Integrating AI Generative Art and Gamification in an Art Education Model to Enhance Creative Thinking (AI 생성예술과 게임화 요소가 통합된 미술 교육 모델 개발 : 창의적 사고 향상)

  • In this study, we developed a virtual artist play lesson model using gamification concepts and AI-generated art programs to foster creative thinking in freshman art majors. Targeting first-year students in the Digital Media Art Department at Sichuan Film & Television University in China, this course aims to alleviate fear of artistic creation and enhance problem-solving abilities. The educational model consists of four stages: persona creation, creative writing, text visualization, and virtual exhibitions. Through persona creation, students established their artist identities, and by introducing game-like elements into writing experiences, they discovered their latent creativity. Using AI-generated art programs for text visualization, students gained confidence in their creations, and in the virtual exhibitions, they were able to enhance their self-esteem as artists by appreciating and evaluating each other's works. This educational model offers a new approach to promoting creative thinking and problem-solving skills while increasing learner engagement and interest. Based on these research findings, we expect that by developing and implementing educational strategies that cultivate creative thinking, more students will grow their artistic capacities and creativity, benefiting not only art majors but also students from various fields.

  • Visual communication based on socio-cultural context, such as emoticons on social media, is increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to study the visual expression of metonymy as a means to correctly understand the communication method in the age of visual culture. The purpose of this study is to explore how metonymy is visualized within a cultural context. Specifically, , a typical underlying phenomenon of metonymy expression, and the expression principles of various reproduced through it are identified by pairing them with the cultural context. Based on context theory, which is a representative discourse in the social science field, emoticons from in high context and emoticons in in low context were selected and compared as case study subjects. The major findings are: First, a visual application model of metonymy was proposed regarding the process through which metonymy is reproduced as a visual result. Second, the types of metonymy and their salience attribute applied to the emoticon expression method was identified in detail. Third, based on the contextual theory, how the characteristics of high-context visual metonymy differ from that of low-context visual metonymy were presented. In the future, the results of this study can be used as a criterion for judging the local acceptability and local suitability of design results in the design development process that requires the use of localization strategies.

  • Recently, the earth's highest temperature is rising due to severe climate change and heat wave. In addition, due to the increase of elderly population over 65, the number of heat patients is also increasing. In particular, the elderly who live alone in poor living environments, the lower income group, and the socially disadvantaged, such as children and pregnant women, are exposed to the dangers of heat waves, so the government's practical measures are urgently needed. In this study, we will build a visualization platform for each level of heat wave and provide the necessary countermeasure solution according to the heat wave risk. "The Hazard Visualization Platform for Heatwave" provide not only simple information, but also a customized safety service for citizens to prevent heatwaves, respond to heatwaves, and utilize heat wave information.

  • gCRM(geographical Customer Relationship Management)이란 지리정보시스템(GIS)에서 활용되는 각종 데이터베이스와 기업내외적인 고객관계관리(CRM)의 실무 마케팅전략상 필요에 의해 접목된 하나의 새로운 솔루션 개념을 말한다. 현재 gCRM의 수준은 일차원 혹은 다차원 분석 결과를 GIS기술을 이용하여 시각화하는 정도가 대부분이지만, 공간데이터마이닝 등 향상된 분석기법과 위성위치활인시스템인 GPS(Global Positioning System), PDA, 핸드폰 기술과 접목하여 업그레이드된 gCRM 솔루션으로 발전하고 있다. 여기에 고객들의 기본 성향을 파악할 수 있는 지역특성 반영 라이프스타일 정보를 활용한다면 더욱 발전된 지리정보시스템 기반 고객관리(gCRM)를 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

  • As a lot of information and media are given to users in Internet space nowadays, users feel disoriented or "lost in space" intensively. So it is suggested that we have the system to reduce information overload and to propose effective and efficient information. In this study we present a visualizing technique which uses fisheye views on data adjacency to combine global context and local details for presentation of many results in limited space. Data Adjacency on graph theory is applied to set up degree of interest which is main focus in fisheye views. Graph theory is useful to solve the problem resulted from various combinational optimization, especially it has advantages to analyze issues in information space like Internet. To test the usability of the proposed visualization technique, we compared the effectiveness of different visualization techniques. Results show that our method is evaluated with respect to less time and high satisfaction for a task accomplishment.

