This study analyzed the perception of prospective elementary school teachers in relation to using the history of Korean mathematics. The results of this study showed that the pre-service teachers realized using the history of Korean mathematics more importantly than the history of mathematics. They thought that the contents of the history of Korean mathematics should be increased in mathematics education and pre-service teacher education. The participation experience in teacher education about the history of Korean mathematics had a positive effect on the perception of pre-service teachers. Finally, this paper asserted that teacher education is the key to the teacher perception on and using of the history of Korean mathematics.

제7차 수학과 교육과정에서는 기술 공학적 교구를 수학-교수 학습에 적극적으로 활용할 것을 권장하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 Computer Algebra System인 Maple 6을 고등학교 수학 수업에 활용할 수 있는 영역과 방안에 대하여 알아보고, Maple 6을 활용한 학습 자료를 개발해 봄으로써 7차 교육과정의 고등학교 수학 수업에 활용할 수 있도록 한다.

The focus of the present study is to seek the ways of using popular culture for teaching mathematics. Thus, this study theoretically investigated concepts of popular culture and the meanings of using popular culture for mathematics teaching and learning. And the current study analyzed both the influence of popular culture of mathematics learning and how mathematics is represented through popular culture. Finally, this study suggested teaching models using popular culture and implications for further research in mathematics education about popular culture.

본 연구에서는 제7차 교육과정에 의하여 발행된 수학I 교과서의 통계단원에 수록된 ICT 소재에 대하여 활용성 및 접근용이성의 측면에서 분석하였다. 즉 각 교과서에 소개된 모든 컴퓨터 프로그램을 실행 시켜 보았으며 그 내용 및 활용의 용이성을 분석하고 소개된 사이트의 폐쇄 여부와 학생들의 활용 가능성에 관하여 조사하였다. 이와 같은 교과서의 비교분석을 통하여 통계 단원의 보완점을 모색하고, 교육현장에서 기본 자료로서 활용하도록 하였다.

최근 세계의 수학교육 동향은 모든 학생들이 수학을 이해하는 것을 돕고, 그들이 점차 증가하고 있는 기술 공학적 세계에서 수학을 사용할 수 있도록 준비시키기 위해서는 계산기나 컴퓨터를 적극 활용할 것을 권장하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 계산 능력 배양이 목표인 영역을 제외하고는, 복잡한 계산, 수학적 개념 ${\cdot}$ 원리 ${\cdot}$ 법칙의 이해, 문제 해결력 향상 등을 위하여 가능하면 계산기나 컴퓨터를 적극 활용하도록 하고 있다. 하지만, 아직까지 구체적인 활용 방침이나 범위, 구체적인 지도 지침이 없는 것은 계산기 활용과 관련한 연구가 부족하기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 먼저 계산기 활용 방안을 살펴보고, 제 7차 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 5, 6학년 수학과 교과 내용 중에서 계산기를 활용할 수 있는 내용을 선정하여 구체적으로 그 활용 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The 7th curriculum sets a basic direction based on learner centered teaching. To this end, the curriculum puts a focus on activity centered classes using teaching tools. In reality, however, elementary school teachers find using the teaching tools in their classes difficult, although there are various studies going on to improve the practical use of the teaching tools in the classroom. In this paper, we present an effective approach to utilize those prior studies on using the teaching tools in classes for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

This study is a basic step research for developing mathematics teacher education program using the potential power of explorative softwares for learning geometry. This study investigates the characteristics of the softwares and noteworthy points in its applying process. Analizing an impact of this softwares on the mathematics leaching and learning, this study presents the desirable direction for developing the teacher education program for mathematics teachers to be ableto teach successfully. Focusing on GSP as an to manage classrooms of the 21st century successfully. Focusing on GSP as an excellent explorative software used widely in the current mathematics classrooms, this study investigates the potential contents to be used in the teacher education program for mathematics teachers to get new kinds of experiences about the softwares and suggests implications for choosing contents and instructional methods of the program using the softwares.

본 연구에서는 van Hieles의 기하학 사고 수준에 따라, GSP(Geometer's SketchPad)를 활용한 초등기하 영재교육에 활용할 수 있는 프로그램을 구안하여, 구안된 프로그램을 제주대학교 부설 과학영재교육원 초등수학반 학생들에게 적용, 그 효과를 검증해봄으로써, GSP를 이용한 초등수학 영재 교육 프로그램의 개발과 활용 가능성을 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다.

본 연구는 예비 초등학교 교사들이 수학과에서의 ICT활용 교육을 이해하고 수업설계 부분을 강화한 ICT활용 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 과정안을 개발하는 능력을 키우기 위한 목적을 지닌다. 구체적으로, 예비 초등학교 교사들의 필수과목인 초등수학교육방법에 관한 강좌에서 수학과 수업 모형을 공부하고 ICT의 적극적인 활용 사례를 분석하며 기존의 과정안에 관한 비평 능력을 바탕으로 한 학기 프로젝트로써 초등수학 5학년과 6학년의 과정안을 개발한 사례를 논의한다. 교육과정 운영 및 과정안 개발 측면, 예비교사들의 ICT활용 교육에 관한 인식 등의 측면에서 연구${\cdot}$개발의 결과를 서술하고 본 연구로부터 얻을 수 있는 시사점에 대해서 논의한다.

In this study, in order to use history of mathematics effectively, we investigate the pre-service teachers' perceptions about utilizing history of mathematics. As a result, we must introduce history of mathematics will be able to apply concretely in class to the pre-service teachers. And We must provide the method which is various will be able to apply history of mathematics in class to the pre-service teachers enough. Also, We must provide the instance which relates in utilizing history of mathematics to pre-service teachers enough.
