  • The status and effectiveness of Bi-modal Tram is analyzed through the comparison of the transport effectiveness and operation cost between the public transportation systems (bus, light rail transit) considering the vehicle and operation characteristic of new transit system Bi-modal Tram. The standard operation schedule is established in consideration of the vehicle specification and operation characteristic of main public transportation modes, and then the annual average operation cost is estimated depending on the volume, speed, analysis length for respective public transportation mode. Through analyzing the operation cost and distribution characteristic of public transportation modes depending on the transport volume and travel speed, the operational efficiency suitable for the city is derived. It is concluded that the operational efficiency of Bi-modal Tram is superior to that of the bus and light rail transit on the aspect of travel volume and operation speed.

  • 현재 철도는 기술의 발전과 함께 초고속 대량수송, 정시성, 안전성, 에너지효율성 및 친환경성 등의 장점을 가지는 새로운 교통수단으로 재조명되고 있다. 국내에서도 고속철도 개통과 G7고속열차의 개발 등으로 철도기술은 제 2의 도약기에 들어서고 있으며, 특히 도로교통망의 포화로 인해 철도건설수요가 계속적으로 증가할 것으로 기대되는데, 기존 수송량의 흡수 및 장기적인 관점에서 철도교통망의 확장을 도모하기 위해서는 열차의 중량화와 고속화가 제반기술의 발전과 함께 지속적으로 추진될 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 이러한 차량의 중량화와 고속화는 실질적으로 선로 주변에 발생되는 소음 및 진동의 크기를 증가시키게 되는데, 최근 들어 소음 및 진동관련 환경기준의 강화와 민원의 증가 등으로 인해 친환경적인 측면에서 적극적인 소음 진동 저감대책의 수립과 관련 기술의 적용이 요구되고 있는 상황이다.(중략)

  • 현재 국가물류 수송의 경쟁력 향상과 증가되는 교통수요에 부응하기 위해 경부 고속철도의 건설 등 철도의 고속화와 수송량 증대에 많은 관심과 투자가 이루어지고 있지만, 점점 상승하는 유가 에너지 비용에 대한 문제가 발생하고 있어 전기 철도차량의 개발이 시급하다. 본 논문은 Simplorer 프로그램을 이용하여 열차 추진 장치에 관한 연구와 추후 열차 회생 에너지에 관한 연구를 하기 위해 추진 장치를 M-G set으로 구성 하였고 모터는 SVM(Space Vector PWM)방식으로, 제너레이터는 DTC(Direct Torque Control) 방식으로 제어하였다.

  • 우리나라 전기자동차의 잠재 전력수요는 최대부하 측면에서 분석해보면 2008년말 현재 우리나라 자동차 16,794,287대를 전력부하로 환산해보면 1,887,017MW로서 우리나라 발전용량(70,353MW)의 약27배로 나타난다. 다행히도 전기자동차는 비동시 부하이며 최대부하로 충전하지는 않으므로 동시에 그만한 최대전력수요가 필요한 것은 아니다. 그러므로 연간 공급가능한 전기에너지(GWh)를 밸리 필링(Vally Filling;여유 심야전력) 전력량으로 구해보면 약 50,151GWh/년이고, 전기자동차의 에너지 필요용량을 계산해보면 46,587GWh/년이 된다. 이 결과는 전기자동차용 에너지양이 기설 발전설비로 공급가능한 밸리 필링 전력량의 93%로서 전기자동차의 수요를 적당한 시간대로 유도하면 현재의 발전설비 용량으로도 전기자동차에 에너지 공급이 가능하다는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 수도권의 자동차가 45.9%를 차지하고 있어 향후 수도권의 전력공급을 위한 전력 수송의 병목현상인 북상조류의 문제는 심화될 위험이 있다. 하지만 전기자동차의 축전지를 계통에 연계하여 분산전원으로 운영한다면 계통의 피크전력과 예비전력, 주파수 조정 등에 이점을 가져올 수도 있을 것이다.

  • Area type is often used in freight demand analysis and logistics planning models. For example, in freight transportation planning. area type variable is most often commonly used in freight generation (attraction) model. Yet a reliable, forecastable and measurable definition or area type is generally not documented. In fact, there is little literature on the subject of predicting area type in the context of freight planning models. This can be troublesome when applying models to long-range logistics planning where significant changes in population and employment result in changes in the general character of an area. Through the use of Discriminant Model, GIS (Geographic Information System) analysis and Delphi methods, this paper presents the successful exploration for a quantifiable means of determining area type.

