산업화 공업화가 진행되면서 농업은 상대적으로 쇠퇴했지만 소득수준 향상에 맞춰 축산업은 한동안 비약적으로 성장해왔다. 하지만 최근 몇 년간 시장 개방화로 해외 축산물 수입이 크게 늘면서 값싼 수입축산물 여파로 국내 축산업계가 위협 받는 상황에서 농협중앙회가 축산물 유통구조개선에 발 벗고 나섰다. 그 선두에 있는 이기수 농협중앙회 축산경제대표이사를 만나 취임 100일을 맞으면서 현재까지 추진사항과 함께 취임 첫 해 가장 역점을 두고 추진하는 과제는 무엇인지 그리고 축산농가 경영 안정을 위한 농협의 사업 계획에 대해 인터뷰한 내용을 정리했다.

중국의 전력소비는 1980-92년간 연율 7.9$\%$ 증가했으며, 1992-2010년간 실질 GNP 성장률이 연율 8$\%$라는 전제하에 전력소비는 연률 7.8$\%$증가할 것이다.(1992-2000년간은 연율 9$\%$, 2000-2010년간은 연율 7$\%$ 예상). 가정 및 상업부문 전기소비가 산업부문보다 급속히 증가할 것으로 보이는데, 이것은 소득증가로 가전기기의 보유가 늘어나기 때문이다. 지속적인 GNP서장의 제약요인으로 SOx, NOx, $CO_2$ 배출 등 환경 문제가 될 것이며, 발전 송전 배전인프라 건설에 필요한 자본투자규모가 1조달러에 이른다. 2010년에는 3백만b/d의 석유, 1백만톤의 석탄, 13.5백만톤의LNG 등 에너지수입에 국제수지균형이 애로요인으로 작용할 것으로 보인다.

경제 성장과 국민소득 수준의 향상으로 인해 인적, 물적 자원의 교류가 급속히 증가하면서 국가기반 시설로써 도로의 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있다. 도로 건설과 비례하여 도로관리에 투입되는 유지보수비용 또한 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 합리적인 도로 관리 방안이 마련되어야 하며, 도로 이용자들의 이용 편리성, 안정성 향상 등과 같은 도로의 질적 개선 요구에 부응하기 위하여 한국건설 기술연구원에서는 도로관리통합시스템을 개발하여 운용 중에 있다. 본고는 한국건설기술연구원에서 수행 중에 있는 일반 국도 도로관리통합시스템에 대하여 개략적으로 소개하고자 한다.

우리나라에서 굴양식은 최근에 와서 채묘 및 종묘수급의 불안정으로 생산량 변동 폭이 커질 뿐만 아니라 그 생산량도 점차로 줄어들고 있는 추세에 있다. 그러므로 지속적인 어민소득향상과 굴 생산의 안정적인 공급을 위해서는 환경적응 능력이 강하고 고부가 가치성을 가진 새로운 양식 대상품종을 개발하여 굴 양식을 다원화 할 필요가 있다. 새로운 양식대상 종의 선정은 양식 주 종인 참굴과는 생태학적으로 경쟁적 위치에 있지 않은 종을 선택하는 것이 가장 바람직하다. (중략)

인구가 성장한다는 사실과 함께 인구가 지역적으로 이동하는 현상은 사회과학에 있어서 중요한 연구대상이 되어왔다. 전통적으로 인구의 동학적 측면은 사회학의 주된 연구대상이 되어왔으며 근래에는 인구학(demography)이라는 새로운 독립과학의 분과로서 더욱 이 분야에서의 연구의 심도와 폭이 확대되었다. 그러나 인구의 동학적 측면을 인간의 경제형태의 일환으로 관찰할 수 있는 기회와 가능성이 점차적으로 크게 부각되자 전통적인 경제이론을 적용함으로써 이러한 문제를 분석/구명하고자 하는 동향이 나타나게 되었다. 특히 인구의 단기적 지역간 이동이 경제사회의 질적인 변화와 이에 따르는 산업구조간의 노동력 균형의 재조정에 따라 원인되고 있다는 사실은 인구의 동학적 측면에 경제학적 분석이 당연히 이루어져야 한다는 요구를 초래시키기에 이르렀다.

Globalization has brought about rapid economic, technological, and cultural changes. In order for countries around the world to communicate, recognize and understand globalization, creativity or planning ability can be used to code. In this paper, we would like to present and prove a data analysis that can solve world problems. In the global market, the value of goods or services increases with connectivity. This connection is becoming one of the factors that increase the value of culture. Changes taking this into account promoted cultural spread and innovative growth, and increased productivity and competitiveness in each region of the world. This paper compares the income of the middle class in the United States on the impact of globalization and anti-globalization on cultural spread and innovative growth. Globalization has created an environment in which various elements of K-culture can interact and spread. Through the Internet, social media, and international travel, globalization has had a positive impact on Korea's innovative growth. In areas such as economic activity, technological innovation, and creative industries, globalization has facilitated new tech and approaches, Through this, it changed the existing economic model and contributed to exports K-culture with a new middle class model. However, globalization in the cultural industry can result in the loss of regional characteristics & individuality, which can lead to the middle class cultural unification and alienation(chasm). As a result of the empirical analysis of K-exports for the middle income in the United States, cultural diffusion and innovation must be developed even in anti-globalization. With these industrial changes the soft power value of the Korean Wave proves that it can create value for use for the middle class of major exporting countries.