  • The effects of information quality and the importance of information have been reported in the Information Systems (IS) literature. However, little has been learned about the impact of information visualization types and contextual information on decision quality. Therefore, this study investigated the interaction effects of these variables on decision quality by conducting a laboratory experiment. Based on two types of information visualization and the availableness of contextual information, this study had a $2{\times}2$ factorial design. The dependent variables used to measure the outcomes of decision quality were decision accuracy and time. The results demonstrated that the effects of contextual information on decision quality were significant. In addition, there was a significant main effect of information visualization on decision accuracy. The findings suggest that decision makers can expect to improve their decision quality by enhancing information visualization types and contextual information. This research may extend a body of research examining the effects of factors that can be tied to human decision-making performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기 자동차 충전소의 전력 소모량 추정 알고리즘을 웹 서버에 도입하여, 충전소에 의한 전력소비가 주변 전력 계통에 미치는 영향을 모니터링할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 우선, 관련 기관으로부터 공급 받는 지역 내 실시간 충전소 별 이용 상태 정보로부터 충전 시간과 그 횟수를 도출하고, 이를 충전소 마다 누적하여 소비 전력을 추정한다. 이렇게 추정된 충전소 별 전력 소모량을 웹 페이지를 통해 사용자에게 시각화하여 제공한다. 또한 같은 지역의 구간별 실시간 교통량 또한 같은 방식으로 제공하여, 전기 자동차 충전소 전력소모량의 변화 추이와 교통량의 변화 추이 간 상관관계를 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 따라서 제안하는 시스템은 지역 내 전기 자동차 충전소의 전력 소모량 및 그 변화 추이 관측하고 이를 바탕으로 지역 내 충전소 추가 설치 필요성, 전력 계통 부하 예측, 충전소 재배치 등 전기 자동차 충전소 운영 전략을 수립하는데 사용할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 진접선 개통 이후 급증하는 서울 지하철 4호선의 혼잡 문제와 현재 진행 중인 장애인 차별 반대 시위를 다룬다. 네이버의 지도 API를 활용해 위도와 경도 데이터를 추출하고 지하철 노선별 장애인 승객 수와 최대 지연시간을 시각화한다. 2호선과 4호선의 혼잡도가 표시되어 문제의 심각성을 알 수 있다. 평균 출퇴근 시간 탑승 및 하차 수치를 분석하여 4호선 편의시설 개선, 2·4호선 열차 운행 횟수 늘리기, 환승역 운영 최적화 등 전략적 권장 사항을 제시한다. 제안된 대책은 서울시 지하철 시스템의 접근성 향상, 혼잡완화, 전반적인 효율성 제고를 통해 보다 폭넓은 교통시설 개선과 승객 편의 증진에 기여하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

  • 본 논문은 2017년부터 2022년까지의 항공정보통계포털 데이터를 기반으로 코로나19가 항공 산업에 미치는 영향을 깊이 분석한 것이다. 인천국제공항, 김포공항, 제주국제공항의 데이터를 중점으로 사용했다. 국내선과 국제선의 항공수요 추이를 월별로 시각화하여, 코로나19의 직접적인 영향 뿐 아니라 사회경제적인 다양한 요인과의 상호작용을 강조했다. 특히, 국내 여행비용 상승이 해외 여행의 매력도를 높일 수 있는 요인으로 논의되었다. 논문은 코로나19의 영향이 계속되며 항공 산업에 지속적인 변화를 초래하고 있다는 결론을 내리고, 항공 산업의 미래 전략 수립 시 다양한 변수를 고려하는 중요성을 강조했다. 또한, 코로나19 이후의 항공 여행 패러다임을 예측하는 데 중요한 기초 자료로서의 역할을 강조한다.

  • Ministry of Information and Communication is pushing for IT 839 strategy that has main points : 8 major service which can develop IT industry of Korea on the whole, 3 major infra, and 9 major new growth power. Of these, RFID/USN utilizing service is expected to exert a great influence the whole industry from field that is closely related with our life to national defense, supply, construction, transportation, physical distribution, manufacture, circulation, and service. In domestic case, departure of RFID/USN field is a little bit later than advanced nation's, and a technique difference between domestic field and that of advanced nation is about 2 years. In this situation, in order to develop middleware of various field gearing RFID Tag efficiently, we have to study about user interface and data analysis technique that is used in middleware commonly. This paper searches about WPF that appears in user interface field with up-to-date technique, and embodies 3 dimension visualization information system with WPF.
