1990년 이후 우리나라를 둘러싼 동북아시아를 비롯하여 동남아시아의 도시에 이르기까지 지진, 태풍, 쓰나미 등의 환경재해가 빈발하고 있는 상황이다. 또한 최근 아이티, 칠레에서의 지진 발생뿐만 아니라 국내 수도권에서도 지진이 발생하여 자연지해에 대한 우려가 많아지고 있다. 현대의 건축물들은 다양한 자연재해로부터 취약할 수밖에 없으므로, 이를 최대한 빠르게 확인하여 경보하는 것만이 인명 및 재산의 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 구조물 건전성 진단을 위한 통합 모니터링 시스템에 대하여 소개한다. PDA나 스마트폰을 갖고 있는 관리자는 실시간으로 통합 모니터링 시스템에 접근하여, 해당 구조물의 상태를 확인함으로써 피해 상황을 파악한다. 시설물 유지 관리자에게 건전성 유무를 판단할 자료를 실시간으로 제공하는 것은 조기대응으로 인한 현재의 피해를 최소화할 수 있으며, 추후 발생할 수 있는 추가적인 피해를 예방할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

최근의 사회 경제적 현상에 비추어 우리나라 젊은이들은 취업에 많은 고민을 하고 있으며 이의 극복을 위해 많은 시간과 노력을 할애하고 있다. 우리나라는 경제규모가 세계 10위권대 임에도 불구하고 취업시장은 매우 어려운 상황이어서 돌파구가 있어야 하는 상황이다. 지금의 세계경제는 4차 산업시대로 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 변화의 중심은 세계적 대기업이 아닌 IT기반의 플랫폼 사업의 개인 창업가들이며, 이 개인 창업가들이 엄청난 속도로 성장하여 지금의 글로벌기업을 이끌고 있다. 최근 창업에 관한 인식변화와 함께 관심을 갖고 실제로 창업에 도전하는 현상이 늘어나고 있으며, 이의 성공여부가 본인은 물론 우리나라의 경제를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 원동력이 된다고 생각한다. 본 연구를 통해 생애전반에 걸쳐 교육과 취업이나 창업의 많은 사회적 경험활동이 사업가적 도전성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 한다. 실질적인 성과를 낼 수 있는 경험자들이 창업에 도전성에 어떤 영향을 주고 있는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 사회적 경험활동이 기업가적 도전성에 어떤 영향을 미치는 알아보는 연구로 개인적 특성, 사회적 경험, 창업실패에 대한 인식이 사업가적 도전성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검증하고, 사회적 지지가 사업가적 도전성에 조절효과가 있는지 검증하고자 한다. 창업이 국가의 경제성장이나 개인의 취업 및 경제활동 욕구를 충족시키는 요소라면 사업가적 도전성을 개개인의 사회적 경험에 앞서 학교 교육과정에서부터 체득될 수 있는 환경을 조성해서 창업에 도전성이 더욱 더 성장될 수 있도록 성장과정에서 교육적 사회적 책무를 가지고 환경조성을 한다면 사회적 경제적 비용을 줄일 수 있을 뿐 아니라 건정한 사회를 만들 수 있다고 생각한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of problem-based learning(PBL) of information communication ethics on the problem-solving skills of fifth- and sixth-grade elementary school students about information communication ethics and their attitude. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the PBL-based teaching materials for information communication ethics could serve to stir up the interest of students by letting them face problem situations caused by the disfunction of the information society. Second, a wide variety of teaching-learning activities including cooperative learning and discussion were implemented while the selected students performed the given problem-solving tasks, and the activities had a very good effect on PBL-based information communication ethics education. Third, PBL-based information communication ethics education could be one of effective ways to boost not only the problem-solving skills of students but the teaching interest and capability of teachers.

When using computer-supported collaborative learning(CSCL) tool where learners with different perspective are discussing in the same place, it is difficult to catch connection between specific position of learning content and written message by learners, share each other knowledge and opinion. This study investigated the phenomena responsible for causing "Un-shared knowledge" by literature research and designed collaborative representation tool based on described principle. A version of the Mediated annotation tool was developed for each problem identified and was subsequently tested by software evaluation standard and F.G.I. Final mediated tool will contribute to overcome knowledge sharing barriers, facilitate communication among students and describe high quality solution.