  • According to the demands of the times, Inchon international airport railroad opened up step by step but It is situation that much government subsidies are paid because It does not competitive power with road traffic by decline of schedule speed. Inchon international airport railroad users will convert by other transportation and minimize damage their time as travel time is prolonged. Therefore, need high speedization of airport railroad, this may act big role competitive power security as well as airport railroad activation with another public transportation. Thus, this paper suggests that a high speedization possibility section in the sections of airport railroad and train speed elevation effect analysis by roadbed, railroad, system improvement and the most efficient operation intervals analyzing each vehicles (AREX (120km/h), KTX (230km/h), EMU(Electric Multiple Unit, 180km/h) train running pattern.

Effects of Inflation Indexed Excise Duties on Transportation Fuel Consumption Using Demand Analysis based on the Linear Expenditure System in Korea (선형지출체계 수요함수 추정을 통한 수송용 유류 종량세의 물가연동제 도입효과 분석)

  • This paper estimates the effects of imaginary repeated increases in excise duties on fuel oil consumption and on their income redistribution according to changes in consumer price index, if the inflation indexation system was introduced right after the second Energy Tax Reform ended in July, 2007 in Korea. In fact, nominal excise rates have not been adjusted since 2007. As a result, the real excise rates on fuel oils have been diminished inversely proportional to the consumer price index. Own- and cross-price elasticities of fuel oils such as gasoline and diesel oil are estimated under the general equilibrium framework based on the linear expenditure system. Counterfactual analyses through microsimulation in a static model are adopted to estimate the effects of introducing inflation indexation into the fuel tax in 2007 when the second Energy Tax reform ended on the fuel consumption and income redistribution in 2014. Microsimulations suggest that its introduction could have reduced the consumption of gasoline and diesel oil by 8.8% and 5.4%, respectively, ending up with increased excise revenue by 11.9%. The revenue increase in spite of decreased consumption is mainly because their demands are price inelastic. It could also have increased positive income redistributive effect by 0.01%p (from 0.12% to 0.13%), which is measured in terms of percentage decrease in Gini coefficient. In other words, the fuel excise on the two fuel oils decreased by 0.13% the Gini coefficient of before and after fuel tax income in 2014. This implies that the inflation indexation could have enlarged the income redistributive effect up to 0.13% in 2014, if it is introduced in 2007.

  • According to governmental policies for green growth, the increase in the traffic volume of railroad is a representative method to reduce total greenhouse gas (GHG) emitted from transport. Comprehensive assessment for the GHG emission of railroad has been studied to compare the difference of transport modes just in the operating step excluded the construction step. The purpose of this study was to evaluate GHG emissions in railroad construction sector. The targets were some construction works for civil, track, building, and electric system in A line. The GHG emission source of constructing railroad infrastructure was mainly the energy consumption of heavy equipments. As a result, the civil construction sector showed more than 96% of total GHG emissions and its specific GHG emission was 2.191 ton $CO_2e/m$. Also, the specific GHG emissions of civil construction works were of the order: earthworks > tunnels > bridges > station. In future, it will be required to calculate the overall GHG emission of railroad through life cycle approaches including operation, maintenance and disposal step.

  • This study aims to analyse the current conditions of transport demand and its environmental problems in Gwangyang Port(GP), and to suggest crucial directions for Gwangyang Green Port(GGP) in Korea. This study consists of three main sections: concept of green growth and green port; the analysis of transport demand and environment situations in GP; policy directions for GGP. This study is mainly conducted by a literature review of related papers, an analysis of secondary data & papers, and interviews with port experts. This study presents important policy directions for successfully managing GGP in Korea as follows: modal shifts plan for green transport and logistics system in GP; energy-saving techniques in GP's berth operation; the application of environmentally friendly port operation methods in GP; construction of GP waterfront facilities; environmentally friendly disposal of maritime waste matters; establishment and implementation of port environment master plan. This study will make a big contribution to the building of green port policy and the providing of professional informations to government officials.

전력계통의 공해방지

  • 경제개발의 추진과 국민생활수준의 향상으로 에너지 소비는 매년 신장되고 있는 중에서도 수송 및 변환이 용이하고 사용에 편리한 전력의 수요는 계속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이에 반하여 한정된 에너지 자원의 편재 특히 산유국의 자의적인 가격인상에 따라 소위 에너지파동에 심각하게 되는 한편, 다른 산업분야와 마찬가지로 전력사업에 의한 공해내지 환경오염의 문제가 심각하게 부각되어 일부 선진국에서는 전원개발에 큰 타격을 주고 있는 실정에 있다. 우리나라에서는 아직까지는 그렇게 심각하지는 않으나 전원개발의 계속적인 추진에 따라서 전력계통의 공해문제가 곧 심각하게 부각될 것이 예상되므로 전력계통의 공해의 요인과 그 방지책을 요약해 보고저 한다.
