This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of rain shelter cultivation on the its quality of safflower. The development and growth of safflower, especially the number of secondary branches per plant was increased by rain shelter. Under the rain shelter started earlier, the seed yield was increased by 95% compared with that of non-shelter condition. The number of plants in a unit area the number of flower buds and seeds per plant and seed weight were increased in rain shelter condition. As those plants were cultivated under the rain shelter, lightness(L) of their seeds was increased but redness (a) and yellowness (b) were decreased.

Cognitive radio technology gives secondary users chances that they can use specific spectrum of the primary user when the primary user doesn't use it. This paper proposes the algorithm that maximizes the benefit of the primary user considering spectrum price and auction period by using the auction game theory. According to the ratio of spectrum that secondary users bid, primary user allocates spectrum to secondary users. In the process of repeated auction, the primary user gets to find the optimal price of spectrum. Using the price and the proposed utility function of primary user, we derive the optimal auction period. At the same time, the primary user finally determines the price of spectrum appropriate for the optimal period.

To establish the proper size of seedling of A. gigas, different weight of seedlings were used for this study. Agronomic characters including plant height, number of leaf, leaf length, number of inflorescence, fresh weight and rate of bolting of the aerial parts, root length, root diameter, number of lateral root and root weight of the underground parts were determined and correlation coefficients among them were estimated. Growth of A. gigas showed the significant vigor for all the characters of the aerial parts along with increasing of seedling weight, but root weight in yield decreased in proportion to increasing of seedling weight due to lignification of the root tissue. When the smaller seedlings were transplanted, bolting rates decreased to about 16% as compared with the traditional size of seedlings. Correlation coefficients between aerial and root characters in A. gigas were negative, and the characters such as plant height, number of leaf, number of inflorescence and fresh weight per plant showed highly significant correlation with the rate of bolting which is one of the characters having great influence on yield.

A consecutive Jiao Chio acupuncture therapy was performed for 3 days in the 45-90 days old 11 calves of which have been shown severe watery diarrhea. The discharge of the infected calves was yellowish brown in color. Two calves of these patients were infected wi pulmonary disease as well as diarrhea. Thus, Su Qi and Fei Yu acupuncture therapy was carried out additionally after dosing with antibiotics twice for The two infected calves. Blood chemical values and serum neutralizing antibody titers were checked, and total blood cell count was also carried out to know the therapeutic effect before and after(21 days) acupuncture therapeutics. The results are as follows ; 1, The diarrhea has ceased one day after begining of the acupuncture therapy in 5 calves, and the cessation of the diarrhea in remaining calves occurred in 1 calf each on 3rd and 4th day, and 2 calves on 6th day, respectively. Two calves infected with pulmonary disease as well diarrhea were cured 8 days after the begining of the therapcutics. 2. Rotaviruses wire detected in the feces of 2 calves, and bovine diarrhea viruses were detected in the 8 calves by the test for serum neutralizing antibody titers, and bovine coronaviruses were also detected in 5 calves. Four calves of the 5 bovine coronavirus infected calves were also infected with bovine diarrhea viruses. 3. Total leucocyte number, total amount of serum protein, and amount of fibringen were slightly increased, while total erythrocyte number, and erythrocyte packed cell volume were slightly decreased. These valucs were statistically not significant. Electrolytes of Na/sup +/, K/sup +/ and Cl/sup -/ were slightly decreased but these values also were not significant. These results indicate that the acupuncture therapeutics arc significantly effective to remove the viral diarrhea in the young calves.

In order to find out resistant varieties of the soybean to the cyst nematode. Heterodera glycines Ich. 64 soybean varieties were tested. 1. According to the result of investigations about correlation between numbers of cyst nematodes and soybean yields ; in pot test $Y=36.2-0.63\times(r=-0.74)$. and in field investigation $$Y=10.3-0.32\times(r=-0.56)$. There is a negative correlation between the density of nematodes and the soybean yield. 2. All of the recommended varieties were appeared susceptible; P I-84751. P I-90763. Southern-proripic. Keumgang-sorip. Baektai were appeared comparatively resistant ; and other varieties were appeared to be medium or susceptible. 3. Fewer larvae were developed into adult female cysts in resistant varieties than in susceptible ones.

