This study is to explore factors to consider for effective operation of synchronous online education in college. Synchronous online education is expanding in higher education. However, there is insufficient to comprehensively identify key components based on the learners' experience and perception. Using qualitative analysis on content of group interview and multidimensional scale analysis, the experience and perception of learners were identified. For the effective operation, interaction should be considered important, and rapport between learners needs to be built. In addition to improving the system in which activity tools are integrated, instructors should play mainly facilitator role, and learners have to manage the environment for immersion. For the types of online education, learners were divided into the dimension of 'activity' and 'temporality'. Further, it is to develop optimized design strategies considering its characteristics.

The Proxy Mobile IPv6 is a network-based localized mobility management protocol. In the PMIPv6, Mobile Nodes are topologically anchored at a Local Mobility Anchor, which forwards all data packets for registered Mobile Nodes. Since all data packets destined for the Mobile Nodes a1ways traverse the Mobile Nodes's Local Mobility Anchor, the LMA might be bottleneck and the end-to-end de1ay are increased. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed an enhanced Route Optimization scheme in Multiple Local Mobility Anchors environment. In order to rapid1y detect Route Optimization, we designed Domain Information Table in Mobility Access Gateway. Furthermore, we use Correspondent Binding Cache in Local Mobility Anchor to maintain Route Optimization information during Mobile Nodes's handover. To solve packet loss and reodering problems during handover, we propose a new buffering and forwarding scheme.

Many techniques have been proposed for mapping from XML to relations, but most techniques did not negotiate the semantics of XML data. The semantics is important to validate storage, query optimization, modification anomaly in process of schema design. Specially, functional dependencies are an important part of database theory, also it is basis of normalization for relational table in BCNF. This paper propose a new technique that reflect functional dependencies to store relation mapped from XML based on XML Schema. The technique can reduce storage redundancy and can keep up content and structure with constraint described by functional dependencies.

The steel grating discussed in this study is a drain cover that enhances the rigidity of the steel frame using an inclined inflow tract for wastewater, facilitates smooth drainage, and prevents the escape of bad smell from the drain. Recently, the urban problem of bad smell in sewerage lines has been hindering the improvement of living standards. Moreover, the frequent failure of existing products deters bad smell prevention measures and results in administrative power and budget wastage. The pressure to reduce budgets propels the increased demand for functional steel grating. Thus, this study focused on optimizing the design parameters of a steel grating by simultaneously considering its rigidity and drainage efficiency.

A service in the environments of internet of things (IoT) exist various types with automation facilities and sensors. There can configure so many communication protocols to networking facilities and sensors. To provide efficient various kind of service, a middleware platform, is based on the internet protocol network, is needed a unified access with devices, controlling and monitoring huge kind of facilities and sensors, to provide a efficient IoT service and application configurations. In this paper, we propose a middleware that an application and service interact with automation facilities and monitor sensors. The proposed middleware is designed with adapter pattern that one of the software engineering design pattern. The adapter pattern is to ensure communication with each sensor and to make sure of service scalability. Finally, the proposed component middleware shows that variety sensors can be easily configure the service in the IoT environment.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the productivity of elderly employees over 60 years old and to analyze factors that directly or indirectly affect the productivity of elderly employees, based on empirical facts of HR managers. As a result, the factors that have a positive effect on the productivity of elderly employees were attitude and professionalism. The decline in physical capacity due to aging was recognized as a key factor that negatively affected the productivity evaluation of elderly employees. Among the management strategies to improve the work performance, it has been shown that work placement or job redesign according to physical competency contributes to improving the productivity of elderly employees. Also, providing safety education and communication opportunities among workers has a positive effect on productivity improvement. The results of this study suggest that it is important to improve worker productivity by arranging older workers' work experience to be able to demonstrate their accumulated career and expertise and to create a working environment that takes into account physical competence.

The underlying advantages of using thin-walled corrugatedwebs instead of plate girders with stiffeners are the elimination of instability problems associated with buckling of the thin-walled flat plate, and elimination of the need for transverse stiffeners, which alsoresults in economic advantages. This paper focuses on two aspects related to the structural design technique forsinusoidal corrugated web steel beams, and the optimum design of the beams using real-value genetic algorithms. The structural design process and design variables used in this optimization werecomposed with EN 1993-1-5, DASt-R015 standard and Pasternak et al. (2004), and the valid design capacity of shear buckling of the standards were compared. For the optimum structural design, the objective function, presented as the fullweight of the sinusoidal corrugated web beams, and the slenderness, member forces, and maximum deflection of the beam, were considered constraints. Finally, the simple beam under the uniform load was adopted as a numerical example, and the effective probability parameters of the genetic operators were considered to find the global minimum point.

Nowadays, document management system is used to share the information using intranet in some enterprises. But for enterprise that is to share information with other enterprises, a simple information sharing environment like homepage or email is used. The goal of CALS is to increase productivity through rapid exchange of shared information between enterprises. CITIS is a software infrastructure in CALS and service standard to share the CALS data among business organizations. CITIS can be used as a software infrastructure for constructing virtual enterprise in the internet. In this paper, we design and implement CITIS prototype on the internet. Java is selected as an implementation language fer its portability and web-based characteristics. CORBA is an communication middleware for distributed objects.

Mobility management technology is one among the most important issues in future mobile communication systems. The mobility management technology includes location management and handoff technologies. In this paper, we present a hierarchical distributed dynamic location management scheme that is compatible with the IMT-2000 environment. The proposed scheme composes a cluster with location registers, then makes up a hierarchical structures consisting of clusters. Each layer in the hierarchical structure uses different location management strategies cooperating another layers with each other. Also, the proposed scheme uses location update algorithm considering the frequency of location queries from nodes outside the local cells. We evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme through an analytical model.

The requirements for harsh environment electronic controllers in automotive applications have been steadily becoming more and more stringent. Electronic substrate technologists have been responding to this challenge effectively in an effort to meet the performance, reliability and cost requirements. An effect of the plasma cleaning at the ECM(Engine Control Module) alumina substrate and the intermetallic compound layer between Sn-37wt%Pb solder and pad joints after reflow soldering has been studied. Organic residual carbon layer was removed by the substrate plasma cleaning. So the interfacial adhesive strength was enhanced. As a result of AFM measurement, conductor pad roughness were increased from 304 nm to 330 nm. $Cu_6/Sn_5$ formed during initial reflow process at the interface between TiWN/Cu pad and solder grew by the succeeding reflow process, so the grains became coarse. A cellular-shaped $Ag_3Sn$ was observed at the interface between Ag-Pd conductor pad and solder. The diameters of the $Ag_3Sn$ grains ranged from about 0.1∼0.6 $\mu\textrm{m}$. And a needle-shaped was also observed at the inside of the solder.