The convergence of education and technology has been emphasized, leading to the application of educational technology (EdTech) in the field of education. EdTech provides learner-centered, customized learning environments through various media and learning situations. In this paper, we designed hardware for EdTech-based educational tools for IoT security education in the field of cybersecurity education. The hardware is based on a dual microcontroller unit (MCU) within a single board, allowing for both attack and defense to be performed. To leverage various sensors in the Internet of Things (IoT), the hardware is modularly designed. From an educational perspective, utilizing EdTech in cybersecurity education enhances engagement by incorporating tangible physical teaching aids. The proposed research suggests that the design of IoT security education hardware can serve as a reference for simplifying the creation of a security education environment for embedded hardware, software, sensor networks, and other areas that are challenging to address in traditional education..

During COVID-19, education industry is organizing the concept of 'Edutech', which has evolved one step further from the existing e-Learning, by introducing various intelligent information technologues based on the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution and spreading it through diverse contents. Meanwhile, each industries are creating new industries by applying new technology to existing businesses and ask for needs of cultivating human resources who understand the existing traditional ICT technology and industrial business which can solve a newly rising problems. However, it is difficult to build contents for cultivating such human resources with the existing e-learning of transferring knowledge by one-way or some two-way commnication system which has established some interactive conversational system. Accordingly, this study conducted a research on a cooperative e-learning system that enables educators to communicate with learners in real time and allows problem-solving education based on the existing two-way communication system. As a result, frame for contents and prototype was developedp and artially applied to the actual class and conducted an efficiency analysis, which resulted in the validation of being applied to the actual class as a simulation-based cooperative content.

This study investigates the educational needs of parents of elementary school children, who use smartphones for emergencies. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study, and data of 200 parents of students under the 6th grade was collected from October 17 to 27, 2017. The study results indicate that 67.5% parents visited the emergency department due to a child's emergency accident. Of these, 74% respondents replied that they were unaware of how to deal with the emergency at that instance. Most parents had never received education, and were using smart-phones to acquire information on first aid. Ed. Parents' demand for education on child emergency response scored high, with an average of 3.40 (±0.42) out of 4 points. Among the educational categories, "the management of foreign body airway obstruction and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)" scored the highest average for educational needs (3.64±0.52). This research provides baseline information for understanding the educational needs of parents for first aid for the child. Our findings indicate that the smartphone is potentially an effective educational tool for parents.

In this paper, we present a music retrieval system that compares the geometric structure of a melody specified by a user with those in a music database. The system finds matches between a query melody and melodies in the database by analyzing both structural and contextual features. The retrieval method is based on the geometric hashing algorithm which consists of two steps; the preprocessing step and the recognition step. During the preprocessing step, we divide a melody into several fragments and analyze the pitch and duration of each note of the fragments to find a structural feature. To find a contextual feature, we find a main chord for each fragment. During the recognition step, we divide the query melody specified by a user into several fragments and search through all fragments in the database that are structurally and contextually similar to the melody. A vote is cast for each of the fragments and the music whose total votes are the maximum is the music that contains a matching melody against the query melody. Using our approach, we can find similar melodies in a music database quickly. We can also apply the method to detect plagiarism in music.

Recent changes in medical environment are based on technology such as internet. As most hospitals require the change and the adaptation of medical, medical information experts are more needed. In this study, we developed web based PBL model and applied it to the students majoring in medical information system. The developed web-PBL model focuses on learner's online learning activities to enhance collaborative learning and self-directed learning by using online learning tools. At the result of the research, We found that the students' course evaluation somewhat increased compared to the previous class and the students positively perceived on PBL model. Moreover, this study showed that using blog as a online learning tool was a good way to enhance cooperative learning.

In this paper, we design and implement educational system by using active database technique in www environments. The developed system consists of three modules such as user group interface, active-based monitor, and expert group interface. The roles of each module are summarized as follows. The user group interface provides with system accessibility the users who registered in the developed system. The active-based monitor, triggering modules, consists of three sub-modules such as keyword parser, exception handler, and DB access module. Also it manages five items such as keyword index, Q&A DB, user group mailing list, and expert group mailing list. The expect group interface provides answer filling form for the expert who registered in the developed system.
