The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of social bonding on self-competence in the juvenile delinquency on the mediating effect of self-esteem. The data of 908 juvenile inmates in a Study on Measures to Develop Entrepreneurship Education Model and to Encourage Start-up for Youth(2015) by the National Youth Policy Institute were analysed. The results of the study are: (1) social bonding was found a key factor affecting the self-competence, (2) their social bonding affects self-esteem, (3) self-esteem affects self-competence, (4) self-esteem was proved to have a mediating effect between the effects of social bonding and self-competence. The implications and limitations are reviewed, as are the suggestions for future research.

The current juvenile law has to be improved in the following respects: First, there is no clear and objective basis for the process divided into criminal and protective dispositions. Second, the spirit of legislation to protect the boy is understandable, but when reviewing the application process of the juvenile law to actual juvenile crimes, it is hard to find such spirit. Third, in dealing with juvenile protection cases, the outcome and process of disposal should be reflected in the boy's protection ideology. Finally, efforts should be made to shorten the processing period of the case, curb the transfer of violent criminals to juvenile detention center, and integrate the latter part of the first and sixth disposition.

최근 소년범죄는 양적 증가와 함께 질적 심각성도 문제되고 있는데, 특히 성인범죄자에 비해 다소 높은 재범률로 인해, 기존 처우의 한계에 대한 의문이 강하게 제기되고 있다. 이는 소년범죄자가 수용되는 교정 보호기관이 교정 교화라는 고유의 목적이 아닌 범죄의 재학습이라는 악영향을 낳고 있기 때문이다. 이에 소년범죄자의 재범 방지를 위한 대책이 절실한데, 기존 처벌위주의 제도적 한계를 인식하고 소년범죄자들의 사회 복귀 후 재범 방지와 정상적 생활을 누릴 수 있도록 원호하는 교정복지적 관점의 접근이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 소년범죄의 개념 및 유형과 현황을 살펴보고, 범죄인의 교정 교화와 건전한 재사회화를 지원하는 교정복지의 개념 및 기능을 고찰함으로써 향후 소년범죄자에 대한 교정복지의 적용 가능성과 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

The purposes of this research are to analysis and diagnosis the actual condition of vocational ability development training for juveniles delinquent occupational capability development of juveniles who are assorted as a socially disadvantaged group and to suggest the remedies for their successful return to normal social life. In order to accomplish these purpose of the research, we involved in vocational training teachers(23) and trained for more a month to juvenile delinquents(533) such as surveys. Both of them focused on improvement of strengthen for vocational training, complementary learning of juvenile delinquents and securing experts.

The enlightenment project raised in both Korea and China during the modern period worked as a part of the patriotic enlightenment movement against the imperial powers. Among them, "boy" appeared as the subject of enlightenment, and "sea" appeared as a medium. Specifically, through "Boy Discourse," Liang Qi Chao ultimately envisioned a nation for "subjects", and Choi Nam-seon also seeked to overcome the national crisis as "New Korea" and join the ranks of powerful nations. Liang Qiqiao proposes the concept of a "Boy Nation" and an "Old Nation" through boy discourse, and wishing for the development of the "Boy Nation" through "proficiency training". Choi Nam-seon also recognized that the future of the nation depends on "boys", influenced by Liang Qi-qiao's discourse on boys, and argues that Choseon should cultivate skills to become a "Boy Nation". In addition, Liang Qi-chao and Choi Nam-seon actively spread the "boy discourse" through the creation of poetry. Liang Qi Chao introduced the world's geography and history through poetries related to the sea, while at the same time inspiring a sense of challenge to recognize and pioneer the sea as a pathway that connects the world in a broad sense. Namseon Choi also created a poem that directly linked "the sea" and the "boy" to promote the "adventure at sea" and "the progressive spirit of the sea and the boy".