This article examines the continuity and change of Korean welfare regime during 1990s. Democracy, globalization and the financial crisis changed the landscape of Korean society as a whole and provided a catalyst for the change of the Korean welfare regime. In order to show how and what changed in Korean welfare regime, this study concentrates on the transformations of income maintenance programmes and social welfare services. The changed aspects are as follow: (1) The ratio of social expenditure to GDP has increased during 1990s and now stood at ten percent level. (2)Rather than backing up the company welfare, government strove to build and expand income maintenance devices for all citizens. (3) The poverty and inequality reduction effects of income maintenance programs are very weak in early 1990s, but they are gradually getting stronger impact on poverty and inequality. But, there are also continuance. (1) In spite of the relative development of income maintenance programs, social welfare services are still poorly designed as before. (2) The expenditure level of social welfare services shows sharp contrast to income maintenance programs and lagged behind the other OECD countries. (3) The expansion of social service sector employment are also not so salient. In 2002, social service employment is only at close to 2.5 per cent of the total employment. Accordingly, korean welfare regime is now characterized by a model which is to curb poverty and inequality by engaging in direct government provision of income maintenance programs, but refrain from expanding social service by relying on net welfare which encourage the provision of services within the family. A implication of our analysis is that the expansion of social welfare Korea saw after 1997 was not really an regime shift. According to the arguments of Peter Hall, first and second order changes in policy do not automatically lead to third order changes which imply regime shift. Policy changes which occurred during 1990s was not accompanied by a shift in policy paradigms. Family dependency in welfare is not yet changed.

We analyzed both current local policies and in-depth survey data to find out a way to provide job opportunity and income source to local young people in so-called job guarantee system. The young generation in current Korean society has been experiencing both growth without employment and severe economic inequality at the same time, though they should have taken part actively in social development. Their rights for work and survival have also been threatened and losing hope for the future is an widespread symptom in this generation. Kwangju metropolitan city(KMC) has been supporting certain amount of case income and job experience to young people in Kwangju through a local government policy called Kwangju Young Generation Job Experience Dream Service. In spite of high level of satisfaction from the participants, limitations such as below average job performance level of participants and a barrier in the transition to regular position still remain. This study hopes that a case of Kwangju gives pragmatic insights for a realizable path to expanding universal welfare through assuring job opportunity to the young generation in local area.

산업연구원에서 발표한 '2014년 경제 산업 전망'에 따르면 세계 경제의 완만한 회복세와 수출 증가, 내수 회복세 확산 등으로 2014년 우리나라의 국민총생산(GDP) 증가율이 3.7%에 이를 것으로 예상된다. 수출은 세계경제 회복세에 힘입어 전년에 비해 증가세가 확대되나, 우리의 주요 수출시장인 신흥권의 성장 둔화로 증가율이 크게 높아지기는 어려울 전망이다. 2014년 수출은 약 6.7%, 수입은 약 9% 증가하고 무역흑자는 328억 달러 내외를 기록할 전망이다. 민간소비는 가계부채 부담이 제약요인으로 작용하나 수출 회복에 힘입은 소득 상승, 유가 안정과 환율 하락에 따른 교역조건 개선 등으로 전년보다 높은 3%대 초반의 증가가 예상된다. 2014년 10대 주력산업은 미국, 유럽연합(EU) 등 선진국의 경기 회복과 주력산업의 경쟁력 강화에 따라 일반기계(8.5%), 자동차(6.7%), 정보통신기기(7.1%), 반도체(6.8%) 등의 수출이 호조를 보일 것으로 예측된다. 반면 디스플레이 수출 증가율은 3%에 그치며 철강(-0.1%)과 조선(-0.4%)의 수출은 부진할 전망이다. 신흥국 경기회복정도, 원화강세와 엔화약세 등의 환율요인, 중국업체들의 글로벌 입지 확대 등이 이들 주력산업 성장의 주요 변수로 작용할 전망이다.

베트남은 캄보디아, 태국, 버마, 말레이시아 등 주변 시장으로 쉽게 진출할 수 있는 거점지역으로서의 중요성을 가지며, 세계적인 컨설팅사인 AT Kearney사는 2009년 평가에서 5위로 전 세계 185개 국가 중에서 2020년까지 아시아의 유망시장으로 평가하고 있다. 평가는 인구, 소득, 시장잠재력, 위험, 유통침투 지수 등을 기초로 AT Kearney사가 개발한 소매유통산업개발지수(General Retail Development Index)에 따른 것으로 베트남은 2008년 1월, 2009년 5위 등 상위권을 지키고 있다. 또한 2010년 기준 8,700만명의 인구대국으로, 30대 이하 인구비중이 56%로 상대적으로 높아 소비자 인적구성 측면에서 성장가능성이 크며, GDP의 70%를 내부소비가 점유하고 있고, 소비여력이 큰 44세~55세 인구가 높은 비중이 높아 홍삼시장의 성장가능성이 크다. 홍삼제품은 도시 중심의 500개 소매점과 3,000개의 약국을 통해 유통되고 있고, 홈쇼핑과 인터넷 쇼핑몰 등 신규유통을 통해서도 유통이 활발해 지는 등 나름대로 유통체계가 구축되고 있으나, 소비자 인식부족과 물류시스템 등 유통 시스템의 미흡으로 본격적으로 성숙기 시장으로 진입하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 소비자와 유통 특성을 고려하여 시장에 진출한다면 성공적인 진입이 예상되나, 미국 등 다른 선진국들도 투자를 강화하고 있어 조만간 성숙기 시장으로 진입할 것으로 예상된다.
