This study examined that the assimilated web technologies can contribute to IS(information system) success. Through hierarchical regression analysis, the following findings are identified. First, top management championship, strategic investment rationale, and computer use and access affected web technology assimilation, and then web technology assimilation influenced on IS development success positively. Second, top management championship had more influence than other independent variables in strategies dimension of web technologies assimilation while strategic investment rationale did in activities dimension. Third, the strategies assimilation was more dominant than the activities assimilation for IS success. Thus it is concluded that IT including web technologies brings organizations a powerful business tool and high profit.

This study evaluated critical factors influencing the success of regenerative endodontic treatment for necrotic immature permanent teeth. The study enrolled patients who had regenerative endodontic treatment in a necrotic immature permanent tooth through 1-year follow-up. Possible explanatory variables related to the success rates for 46 teeth were age, gender, dental stage at the initial appointment, etiology, treatment information, and clinical and radiographic outcomes. The dental stage at the time of regenerative endodontic treatment did not influence the success rate. The success rate was significantly related to the etiology of the necrotic immature tooth. The success rate according to etiology decreased in the following order: dens evaginatus, caries, and trauma. There was also a significant difference according to the type of antimicrobial. The success rate was influenced by appropriate disinfection of the root canal system, provision of a scaffold, and coronal sealing. Above all, careful case selection is necessary for treating a necrotic immature permanent tooth, especially in cases of trauma.

The reliability used as a performance indicator during the development of space launch vehicle should be validated by the launch success probability, and the launch data need to be fed back for reliability management. In this paper, the launch data of space launch vehicles around the world were investigated and statistically analyzed for the success probabilities according to the launch vehicle models and maturity. The Bayesian estimation of launch success probability was reviewed and analyzed by comparing the estimated success probabilities using several prior distributions and the statistical success probability. We presented the method of generating prior distribution function and considerations for Bayesian estimation.

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediation effect of social support in the influence of anxiety over aging of the elderly group on successful aging. The results of analyses are as follows: First, as anxiety over aging of the elderly group increased, the successful aging decreased. Second, in the relationship between anxiety over aging of the elderly group and social support, the social support decreased as anxiety over aging increased. Third, in the relationship between social support and successful aging, an increase of social support led to an increase in successful aging. Fourth, Old man in relationship to and successful aging of ageing in the social support mediated effect parts of their identified. Thus, this study suggests measures to decrease the anxiety over aging of the elderly group for the successful aging and proposals for the further studies in an aging society.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting perceptions of successful aging and preparations for the later life among the baby boom cohort. The subject of survey is the baby boomer(from 1955 to 1963) and it was done from May 1 to September 15 in 2016. 814 self-reported questionnaires were used for final analysis by SPSS WIN18. The major results of this study were as follows: First, there were differences in the perception of successful aging by education level, subjective awareness of economic status, subjective awareness of health condition, marriage status. Second, there were differences in the preparations for the later life by education level, job, subjective awareness of economic status, subjective awareness of health condition. Third, The higher perception of successful aging was deserved to significantly affect preparations for the later life.

Advanced ICT Technologies support the chance for success in business however there are challenges that should be overcome in messenger development and the overcoming challenges will be a base line for succession in business. In this paper, we identify the characteristics of mobile messengers and evaluate users' preferences using AHP. As a result, we evaluated the critical success factors which are important in mobile messenger development. The results of AHP were generated 0.098 consistency ratio(CR). When the result is less than 0.1 in CR, the result could be accepted as trusted questions. The priority of factors was security(1.409), entertainment(0.19), communication (0.187) then this shows the users concerned in security and entertainment. These are not only development's success factors but also a good milestone to check ICT trends for setting up business chances.

Currently, most of big IT companies attempt to penetrate into Internet portal industry aggressively in order to expand their channels(sale, distribution, marketing, R&D, and so on) and to acquire competitive advantages. Existing Internet portals also have become larger and more complex with continuous developments. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire competitive contents to survive the extreme competition and to satisfy diverse needs of customers. In this paper, we have done qualitative analyses on the cases of domestic and foreign major Internet portals which have acquired contents through of M&A and strategic alliances. In our analyses, we identify five factors crucial to the successes and failures of Internet portals. From the analyses, we find that the acquisition of UCC based contents and subscribers over the critical mass point are the two most important factors that should be simultaneously satisfied for the successful M&As. Additional analyses suggest how to acquire synergy effects from successful M&As.

Recently, ITSM(IT Service Management) is adopted very widely among private and public organizations. The successful implementation of ITSM requires continuous improvement, not just implementation of IT processes and/or ITSM solutions. One of the major tools for the continuous improvement is 6 Sigma technique. This study compares success and failure cases at the project level, and identifies factors affecting successful application of 6 Sigma technique in the improvement of ITSM. To achieve the research objective, this study first identifies and classifies success factors for 6 Sigma application through literature review. Then, factors to be used in the study are determined. Based on the factors, success and failure cases are compared. The research results show that all 5 factors (participation of management, participation of project team, project selection and verification, customer and market orientation, strategy and goal focus) are significantly different between success and failure cases.
