본 논문에서는 주파수 무관(frequency independence) 특성을 갖는 자기상보 구조(self-complementary structure)로 된 안테나의 급전선로(feed line)로 사용할 수 있는 초광대역 발룬(ultra-wideband balun)을 제안하였다. 발룬을 설계하기 위해 클로펜스타인 테이퍼(Klopfenstein taper)를 사용하여 임피던스 프로파일(impedance profile)을 구하고 이를 평행 스트립 선로(parallel strip line) 구조로 구현하기 위해 등각사상방법(conformal mapping method)을 이용했다. 설계한 발룬을 직접 제작하여 측정한 결과, 대역폭은 반사손실 -10 dB를 기준으로 할 때 0.45~10.53 GHz까지 10.08 GHz로 나타나, UHF(ultra high frequency) 통신대역에서 UWB(ultra-wideband) 통신대역에 이르기까지 매우 넓은 주파수 범위에서 자기상보형 안테나의 입력 임피던스 $188{\Omega}$을 $50{\Omega}$의 특성 임피던스에 정합시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

For a large deformation nonlinear dynamic analysis of two-dimensional frictional contact, the linear complementarity formulation combined with a linearization is used. The solution procedure is based on the total Lagrangian formulation with a predictor and corrector scheme. For contact searching, a hierarchical scheme with a circular territory is used. A second-order approximation of displacements is used to detect impact time and position. The formulation is illustrated by means of numerical examples.

This paper presents an analysis of the short-range radar noise adjusting the angle of the radar reflector for the handicapped aids and suggests a complementary filter that combines a moving average filter with a heuristic algorithm to remove the radar noise. It also shows the effectiveness of the suggested filter by comparing the experiments results between the Kalman filter and the suggested filter.

만화 영상은 대체적으로 단순하면서도 일정한 기울기(Gradation)를 가지는 영역이 많이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 만화 영상의 특징을 고려해서 상보 쿼드트리를 이용한 효율적인 압축방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 방법에서 상위마디의 색상은 하위 마디 중에서 가장 많은 부분을 차지하는 색상이 되며 각각의 마디는 형태 부호와 색상 부호 또는 형태 부호와 기울기 값으로 나타내어진다. 기울기를 가지는 영역이 많이 존재하는 만화 영상에서 제안한 방법은 기존의 다른 압축 방법보다 비트수를 줄일 수 있고, 무손실 점진적 전송도 가능하다.

접촉하는 두 물체 사이의 접합부에서는 국북적인 응력집중현상이 발생하여 기계 구조물의 마멸이나 파손의 직접적인 원인이 된다. 기존의 방법들은 복잡한 수식 처리와 반복 계산 때문에 접촉특성에 따라서 해석하기에 어려움이 많았다. 본 논문에서는 마찰이 있는 접촉문제를 반복계산 없이 효과적으로 해석하기 위해서 선형상보성 접촉조건과 가상일의 원리로부터 접촉요소를 개발하여 이를 사용한 유한요소 해석발법을 제안하였다. 연구결과로 평면 및 곡면 접촉문제나 다물체 접촉문제를 기존의 해석방법에 비해 훨씬 편리하고 정확하게 접촉현상을 규명할 수 있었다.

In this paper, We consider various service models and mechanisms as a part of study for offering QoS with the requirement of user and discuss genetic algorithm and hybrid genetic algorithm for routing optimization in broa㏈and convergence network. If routing optimization based on OSPF is not sufficient, a number of MPLS paths can be set up to further improve QoS. We propose two mixed-integer programming models for the complementary MPLS problem, and consider the maximum link utilization within the network as the relevant network QoS measure