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is characterized by multiple cysts within the renal parenchyma and is a common heritable disease in humans, dogs, and cats. However, a few cases of PKD have been described in captive pygmy hippopotamuses. Bilateral PKD was observed in a 33-year-old, 198-kg female pygmy hippopotamus during its necropsy in Seoul Zoo on 15 January 2013. The diagnosis of PKD was confirmed by gross findings and histopathological examination. One kidney was slightly enlarged, and the lower portion of other kidney contained a large cyst filled with light yellow, watery fluid. Both kidneys had numerous, variably sized fluid-filled cysts of 2 to 20 mm in diameter. Considerable portions of the renal cortex and medulla were replaced by cysts. Microscopic inspection showed that the cysts were lined with low cuboidal to flat epithelial cells. The present case report of PKD in a pygmy hippopotamus is the first in Korea.

Seongri scholars of the Joseon Dynasty said that portraits were revered as academic teachers, and that the personal meaning was typical. Portraits in the latter phase of Joseon Dynasty have been popular in various contexts, especially in the sense of the texture, the religious church, and the ritual service. The etiquette and written aspects contained in portraits can point out the problems of contemporary society's individualism and attitudes through the expressive and personal approach to the art of painting. The purpose of education is to explore relationships with others, to coordinate myself with others, to have respect for others, and to change the inner workings of individuals. Through this, we can explore and explore personality education elements and find ways to achieve personality education through the exploration of figures using portraits as educational material, the process of making portraits, and the discovery of meaning. Therefore, for systematic appreciation, we are planning to set up an appreciation standard by proposing a 3-step review process applied to the 2015 revised education course.

There are always possibilities for conflicts among individuals, between individuals and groups, and among groups because of the complex and diverse nature of contemporary society. Some form of bodyguard is required to protect oneself from this constant possibility of conflicts and thus the concept of security was developed to meet the needs of one's safety. Furthermore, the increase in the number of crime and intellectual crimes now threatens not only the people with power, fortune, reputation but also all citizens. Meeting the need for safety became a challenging task for the world and a security-related industry as well as security-related careers were born. Therefore, schools and security institutions must provide education and training to nurture morality and stable psychological condition for their students/trainees. In order to offer them such working and educational environments, utilizing the sixth-sense the five senses is recommended and it is called security psychology training. This study identifies the psychology, the five senses, and the sixth sense of bodyguards while on duty and explores the training and education contents to utilize the sixth sense.

A congenital duplication cyst, which presents with symptoms of gastric outlet obstruction, is an unusual disorder in humans and a rare condition in animals. A 5-day-old male Korean native cattle was presented with anorexia and no defecation. On exploratory laparotomy, an oval shaped mass ($16{\times}7$ cm) was identified on the antimesenteric border of the proximal duodenum, with no communication between the intestinal lumen and the mass itself. Surgical correction for gastrointestinal tract patency was performed. The calf recovered well and was clinically normal three months after surgery. This case is the first report of a duodenal duplication cyst in a Korean native cattle.

Toegye pursues a life of pleasure, joy and nobility. Anyone who is a scholar shall feel a joy in learning and practicing. However, not everyone can enjoy true pleasure or true calling through self-cultivations. Everybody wants "a joy of distant friends' visitations." But most of Confucian scholars prefer forests as a place of learning and self-cultivation. Toegye especially likes a forest life and then gives same value to walking as to reading. "Not to be angry even if not recognized" must be a high stage of self-cultivation. Toegye does not pursue fame or glory and always resign into a country life. His life-time resignation makes him obtain great after-death fame and glory. Thus, nobody feels jealousy against him but adores him.
