Development and Operation Status of Space Object Collision Risk Management System for Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) (한국항공우주연구원 우주물체 충돌위험 관리시스템 개발 및 운영현황 )

  • This paper includes the development and operational status of the space object collision risk management system operated by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. Currently, it monitors 6 low-orbit satellites and 3 geostationary satellites for collision risks 24 hours, enabling prompt collision avoidance maneuvers to ensure safe and stable operations. Since Chinese anti-satellite test (ASAT) in 2007, the monitoring of collision risks between space objects and operational satellites has been taken seriously, leading to the development of various collision risk management systems to respond quickly and efficiently to such situations. This paper provides an introduction to the space object collision risk management system developed from 2007 to the present, the current status of artificial space objects around Earth, and the system currently in operation. Additionally, it outlines future prospects and plans for the system.

  • Car running data collected from the vehicle is a native image data and sensing data of it. Hence, it can be used as a set of objective data based on which events that took place outside the car can be analyzed and determined. In this paper, we designed and implemented a emergency situation detection system to sense, store, and analyze signals related to car movements, driver's various operation states, collision pulse, etc when a car collision accident occurs on the actual road by sensing and analyzing the car movements and driver's operation status. The suggested system provides information on the driver's reaction right before the collision, operation state of the vehicle, and physical movement. The collected and analyzed data on vehicle running can be utilized to clarify the cause of a collision accident and to handle it in a just manner. Besides, it can contribute to grasping and correcting wrong driving habits of the driver and to saving.

  • 가상현실에서의 사운드는 충돌이나 접촉 등의 인터랙션을 전달함에 있어서 그래픽 영상보다도 효과적인 경우가 많다. 그러나, 기존 연구에서는 발생 가능한 충돌음을 임의적으로 녹음한 후 실시간에서 단순 재생하는 방법으로 재현하고 있는 것이 대부분이다. 그러나, 가상환경은 미리 주어진 시나리오에 의해 플레이되는 것이 아니기 때문에 실시간으로 주어지는 인터랙션에 대해 적합한 충돌음을 실시간에 합성해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 녹음된 음의 단순재생을 피하고 실시간 가상환경의 충돌음 발생 요인을 바탕으로 유사한 물질의 충돌음을 하나의 대표 모델로서 표현하는 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 모든 샘플들을 저장하는 대신 하나의 고유음과 필요한 속성 표현을 제공하는 것이다. 이러한 고유음 표현은 실시간에 속성 요소의 변형에 의해 다양한 상황에 적응적인 음을 생성하게 된다. 이러한 충돌음 표현의 생성과 타당성을 파악하기 위해 충돌음을 방생시키는 물질들에 대한 진동음의 스펙트로그램 분석을 행하였고, 유사 물질별로 하나의 고유음 표현을 생성하여 해당 물질의 실제 충돌음과 비교함으로써 주요 주파수 패턴의 유사함을 확인하였다.

Automatic Control for Ship Automatic Collision Avoidance Support (선박자동충돌회피지원을 위한 자동제어)

  • The studies on automatic ship collision avoidance system, which have been carried out last 10 years, are facing on new situation due to newly developed high technology such as computer and other information system. It was almost impossible to make it used in real navigation 3-4 years ago because of the absence of the tool to get other ship's information, however recently developed technology suggests new possibility. This study is carried out to develop the algorithm of automatic ship collision support system. The NOMOTO ship's mathematic model is adopted in simulation for its simplicity. The fuzzy reason rules are used for course-keeping system and for the calculation of Collision Risk using TCPA/DCPA. Moreover‘encounter type’ between two ships is analyzed based on Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea and collision avoidance action is suggested, Some situations are simulated to verity the developed algorithm and appropriate avoidance action is shown in the simulation.

  • The spread of wireless Internet technology development and applications with location information in the form of location-based services are becoming more diverse. In particular, where you recognize the location of objects such as people and things and to provide valuable services based on the ubiquitous and location-based services are emerging as an important service. The collision between the vehicle position measurement in this thesis and offers related service system. Used in the proposed system, the GPS PACKET with information about the location and time of collision for the vehicle crash, the vehicle consists of a NodeID.   • 볼링게임에서 충돌기법은 중요한 요소이다. 충돌기법의 구현을 위해서, 본 논문에서는 두 개의 구를 틀 안에서 움직이면서 틀의 벽에 부딪혔을 때 또는 구와 구끼리 충돌이 일어났을 때의 상황을 고려 한다. 구 와 구끼리의 거리차를 계산하여 충돌시점을 알리며 각각의 구의 성질(무게, 속도, 방향 등)에 따라 변하는 모습을 구현한다. 실질적인 응용을 위하여 볼링 핀의 클래스를 만들고 공과 핀끼리의 충돌, 핀과 핀끼리의 충돌을 해석하는 볼링게임을 직접 구현하였다.

  • 자동차 사고 재구성이란 사고 상황으로부터 가능한 모든 정보를 수집, 분석하여 사고 거동 및 원인을 규명하는 작업을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 자동차 사고 재구성에 직접 적용이 가능하도록 개발된 범용성의 정성적 충돌 전문가 시스템의 Prototype을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 충돌 전 물체의 운동 방향과 공간에서의 정보가 주어졌을 때, 충돌로 인한 물체의 순간적인 운동을 정성적으로 예측한다. 분야 모델은 정성적 충돌 이론과 정성적 계산을 제공하는 정성적 수학의 지식 베이스로 구성된다. 충돌로 인한 물체의 운동을 해석하는 데 있어, 충돌 전 물체의 운동 방향과 충돌시의 기하학적 배치사이의 상호 작용을 분석하는 것이 그 핵심을 이루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그 상호 작용을 밝혀 내어 정성적 표현 방식에 의거하여 해석하는 충돌 이론을 소개하였다. 추론 기관을 설계하는데 있어서는 동력학 정보뿐만 아니라 공간 정보를 추론하기 위한 기법이 제시되었다.

  • Recently, the number of space objects around the Earth has increased rapidly, necessitating systematic space risk management. This paper proposes a dual-mode framework for assessing the risk of collision between space objects. The proposed framework consists of microscopic and macroscopic modes. The former focuses on one-to-one collision events, and the latter assesses the overall collision risk inside a cell located in space. Two risk assessment case studies using the proposed two modes demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.

  • Reconstruction of collision accidents is to analyze the cause of accidents and collision behavior using available information from vehicle accident circumstances. This paper introduces a collision reconstruction system which is developed to be applicable to traffic accident reconstruction. Our System combines both quantitative and qualitative collision models so as to compensate for weaknesses in each with strengths of each other. I It provides accurate predictions and causal explanations of the collision behavior. During r reverse analysis of collision. qualitative simulation is used to verify a hypothesis and to detect any conflict in early stage of reconstruction. It is implemented and applied to real car-to-car collision accidents. The test results verify the reliabilities of our techniques.
