The media culture influences upon young people while introducing new cultures by every hour. Considering the mainstream culture, in which media has the greatest effect on young people, this article examines the symbolic significances of youth fashion through media culture. The results of this study can be summarized as the following: First, young people's popular culture ("pop culture") is becoming the medium that leads to the creation of similar cultures of the young people globally through various routes. Culture is being created by integration of diverse media, and not by what is seen through a single medium. Typical young people's culture, which is formed due to the influence of media culture, includes community culture, pun culture, virtual culture and fandom culture. Second, in order to examine youth fashion that is seen in those media, the survey has been conducted on media stars, tecktonik dance groups, fashion models, avatars and online communities, which are fashion icons influencing young people. Third, youth fashion, which has been formed centering on media culture, has the flexible property that varies the symbolic significance according to which culture becomes the main axis. The symbolic significance in fashion, which is seen on media culture young people are contacting, has been examined in the aspects of value orientation, diversity orientation, speed orientation and digital orientation.

This article focuses on the late 19th to early 20th century gat, the Korean top hat for men, to understand the diverse meanings behind the hat. During the late 19th to early 20th century, the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910) was plunged into confusion and turmoil as it was nearing its end. It was a period of drastic changes in regards to philosophy and ideology. To that end, the hats of society mirrored such changing times, as well as the differences in the awareness of Joseon's internal subject entities and external observers. Based on the analyses of the relevant documents, this study takes a multi-faceted approach to the process in which traditional Korean hats, which were once a symbol of the Joseon civilization, became reduced to an outdated object, as well as observing the awareness and attitudes of the entities involved in such a pivotal process.

Korea Ancient Gagye in Clothing history has the following meanings with ceremonial, social, and aesthetic aspects, related to symbolism of its formality and procedures, flexibility about social aspects, and clothing beauty. First, Gagye must be worn in formal ceremonies with its clothes. Different Gagye in different time and place means the symbolism of its formality and ceremonies. Gagye played a big role as a means to carry out national ceremonies In diplomatic relationship with China. Second, Korea Ancient Gagye had been worn in every class irrespective of social status. Because it could be worn reflecting personal preferences even in old communities. Additionally Gagye had flexibility to reflect the historical aspects and improved various Gagye types reflecting Buddhism and practical science. So Gagye becomes significant sharing the common value with Korea Clothing culture. Third, Korea Ancient Gagye developed aesthetic spirit concerning beauty of Clothing. In the Age of the Three States, Clothing and Gagye types kept balanced and made good harmony. Gagye had gotten little exaggerated and expanded and become changed into loaded hair type.

The earliest of the Cultural forms have utilized different methods of artistic expression and aesthetic senses such as the Tattoo that symbolized the adornment of the human body. when viewing from the perspective of postmodern art and design, these cultural forms were redefined as a regression and intertextuality, a modern interpretation of Henna that had a subversive significance. Specifically, Henna design quickly emerged as a new style in fashion art which represented a postmodern phenomenon. It was introduced as a fashion style in korea about 10years ago. since then, the henna fashion trends is growing rapidly in the domestic market. However, It is growing without our unique identity due to indiscriminate and excessive industrialization. This study of Henna design, (similar to the art of Tattooing) sees from a cultural and regional perspective of orgin. This study interprets henna as a fashion style and analyzes symbolic meaning and aesthetic senses today with a clear definition of henna Design. from now on It's purpose is to establish the Korean Henna culture and the possibility of it being the fashion style that contains a unique atmosphere.

In geography education, the research which conceptualize the subject matter is still scare. Generally, the subject matter is used as a given or taken for granted as tested. The subject matter is not accepted as a given, but needed to construct what is founded on learner's life as a thing of most important the process of teaching and learning. Today, most critics argue that schooling seems to represent only a catalog of subjects, a structure of socially prescribed knowledge, or a complex system of meanings, which may or may not fall within his grasp. To solve this problem the meaning of terms should be separated from socially fixed conditions. Therefore, this resarch explores ways to reconceptualize the subject matter of geography based on the learner's everyday life in geography education.

Such changes that the digital paradigm brought propels a change of the value system itself in the existing society so that a way of thinking that differentiates oneself from others is getting much stronger. As public interests are higher in the image production on the internet, such authoring environments as development of related technologies, expansibility of information, and systematization of available information continue to change. Therefore, a variety of unique image presentations that fit to the changed environments are necessary and an expression method is indispensable for such image production. It suggests digital image application methods and examples that contain not just simple image distortion or variation but intrinsic significance. It is believed that it will be of good use to produce a variety of unique and innate digital images in the end.

The rainbow has been considered as a perfect representative of color harmony in nature. In this study rainbow's colors include seven spectral colors and changeable colors according to observational angle. This study performed a bibliographical inquiry into rainbow colors and the survey research for classification of rainbow color images in fashion design. First, a bibliographical inquiry includes the definition of rainbow colors, physical formation principles of the rainbow, and its aesthetical attributes and symbolism. Second, this survey classifies rainbow color images in fashion design. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The rainbow was the religious and symbolic object before 17th century, and after that period, the rainbow became an aesthetical object. The main symbolic meanings are similar in eastern and western culture: temporary bridge between two world, divine nature, hope/beauty/richness, war/ death/flood/drought. 2. This survey shows that 6 main factors of rainbow color images in fashion design are 'vigorous', 'colorful'. 'fairy', 'fresh', 'mysterious', 'brilliant'. Rainbow color image in fashion design shows past and futuristic image at the same time. The purpose of this study is to systematized the images theoretical bases which are applied to color expression and of rainbow colors and to find out the development about rainbow theme by designers.

The purpose of this study is to explore and understand correlation between an appearance of the web-graphics and rhetorical analysis. This paper was adopted semiotic approaches and four rhetorical tropes as follows metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche, irony. The web-graphics are parts of the web-contents that are increased continuously in the web-space these days. To investigate cgaracteristic of individual web-graphic this study selected semiotic framework and analysis meaning of the rhetorical tropes. The results of this study can be founded as follows: · Rhetorical graphics we produced linguistic features between human and signs for the fundamental characteristic of the signification. · Rhetorical graphics offer to the users the due of the decoding precesses through the narrative structures to symbolic schema. besides, these are operated limited framework of condensation and displacement. · The web-graphics participate human's recognition processes and rhetorical codes in order to investigate the sign-vehicle of the deep-structures.

Bluetooth is currently a conceptual success with few tangible results, but in the future it will have significant implications for the end user and the wireless industry. For new entrants, Bluetooth presents an excellent opportunity to stake a claim in the wireless landscape, while for the incumbents it is primarily a tool to drive the demand for their wireless products and services. However, Bluetooth must still overcome many obstacles before it can become a universal catalyst for wireless data adoption. This paper describes the Bluetooth technology and provides a foundation for evaluating its potential as a wireless technology and a market driver.

The Princess Bari, an epic song passed down orally among the korean shamans, describes the process of its heroine's becoming a shaman. The life of a shaman coincides with the image of Mother Goddess that created human beings in that her role was to connect the life here and hereafter in Korea. Princess Bari, an abandoned daughter, experiences the world of death, sacrifices herself completely for her parents, devotes to her husband and gives birth to seven sons. She is a Mother Goddess who embraces fecundity and fertility, creation and destruction, and life and death. Furthermore, she is a "warm-hearted Mother Goddess" who takes the deceased to their last journey with maternal care. The number "seven", known to be a very significant number in human lives and the world after death, symbolizes how princess Bari had to be born as the seventh girl of her parents, not as the fifth or the sixth.