국내의 소년원은 교육과 감호를 위한 제반시설을 갖추고 있다. 실제로 교육보다는 감호에 더 비중을 두고 있다. 그리하여 소년원 교육은 감호와 교육을 병행하는데서 오는 갈등을 겪고 있다. 지식정보화 사회가 되었고, 소년원리 개방화가 불가피하다. 오직 다른 게 있다면 통제 되어있다는 것일 뿐 일반 중고등학교와 똑같은 학습환경이 요구 된다. 교육적인 차원에서 접근을 하면 인터넷 환경조성을 위한 컴퓨터실의 시설과 장비가 지원되어야 하고, 속도개선을 위해서는 초고속 위성통신망이 구축되어야 한다. 각종 저작도구와 프로그램들을 확보하고 활용하여 자체적으로 유용한 프로그램들이 개발되어야 하며, 해결학 수 있는 능력 개발이 요구된다. 이러한 문제 해결로 향후 소년원생들의 인터넷 활용의 활성화를 기대해본다. 그리고, 이 논문을 계기로 소외된 소년원생 인터넷 교육에 관심을 가져보기 바란다.

The purpose of this study is to discuss about problems exposed as operating of bibliotherapy program and to find way to vitalize bibliotherapy as a correctional education for juvenile delinquents. The institutionalized youths of juvenile correctional school at P city which have been chosen as the sample representatives for planning, implementing, accessing and analyzing this program. The analysed results of the program show that points are to be considered: (1) Priority should be given to self-motivated youths when selecting participants. (2) Setting up as a regular program at juvenile correctional school. (3) To be necessary active participation, individual program should be provided in abreast of group program. (4) Creating adequate environment in other to ensure continuous self-healing for bibliotherapy (5) To create of professional bibliotherapy programs specialized for juvenile delinquents (6) Bases for Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and The National Central Library, and between local juvenile corrective institutions and local libraries (7) Ultimately, To found a library at juvenile correctional schools.

In order to investigate trends in youth soccer research, this study selected 18 prior literature published in domestic KCI-registered journals related to youth soccer over a three-year period from 2021 to 2023 as research subjects. Previous research on youth soccer was analyzed by year, journal, research method, and subject, and the results are as follows. First, the number of papers published on topics related to youth soccer was the highest at 9 in 2021. Second, it was found that youth soccer-related research was conducted in various sports-related academic journals. Third, quantitative research methodology took up a higher proportion of 83% than qualitative research method. Fourth, studies targeting youth soccer players were the highest at 50%, followed by coaches and parents of youth players.

The education of arts has been known to have positive impacts on not only general public but also for groups that have low self-satisfaction or that feel a sense of alienation. For example, there are research reports that confirm that there was a change in the sense of accomplishment and self-effectiveness on the students in industrial high schools that have less self-assurance and faith in their own identities compared to the academic high schools after taking art classes. Also, it has been discovered in another study on juvenile delinquents that how they spend their leisure time affected the rate of second convictions. In addition, in the , it has been shown that the juveniles preferred the cartoon and animation field the most among different art fields. The purpose of this research is developing a learning-teaching curriculum that can be used in the youth detention center schools based on above research results. The goal of the arts education in the youth detention center must be in increasing the inner control factors such as self-esteem and self-confidence rather than raising professional technicians for employment. Therefore, the researcher will understand the environmental particulars of the youth detention center which is closed and in which group works take the most proportion to develop and propose a teaching-learning curriculum most appropriate for such environment to conduct cartoon and animation education.

This research investigates into overall oral health status of adolescent girl inmates in a juvenile detention facility and ordinary school students in the same age range of 11 to 18 years old and compares the results focusing on the difference between the two groups. The last 5 years dental records for girl inmates in Juvenile detention facility and for students who have visited the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Ajou University Hospital was colleted and analyzed. The restorative treatments took up the greatest part in their history of treatments. While the percentage of extractions of permanent teeth due to dental caries had been gradually increased, in Juvenile detention facility students, throughout the transition period from middle school to high school, in dental hospital patients, the phenomenon of the same kind has hardly been detected. After that record analysis, oral examination for Juvenile detention facility students and dental hospital patients was conducted. DMFT index for dental hospital patients are 4.15, whereas, the value for Juvenile detention facility students are as twice as high to be 7.53.
