses increased form 2013 to 2016. Consequentially this statistics seemed that house intrusion, burglary is increasing. Also according to the statistics of Public Prosecutors'Office, a total 203,573 theft crimes occurered in 2016, of which 18.9% were theft after intruding. By reson of this is most frequent case of intrusion and theft, we have been studing the RodSecurityRobot model to enhance security in many factories to manage. In order to care for security to the high place, we have propsed a road guard robot model which controls the ground in cooperation with the robot that manages the ground by using the drones. The robot and the drone move together to autonomy to avoid objects. And they check time interval. they also goes to the charger to charge when there is no battery.

  • An MTBF(mean time between failures) of large scale parallel systems is known to be only an order of several hours, and large computations sometimes result in a waste of huge amount of CPU time, However. the MPI(Message Passing Interface), a de facto standard for message passing parallel programming, suggests no possibility to handle such a problem. In this paper, we propose an application-level fault tolerant computation system, purely on the basis of the current MPI standard without using any non-standard fault tolerant MPI library, that can be used for general scientific synchronous parallel computation.
