A study on Consumer Awareness and Preference on the Coordination Using Recycled Material in Dining Space (재활용(Re-cycling) 소재를 이용한 식공간 연출에 대한 소비자의 인식 및 선호도 연구)

  • The study is based on the serious environmental problems occurring these days to acknowledge the consumers awareness and preference according with the coordination using recycled materials in the dining space. As the result, considered the consumers had lack in recognition of using recycled materials when they tried to use them in their normal daily life. Also the females were far more interested than the males with the usage of the recycled materials inside the restaurant and its interior image along with married persons had more positive attitude towards it than the unmarried ones. With education back ground, highly educated peoples really quite didn't prefer the usage of the recycled materials. According with the income, the high earnings and with the occupation, the professionals with specialized jobs considered the practical use of aspects more important than above. Therefore the needs to educate and promote the consumers to use recycled materials in their every day lives, it is required to build social responsibility and finding the essential meanings to save resources so that they can utilize them with converted recognitions.

What We Want for Virtual Humans: Classification of Consumer Expectation Value on Virtual Influencer by Age Based on Q-methodology (가상 인간에 대한 우리들이 원하는 모습: Q방법론을 기반으로 한 연령대에 따른 소비자 기대 가치 분류)

  • This study focuses on consumers' perceptions of virtual influencers, which many companies recently used for marketing. This study uses the Q methodology to derive what kind of perception consumers have about virtual influencers who work with various appearances, background stories, and worldviews as components. In addition, we want to see how the expected value of virtual influencers differs by age group. To this end, 34 statements were produced through preliminary interviews and literature reviews. This study showed that some consumers preferred appearances similar to humans, despite recognizing that virtual influencers are fictional characters. Some other consumers preferred to feel like a fictional character by maintaining virtuality, confirming that there are both opposite consumers. In addition, consumers expect virtual influencers to have consistency and expertise in the content field covered, and some consumers do not prefer to show an overly commercial appearance. This study will likely provide implications for companies that want to utilize virtual influencers in considering which ones to use for target customers in marketing activities.

  • RFID 기술은 우리 생활에 편의를 도모해 주고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, RFID 기술은 소비자들의 프라이버시 문제를 유발할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에, 소비자들은 RFID 기술의 수용에 있어 적극적인 자세를 견지하는데 한계가 존재한다. RFID 기술수용에 대해 소비자들의 수용 형태는 개인의 인지 스타일에 따라 다양하게 나타난다. 실제로 소비자들 중 도전적이고, 새로움을 추구하고, 기술에 대한 이해가 높은 소비자들의 RFID 기술 수용은 그렇지 않은 소비자에 비해 높게 나타날 것이다. 이러한 소비자의 RFID 수용에 대한 사전 인지는 기업 측면에서 마케팅 전략 수립에 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소비자들의 RFID 기술 수용에 있어 인지 스타일 측면에서의 수용 차이를 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구결과는 RFID 기술 수용에 대한 소비자의 차별적 수용 특성을 제시해 주어, 소비자의 RFID 기술 수용 활성화에 유용한 가이드라인을 제공해 줄 것이다.

소비자전망지수의 유용성 검토

  • 경제적성과는 생산자, 소비자, 정부 등과 같은 경제주체들이 생산, 투자, 소비 등의 활동을 얼마나 유기적이며 효율적으로 잘 하느냐에 달려있고, 소비자전망조사는 경제주체 중 소비자의 향후 경기 및 소비에 대한 심리를 조사하고 이를 지수화하여 소비 및 경기 예측자료로 활용하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이렇게 작성된 소비자기대지수와 소비자평가지수는 서로 높은 상관관계를 가지고 움직이며, 이들의 차는 동행지수 순환변동치보다 3개월 정도 선행하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소비자기대지수는 계절성 검토결과 계절성이 있으며, 원계열보다 계절조정계열이 움직임이 뚜렷하며, 동행지수 순환변동치와 비교결과 선행성도 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이외에도 소비자기대지수는 소비관련 지표인 GDP 민간소비와 가계소비지출과도 서로 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 정보변수로서의 유용성이 있는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 해마다 방대한 양의 콘텐츠가 쏟아져 나오는 현재의 콘텐츠 시장은 '즐길 거리'가 차고 넘치는, 수요보다 공급이 많은 시장이다. 이러한 환경에서 소비자가 자신의 취향에 맞는 콘텐츠를 쉽고 빠르게 찾을 수 있게 하는 맞춤형 콘텐츠 제공의 측면에서 빅데이터의 효율적인 활용은 중요하다. 더 나아가 콘텐츠의 소비 단계 뿐만 아니라 기획 및 제작 단계에서도 빅데이터는 소비자가 흥미를 느낄만한 콘텐츠를 미리 예측하며, 성공 가능성 높은 콘텐츠를 기획 및 제작할 수 있게 하는데 기인하는 중요한 핵심 요소이다. 이미 게임, 영상, 음악 등의 분야에서는 개인의 기호와 취향에 맞춤화된 콘텐츠를 제공하거나 소비자에게 더 인기를 얻을 수 있는 콘텐츠 기획 및 개발에 빅데이터를 활용하고 있으며, 앞으로는 더욱 다양한 장르에서 빅데이터 활용 사례가 증가할 전망이다.

A Study of Dysfunctional Customer's Personality Information for Proposing 'Evil Persona' ('사악한 퍼소나' 제안을 위한 역기능적 소비자 성격 정보 연구)

  • Recently, service failure from dysfunctional customer behavior has been observed in various service industries. Customers so-called 'Jaycustomer' can make bad influence to other customer's service experience which can be the obstacle of ideal service delivery. Therefore, approaching dysfunctional customer in service design perspective have became necessary, and modelling such customers through persona could be useful. For this purpose, we suggested the concept 'Evil Persona', and to find statements of personality trait which can make designers predict dysfunctional customer behavior, literature review and Q method analysis were performed. In result, dysfunctional customer behaviors were differed from service characteristics and were able to predict by combinations of statements. Based on this, more detailed customer information could be offered by presenting differentiated dysfunctional behavior information according to service characteristics. Since service design expanded its area, 'Evil Persona' can be valuable as criteria of verifying and compensating idea's vulnerability and limitation.

  • For better understanding the relationship between consumers' perception and sensory characteristics of products, diverse types of rapid sensory profiling technique have been suggested as alternatives to conventional descriptive analysis. Among these, check-all-that-apply (CATA) method has gained popularity for studying consumers' perception and intuitive responses to products due to their simplicity, speed, and ease of use. CATA method has been used to gather consumers' perception derived from sensory characteristics of products as well as consumers' emotion responses to products in recent years. Moreover, many researchers reported that CATA method can be used to provide valuable information for product optimization by applying a penalty analysis and collecting responses to ideal product. Thus, this article reviews recent research using CATA in the field of sensory and consumer science and introduces practical applications to achieve various business objectives in food industry.

  • Recently, The development of information and communication technologies is having a very strong effect on the agri-food industry. Especially, agri-food content utilizing social network services such as Facebook and Twitter led to direct communication with consumers stirred into a new distribution channel. The purpose of this paper is to provide way to successful utilization of agri-food contents and improvement of purchase intention. The results of analyzing the relation between the three characteristics of SNS-social presence, conversation and interaction frequency-, consumer satisfaction and purchase intention are summarized as follows. First, characteristics of SNS of social presence and conversation have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Second, the interaction frequency does not have positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Finally, the consumer satisfaction has a positive effect on purchase intention.
