As the environment of power systems changes, the demand and necessity for new electrical energy market are increasing. Especially, efforts to increase the efficiency of electric energy use by using demand response programs are being studied constantly in advanced countries and it is operated as a real market. This paper presents a study on the baseline load estimation required in the new power market, such as demand response, P2P electricity trading etc. The proposed method estimates the baeline load through analysis of the load pattern and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method using actual data.

현재 전력수급 상황은 제4차 전력수급 기본계획을 통하여 안정적인 전력공급을 도모하고 있다. 미래의 전력수요를 예측하는 수요예측(Load Forecast)과 소비자의 합리적인 전기소비를 가능하게 하는 수요관리(Demand Management) 및 소비자가 능동적으로 전기소비를 선택하여 사용할 수 있는 수요반응(Demand response)이 있다. 이와 더불어 제 3차 신재생에너지 기본계획을 바탕으로 신재생에너지원을 고려해 수요예측 및 수요관리를 한다면 환경문제와 연료고갈 문제의 개선과 기타 에너지원의 절약이 가능하다. 또한 탄소량 배출 감소 효과와 현재의 수요관리 목표량보다 효과적인 수요관리가 가능하다.

Technology to optimize and utilize the use and supply of the electric power between consumer and supplier has been on the rise among the smart grid power market network in electric power demand management based on the Internet. Open Automated Demand Response system protocol, which can deliver Demand Response needed in electric power demand management to electricity supplier, system supplier and even the user is openADR 2.0b. This paper used the most credible, cosmopolitanly proliferated EPRI open source and analysed the variety of security vulnerability that developed VEN and VTN system may have. Using the simulator for attacking openADR protocol, the VEN/VTN system that has been implemented as EPRI open source was conducted to attack in a variety of ways. As a result of the analysis, we were able to get the results that the VEN/VTN system has security vulnerabilities to the parameter tampering attacks and service flow falsification attack. In conclusion, if you want to implement the openADR2.0b protocol system in the open or two-way communication environment smart grid network, considering a variety of security vulnerability should be sure to seek security technology and services.

This study estimated the paper demand and supply using VAR model. And the variance decomposition and impulse response were analyzed using the model. In the model of paper demand, the own price change accounts for about seventeen percent of variation in the demand, and the gross domestic product change accounts for about twenty eight percent of variation in the demand. And the impacts of a shock to the own price and gross domestic product are significant for about six months on the demand for paper. In the model of paper supply, the own price change accounts for about twenty nine percent of variation in the supply, and the pulp price change accounts for about twelve percent of variation in the supply. And the impacts of a shock to the own price and pulp price are significant for about six months on the supply of paper.

In this paper, we estimate a time series model of energy demand in the industrial sector with an asymmetric response to energy prices. Including the asymmetric response to energy prices in the model strengthens robustness of the cointegration relationship and reduces the variation of the estimated coefficients across the estimating methods. We find that rising energy prices have a larger impact on energy demand than falling energy prices, with the largest impact occurring when energy prices rise to new highs. The estimation results are partially improved when using gross output rather than value added as a measure of production. Using single equation methods to estimate the asymmetric response model, the elasticity of gross output ranged from 1.05 to 1.09 and the elasticity of price-rise ranged from -0.48 to -0.56, which is similar to the results of international studies.

전력산업의 환경변화에 따라 단일 공급자였던 한전을 비롯하여 전력판매사업자, 민간부하사업자, 에너지컨설팅사업자 등 에너지관련 서비스를 제공하는 주체자(이하 ESP : Energy Service Provider)의 참여로 전력시장이 경쟁체제로의 변화가 예상된다. 이러한 주체는 전력에너지 관리 최적화를 위한 수요측의 전력자원과 정보의 통합관리가 필요하다. 또한 수요측 서비스 개선과 동시에 수익을 창출할 수 있는 부가 서비스의 개발이 또한 요구될 것이다. 최근 석유가격의 지속적인 상승으로 도매시장가격은 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 현재 우리나라는 CBP 형태의 전력시장에서 시간대별로 변하는 전력가격(SMP)에 의하여 시장가격이 정해진다. 따라서 시장가격이 높아지면 높아질수록 전력을 구입하고 있는 전력사업자의 경우 구입비의 증가로 재무 건전성 확보에 악영향을 초래한다. 따라서 효율적인 전력 수요절감을 통해 구입전력비를 절감할 수 있는 신수요관리 기법이 필요하다. 이러한 신수요관리 기법은 국가적으로는 하계수급비상 해소와 신규 건설비용 및 혼잡비용을 회피하고, 전력사업자는 구입전력비의 절감을 통해 전력도매시장가격의 안정을 도모할 수 있다. 이러한 수요절감 기법 중 수요측의 자율적인 참여 및 반응을 기반으로 하는 수요반응(Demand Response, 이하 DR)이 있으며, 이는 전력사업자와 수요 측 전력부하설비와의 양방향 통신 및 제어 인프라 구축이 필요하다. 본 논문은 이러한 DR운영에서 반드시 필요한 수요측 전력부하설비와의 양방향 통신 및 제어 인프라구축에 대한 방법 및 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

The article studies macroeconomic effects of the oil shock for Korea, which is a representative emerging economy of Asia and a small open economy. This article analyzed the macroeconomic effects of oil shocks in terms of demand and supply. In the case of Korea, oil price shocks different responds depending on factors of shock. Oil supply shock have led to a decline in industrial activity and interest rate, and oil specific demand shock have shown the greatest increase in interest rate relative to other oil price shocks. In addition, oil demand shock driven by economic activity showed that the comsumer price and the exchange rate are the largest compared to the oil shock caused by other factors. Therefore, policy makers will need to identify the source of the oil shock.

2003년 12월 발생한 BSE의 영향으로 미국은 중요한 쇠고기 수출 시장을 잃었고, 2004년 초에 발생한 AI의 영향으로 가금류 수출에 제약을 받게 되었다. 또한 양돈사업의 높은 수익으로 인해 양돈업자들이 생산량을 늘려 돼지고기 공급량이 크게 늘었다. 그러나 육류 공급이 크게 증가했음에도 불구하고 2004년 소 가격은 2003년 수준보다 높았고, 육계가격은 기록적인 수준이었다. 2005년은 희망차게 시작되었다. 육류 단백질에 대한 수요가 크게 증가한 반면 육류 공급 증가는 수요에 미치지 못하여 가격은 높은 수준을 유지하고 있다. 또한 곡물가격은 적정한 수준을 유지하고, 여러 해 지속된 미 서부의 가뭄이 해소되고 있다. 생산자들은 수익향상에 따라 반응하고 있다. 돼지와 가금류 생산자들은 현재 이들 산업의 호전된 수익성에 반응하여 생산량을 완만하게 증가시킬 것으로 예상된다

This study estimated the fiberboard demand using VAR and econometric model, and compared the prediction accuracy of the two models. And the variance decomposition and impulse response were analyzed using VAR model, and predicted the fiberboard demand. The VAR model was specified with lagged dependent variable, lagged own price, lagged construction product, dummy. The econometric model was specified with own price, substitute price, construction product, dummy. The dummy variable reflected the abrupt decrease in fiberboard demand in the late 1990's. The results showed that the fiberboard demand prediction can be performed more accurately by VAR model than by econometric model. In the VAR model of fiberboard demand, after twelve months, the construction product change accounts for about fifty percent of variation in the demand, and the own price change accounts for about thirty percent of variation in the demand. On the other hand, the impact of a shock to the construction product is significant for about twelve months on the demand of fiberboard, and the impact of a shock to the own price is significant for about six months on the demand of fiberboard.
